Beautiful place with amazing views! Located in the middle of the tea plantations making it ideal for dreamy morning and evening walks (we enjoyed the 5 pm walk very much). Good food and breakfast.

The reception staff were friendly and meant well but came across as young, bored and unprofessional. For example leaving the reception unattended, constantly distracted on their phones or serving dinner on a different time than agreed. Small things you wouldn't expect in a place of this price range and that easily can be improved with a more senior manager present. For the rest, we loved our stay at the Teanest.

I was looking to escape the city hustle, and Teanest was the perfect retreat. I stayed at Teanest Annexe, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. The view—especially with clouds rolling over the hills—was breathtaking. The food was delicious, well-served, and comforting. Special thanks to Nithish and Sreejith for their warm hospitality and attentive service; they truly made the stay feel like home. Highly recommend Teanest for anyone looking for peace, nature, and genuine care.

The only downside is that it felt slightly overpriced for what’s offered, but the overall ambiance and service help balance that out. A great choice if you’re seeking peace, comfort, and a touch of nature.

My first solo vacation and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. It was just the place I was looking for, beautiful, wonderful views around and far from the city hustle and bustle. I stayed for 2 nights at the room called Golden Tips. It's one of the rooms within the main building and very comfortable. Breakfast was included in my stay and had a wonderful hot spread on both days. Lunch, I was out, hence didn't have. Dinner again was at the resort and since they make everything fresh, they take orders by evening 6/6.30. Loved the home cooked feel. I booked cabs on both days from the resort itself. Vishnu helped me here a lot. The staffs at the property are courteous and very helpful. When I reached on 9th March morning, Vishnu was at the reception and he really made me feel welcome till the time my room was getting ready. I even ended up hurting my leg on the very first day ( careless of me!). Ranjit and David made sure I got a Volini spray and a crepe bandage. And I have to thank Raghu for clicking my pictures in the tea garden right across the road. I would surely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and a wonderful stay in Coonoor.

I think the breakfast menu can be changed every day as in my 2 days of stay, it had the same things except for 2 items may be. Example, first day there were poha and upma and second day ragi sewaiyan and pongal. Rest all same. May be have puri subji one day, idli sambar one day - In India there's no dearth of breakfast options!

The location is situated in a beautiful tea estate. It is quiet, relaxing, and perfect for nature-loving folks. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are complimentary cookies (biscuits) to go with your coffee/tea, and they bring other complimentary snacks at 4. Food is very good. The staff is just excellent - helpful and friendly. We loved the bird and tea garden walks with Azad. He was a very knowledgeable naturalist who could spotted many types of birds for us as well as the Malabar giant squirrel! It was really a perfect stay.

This place is ideal for people who want to be close to the tea gardens. At Tea Nest you can also relax and enjoy the delicious food. The rooms are very clean and have good beds. The gardens are beutifully kept. The Lemon Grass and Hibiscus rooms even have their own veranda.

The Green room is very nice but has not much of a view. However you can sit in the garden or in the lobby and then we it is fine.

Tea Nest - Annexe Resort in Coonoor is a place of solitude and charm, a 2 room bungalow amidst the Singara Tea Estate. A must-stay location who wants to stay in the lap of nature. Situated in a private road, you can only hear the numerous birds chirping. One can also enjoy an out-of-world sunrise on the valley overlooking Mettupalayam. Tastefully decorated, nice food, excellent wifi. Traveled with a young kid & was never bored. One can get private chef (kind of, as there are just 2 rooms in the Annexe facility), parking facilities available. Will come back again!

Everything okay, I know it's tough considering the location of the property, just some more options in food menu would have been 10on10.

We stayed in Silver Tips in may and it was fantastic. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. It is surrounded by tea gardens , even within the premises it's there and full of lovely flowers and birds. The food is awesome especially fish (Meen Pollichathu) special thanks to Prakash and Ranjit. The white tea and golden tips tea were amazing. The location is so perfect and they ve a complimentary tea walk tour of 1 hr which we missed due to rains and also a bird watching tour which i believe is whole day. The property is very nicely maintained especially the lovely kitchen and they ve taken many eco-friendly measures for natural resources. The nearby road is on the way to dolphin nose/lamb rock also sims park is closed and 1 can hire an auto (illaya-6380594166) to enjoy the weather. Also the road leads to a small village which is a must go by walk. Its very convenient to visit ooty toy train is a must go.

Just about the most incredible, cosy, charming english cottage experience, with an amazing garden and lovely walk through tea plantations, and a lovely conservatory for meals. We fell in love with everything, including the hammock. It was all soo beautiful, would have loved to stay for a month! Also very nice toiletries, esp the body lotion.

We would have loved to go on the birdwatching tour and evening tea walk, but unfortunately, both were cancelled due to the weather.

The place is great with a great view, courteous staff, bonfire, candlelight dinner and great food. Looks like a pretty average property but plus points for great view and big rooms.

The actual property picture shows a picture of Teanest whereas the stay was Teanest Annexe. There was some mess up - By booking.com or property - no idea. This is a good 700 mtrs from the actual Teanest.
