Likes - This hotel's location is just about perfect for visiting the fort. The, admittedly, ageing rooms were comfortable, clean with everything working. The view from the balcony, over the hills, was spellbinding and a swim in the pool after a hard day fort visiting just lovely. The restaurant served tasty veg food. Added to that the friendly, helpful staff(Mr. Ratan and Fateh) and we had a great stay, definitely recommended. Dislikes - although there were many ways to pay none of them worked with a UK card and they didn't have a card reader so we had to pay with cash. The most irritating bit, however, was that the parent company bombarded me with emails, threatening to cancel if I didn't pay in advance despite the fact that the conditions were payment on arrival. Thankfully I was able to contact the manager of the hotel who reassured me that the booking was secure. This wasn't the hotel's fault but the parent company needs to change this extremely annoying, practice!

Kumbhal Castle is an older property that has some maintenance issues. Our room had plumbing problems but we were moved to a better room and staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. As with all budget hotels you get what you pay for, so don't expect luxury here, but you will get perfectly adequate accommodation that is handy to the fort and just a 100 metre walk to an excellent pizzeria that also does good Lebanese and pasta. There is also a wine shop close by. The room service food at Kumbhal Castle was good and inexpensive. The hotel suited our needs and budget, and is recommended for those who want a cost effective and comfortable enough base to explore the area from.

The staff were very helpful and the facility was nice and clean. The location is on the main road but not any great views of lake or mountain

The facility were good would have been better if the facility was checked before the guest was handed over the rooms ex Toilet sit was loose/ broken, hot water was not available

The location and the view was simply mesmerizing. We got a valley view room which was next to the open terrace and close to swimming pool. Staff was really helpful and service was excellent. It was a short stay there but it definitely met our expectations. It is ideal for a getaway vacation.

The rooms could be improved even further and fix any issues like plumbing or adding a shower separator. Upgrade the ac and have better power backup.

The bathroom was okay and had decent amenities. The A/C in the room didn't work and we could have used it one evening. As others have said this hotel should be avoided by those with mobility issues or that are bringing a lot of luggage, because the elevator is located up a fairly long flight of stairs

Stay was good , rooms need more cleaning, fitting coming down from fan, washroom exhaust is not working, ac not fitted properly , food was excellent in lunch and dinner, breakfast is also good

Beautiful downtown hotel with nice roof top bar. Rooms have historic feel with old hard wood floors, yet modern as bathrooms have white subway tiles with TVs in each bathroom. Staff is wonderful and accommodating providing upgrades when available.

spent the weekend at Treebo Trend Hotel Kumbhal Castle and it was seriously lit! The rooms are cozy and chic, the rooftop terrace is perfect for sundowners, and the whole vibe is just chef's kiss perfection. Already planning my next getaway!
