The grandeur is out of this world . But what makes me love that place every time I am there is the hospitality . The care shown to us from everyone spl the old staff : Sikandar ji , Sajjan ji , Siddique ji , Aryan Sisodia and many many others from kitchen dep specially was absolutely out of this world. My most favourite place in this entire world .

There is nothing that’s not to be like there . It’s the most amazing place to be in this entire world if one can afford to. I stayed 8-9 days I wish I could have stayed there forever . My regret is to leave that place,

Once you go inside the hotel you have entered paradise. Nowadays it is easy to find very nice hotels that belong to luxury chains but finding a 100% professional service is very difficult, however in this hotel you will find excellence in service, the old school in hospitality where customer service is totally personalized. I do really enjoy my stay here.

If I have to criticize something it would be that I contacted the hotel before my stay to hire some services and it took days to respond and in my case I had to call to confirm these services because I didn’t get any confirmation on time but once I arrived at the hotel everything was perfect.

Anyone of our best stays ever. Simply woww. Not just the palace , it’s incredible architecture and majesty but the absolutely wonderful staff and their service which went above service and was more about welcoming with love and charity. Right from Chain Singh ji at the entrance to Chetan who helped us a click the best best pics, Sangram, Siddiqui ji who served us at the restaurant to Shobit the chef who whipped the most delectable fares, Harshvardhan /Sikandar who gave us the tours of the palace , they gave us an incredible experience. The staff their energy and hospitality takes the amazing Ummaid Bhavan experience to a whole new level. The property is spectacular and so well maintained.

The hotel offers a dramatic theatrical welcome with music and flowers, several staff and often a audience of public spectators held behind a barrier in the distance, left wondering who is arriving. Location was good and the hotel is one of the main attractions in the area, so staying is a must if you really want to view this modern palace. Staff are well trained and service is very good. The room was well appointed and cleaned to a good standard (not spotless). The communal areas are stunning in this grand palace with beautiful gardens, art and furniture. Food was very good in main restaurant and we enjoyed some delicious local food, although it was not far ahead in terms of quality, than other far less expensive hotels. The breakfast spread was good, and afternoon tea was a nice touch, although selection was a little disappointing with only a few items to choose from. The out door areas are some of the best I have ever seen in any hotel, and the building is an amazing architectural marvel. Its worth the money for sure, as a hotel of this standard in the UK would cost north of £1200 per night and certainly not the £600 per night we paid (which included dinner). If your a luxury traveller and like to be treated like a king/ Queen, its a hotel not to be missed...

The Spa in the basement was disappointing. The Jacuzzi in the men's was out of order and the jacuzzi in the ladies was cold, as was the pool which was heated to very low temperature. The cleanliness of these areas was also debatable, certainly not the best part of the hotel!!

Absolutely faultless

Me, my wife & our children came to celebrate my birthday at this marvelous structure and we are really glad we chose Umaid Palace for it. The hospitality by the staff made our stay even more extraordinarily better. Special thanks to Madam SHWETA who gave us the best service possible and fulfilled our every request within the blink of an eye. The staff at the Risala & the Pillars made our lunch, dinner & breakfast extra extra special. For this I give a special thanks to Mr SADDIQUE who was a pleasure to talk to and is such a pleasant personality. And cheers to the amazing chef Mr SHOBIT MATHUR who prepared for us one of the best meals we ever had. The whole staff including SAKSHI, AMAN, HARSIT, ALKA and NERENDE ji served and presented us with great enthusiasm and extraordinary service. I am really glad I visited Umaid Palace and am already suggesting and planning trip for my family and friends to visit this amazing place. Again a thanks to the amazing staff. Stunning property! Beautifully decorated and lovely gardens. We had a fabulous view from our room . I truly felt that we were living in a palace. Food was amazing in the restaurant. And if there was one thing that was better than the property was the service of the employees. They treated each guest like royalty, learned our names. Went above and beyond my expectations! The hotel gave me some local snacks to take to my mother on a complementary basis. And a lovely gift for myself and an extra one for my daughter when I said that my gift was lovely and that my daughter would probably take it from me!!!

Everything was great

I really liked the Hospitality. Right from the welcome in the hotel till we bid adieu , the staff was really cordial. Would specially like to mention Mr. Sikander Singh and his team, who made the stay feel like home. High tea snacks were delicious and what I really liked the most was how the staff was helping in clicking our pictures. That’s was commendable.

It doesn’t get better than umaid Bhawan in any way

The young Taj staff at check in table are not as great as actual Umsid Bhawan staff , they are fussy and just huddle together to chat . The old Umaid Bhawan staff has a class meanwhile which is unmatched to any other 5 star property in the world.

I stayed in Umaid Bhawan for a night in Nov'23 with my family consisting of my son, daughter in law and grand children and of course my wife. we stay in India but my son and his family had come from USA. It was a mesmerising experience for all of us. the hospitality was awesome. The property breadth taking. The cutlery and the cuisine served in the Risala restaurant was magnificent. we actually felt like Maharajas for a night. we also got a glimpse of a lavish marriage being organised at the property.

There is really nothing that one didn't like.
