I liked the room (they upgraded us for free to the next tier) The restaurant (not breakfast buffet) was really good, consistently among the best food me or my friends ate in the city It's minutes away from the airport, and the old city isn't far away We ended up buying a lot from their in property handicrafts store, the sweet gentleman manning the sales counter contributing as much as their wares The pretty lighting at night Staff were generally very nice and helpful

My partner felt the room was a bit gloomy, maybe they could install brighter light options for those who don't prefer an all mood lighting vibe. Breakfast spread was ok - not wow I used the gym and the pool. But the shower area was in bad repair, and I had to shower in my room before and after. Gym could also use a refresh. Spa doesn't look like it's functional (not that I would use it anyway) All said, feel it's expensive for the facilities it offers. But maybe that's inflation in India for you - looking at you Nimmo Tai :(

People, cleanliness, food

Reception efficiency. Housekeeping wasn’t done till evening (though the keys were given in the morning and the reception specifically mentioned it will be done right away). People at the reception are nice but their work efficiency should improve. Also, internet was dysfunctional in my wing. They offered to change the room after second follow up (it should have been communicated in the beginning).

Breakfast little disappointing. South Indian breakfast was not up to the mark. Having said that it was decent but not great. I had luxury suite, it was phenomenal with a large balcony and clean.

The breakfast can be improved and in the room there was a defect with the shower which was treated later, it would be good if everything in the room is checked properly by the staff. Further, wifi worked for only 1 days and rest of the 2 days it didn’t work, it was disappointing.

We’ve been staying in this palace in the low season and really felt like Maharanis. Every staff member was caring and helpful with whatever we’ve been dealing with. The room was huge and beautiful and clean as was the bathroom. Setting up an additional bed for one night for a friend staying was no problem. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the swimming pool which we were as well allowed to use after check-out, waiting for an overnight train departure. You’ll find little shops and a spa with wonderful massages and even a simply equipped gym -if you feel like it.

Good heritage property, well maintained. Spacious rooms. They even had special cultural program on Dusshera night which was nice.

Food was average, can be improved. They don’t have keep luggage policy which annoyed us a bit as our flight was late and we wanted to go out for lunch and pick up our bags later.

The hotel restaurant is unnecessarily expensive. A can of diet come which is Rs 40 outside, they charge Rs. 200. Similar prices for most food items. Obviously, most guests eat outside or ordered from outside. There were hardly 2 families for dinner which probably decided to eat outside the next day. Famous 'On the Rocks' restaurant is just walkable distance and would be half the price of Ranabaka for dinner. The Ranbaka management should seriously think of restructuring their prices to stay competitive.

The place is quite nice and big … room size of three occupants was pretty good along with terrace which over looked the garden .. pleasant place with nice music festivities in evening .. place is much better then the picture you see..

Food was not up to mark and they can use better pictures as places is way better then pictures provided in booking .com

The property is stunningly beautiful, full of old-world charm from its lush lawns and Rajput-style architecture to the various cultural shows on display every day - the Rajasthani folk musicians were so good we didn’t feel like stepping out at all! The staff was also very friendly, the rooms were comfortable.

The services in the hotel could be improved - room service generally took a while, hot water in the showers was usually dicey, change of water bottles a bit erratic.

The Rajasthani architecture, in red stone, spacious open layout, with a lot of greenery & old trees. The staff is very, efficient, warm & helpful, especially in the Restaurant & housekeeping. Best masala, cheese omelette, ever, gooey with cheese.

The room had a few issues, the TV remote & AC remote didn’t work, nor did the key card. A little fiddling with the batteries sorted the remotes, they provided an emergency key for the door. The breakfast spread & the restaurant menu could have more options.

It’s a place of a cousin brother but he maintains it very well and keep the standards. The staff is good and the shop they have have good and genuine stuff . Food is good
