The location by the river and the property itself is incredible - quiet, in the midst of nature and away from the city. The food was tasty and the chefs were very indulgent with all our requests and treated us to complimentary desserts which was much appreciated. Really liked the intimate evening aarti by the ganges and enjoyed spending leisurely time on the main deck. The head massage offered on the river side was fantastic. Appreciated the late checkout. Overall a great hotel to enjoy the ganges away from the cities.

The superior 'valley view' room description is very misleading and disappointing with all windows opening up to the parking, we could not keep the blinds drawn for lack of privacy making the room claustrophobic. Majority of staff are polite, helpful but definitely not upto usual Taj standards. Very difficult to get service around the property other than the restaurant/bar. One was left wanting a bit more from the stay and service especially given the high tariffs. The property is beautiful but under staffed and under utilized at the moment. Note to front desk: Horrible chocolates given as a 'special gesture' on departure- better not to give anything at all!

The property was in the perfect location along the banks of the Holy river Ganges. The lush gardens were like an oasis which created the atmosphere of relaxation amongst the beauty of nature. The room was large,cleaned daily and very comfortable. the toiletries provided were of a very high standard (forest essential products)The staff were outstanding tending to your every needs. We were totally spoiled by the entire staff for our wedding anniversary by: a bunch of red roses,freshly baked anniversary cake, floral sign across our bed then a bottle of champagne for dinner together with a private table on a private deck with music and another chocolate freshly baked anniversary cake. To top this off everywhere we went on that day, in the resort, the staff would wish us a Happy Anniversary. WOW WOW WOW. I loved the morning yoga sessions by the river and the spa treatments added to the state of rest and relaxation. Spa staff were very friendly and professional. Happy Hour at the bar went for two hours. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

A bit of extra work is required on the communication, price and scope of excursions. Some were too expensive for 2 people.

The rooms were impeccably designed, blending modern amenities with traditional aesthetics. My room had a private balcony that allowed me to enjoy the calming sound of the river – a moment of peace I will cherish forever. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rishikesh.

We did experience some delays with the F&B service during our stay. Meals took a considerable amount of time to arrive, and it wasn’t until we raised a complaint that things improved. The F&B manager personally intervened to ensure better service, and we truly appreciated his proactive approach. He later explained that he had recently joined the team, which helped us understand the situation better. His dedication to addressing the issue left a positive impression.

The most well-thoughts and genuine hospitality experience (It exceeded a 5 star Japanese hospitality service). Other than the four days of great resort experience, there are some special things to mention: 1. Exceptional Check in/out experience: they provided a welcome drink to comfort the nausea feeling after a long trip from the airport. During the check out, they offered a cake while checking out and asking for feedback. And gave a blessing of water by Ganga river as a souvenir to bring back. This warm gesture isn't just protocol as the other 5-7 stars hotels do. It's well-thoughts and empathizes with the travellers sincerely. 2. Culture experience: there is a Ganga's Arrti at the river bank everyday. We got a chance to participate in a ritual and dip in the holy water with a safe, clean condition. The ritual was beautiful. It's the same authenticity as visiting the most famous Ganga Arrti but in a private setting. 3. Activities: we didn't get bored with our stay. We did morning yoga sessions next to the swimming pool and river view every morning. The yoga instructor was very nice. She guided us depending on our condition. There was a very interesting stargazing experience (paid), the guided was very knowledgeable to share a lot of stories. 4. Restaurant was amazing. I tasted all kinds of Indian dishes from north to south. It was very delicious. 5. I especially love the shower gel products. Came to know it's a famous brand for organic beauty care brand.

Only the shower is a bit old. Everything is all great.

Breakfast was good and there was a good selection of items. Service was very good. Staff were very courteous and helpful' The location with the Ganges flowing along the property was superb. Great place to have a quiet holiday with nature surrounding you. For those keen on Adventure sport Rishikesh is the place. Had a very quiet and relaxing 2 nights at the property

Excellent options! Definitely recommend that guests savor local Garhwali cuisine at Ana Rasa during their stay. The Chefs are happy to tailor the spiciness in the dishes. The staff in general were very hospitable.

absolutely love how the hotel is in the middle of so much nature. The staff is also extremely hospitable and accommodating to all guest needs. Loved the private Ganga ghat, infinity swimming pool and the evening snacks session also.

The hotel staff confused and gave us the wrong room on the first day, but after discussion, they gave us the original room that we booked and all was well!

It’s about a 30 minute drive from the hotel into Rishikesh, but worth it to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
