This place is actually a beautiful ashram which does not come accross from the photos, there are so many little extras like a beautiful library, massive yoga room and fantastic stairs right down to the Ganges where there is a very clean and quiet Ghat where one can hang out and relax, lots of cute cafes nearby too. We and our 7-year old really loved our stay here and even extended by one night, the staff were incredibly helpful, we were served three basic but beautiful meals a day plus Chai in the afternoon, fresh water was readily available and every request was tended to quickly. The rooms are also quite basic, do not expect a fancy hotel but still I think they made a great effort that guests are comfortable.

It would have been great to take part in some yoga or meditation classes and our room could have been cleaned a bit better, especially the washroom and balcony.

This place is mesmerizing for people who want to experience the traditional Indian way of life, the breathtaking view of Maa Ganga , private ghat and the interiors each corner thought of, the activities, yoga, meditation , sound healing , Kieran’s in this place, all I can say the vibe of the place is just right. The staff was incredibly responsive, answering all my queries regarding room preferences, river-facing views, and activity bookings. They even assisted with airport transfers and special requests, making the entire process stress-free. Overall, a smooth and professional booking experience that perfectly complemented the serene retreat awaiting me. Highly recommended for anyone planning a stay in Rishikesh! The location of the hotel is amazing as it is literally just off the Ganges river bank which you can access via its own private entrance. Highlight of the stay are the staff...the manager and his assistant are just the loveliest guys we met in India and went over and beyond!

Vedic Dham Ganga is a gem of a retreat .As you enter the premises, you are greeted by the soothing sound of the flowing river Ganga, which adds a mystical touch to the whole experience. It was the best experience of ours.

The location and in-house saatvik food was awesome!! Recommend to book with meals included. The staff was very humble. The ambience was as per its name - Vedic Dhaam. The management can arrange for activity booking also if interested, like rafting, paragliding, bungee jumping.....

There were some mosquito issues. Recommend to carry mosquito repellant lotion or cream. Contact number provided on booking website does not respond. A working number should be put up online.
