A royal experience - palatial rooms and outsized bathrooms, lovely swimming pool, and big grounds. Food prepared by the chef was delicious and authentic. Although located a bit away from Hampi, their reasonable charges for transportation compensate for that. They also have excellent drivers esp. Shankar, who is very reliable and safe on the road.

Around half hour drive to get to Hampi attractions.

Beautiful location in the private park, everything as in 1940s, bathroom was well renovated, very good bed, very clean, park was immaculately maintained as well as the house, very nice restaurant, very quiet at night. Very nice and helpful staff.

Locks on the outside of each room door - surely historic, but room can be locked from the outside with no way to escape the room in case of emergency as the windows have iron rods as well.

Breakfast was very tasty. Homely. Services excellent. Fresh fruits, nicely cooked food, the Ginger Tea smoothened our throat. Room service was very quick. The quality of food is awesome. Nice museum. Highly knowledgeable and helpful Manager Mr. Joseph. Very efficient Front Desk Manager Ms. Tejaswini. The entire staff are affable. Nicely kept garden. Variety of Birds sighted. It is a good place for Botanists to learn more about exotic and local species. The proud thing is the State Tree of Karnataka, Sandalwood Trees - santalum album - are naturally grown. An idyllic place for stay and enjoy.

Staff were very friendly and very accommodating to our needs (use of bikes, early check in, late check out), all very appreciated Hotel is lovely, a bit tired but good value for the price paid. Nice to relax by the large pool, excellent for a swim Gym has limited equipment but all new, quality kit in a big space.

Some areas that don’t get used very often are a bit neglected and not cleaned. Not much else

Staying in this palace was the best decision of our trip. We were able to take a breather here after an intense trip. Amazing spaces, picturesque terraces, excellent service. We were also offered to use the palace's steam bath for free. I recommend it!

The location is like none other, an actual royal palace and it shows. Lovingly preserved. The rooms are superb, the pool is large and clean, the staff are courteous and efficient.

The dining hall has a TV which increases the noise level in a way that hotels at this level should not have. If they want a sports bar, they can have that in the bar, not in the dining restaurant.

The welcome and overall attention to detail. You are staying in a real palace. The uniformed staff attend to ensure your stay is very comfortable.

The bed linen. Prefer it to be a 100% cotton.

The Manager was extremely humble & hands on whenever we needed anything. He showed us the palace & made sure our stay was comfortable. The food was excellent & served hot and as per our liking. We are in love with this place & will surely visit again.

Fabulous staff - attentive and helpful. Superb driver/guide who was extremely knowledgeable.

It’s a heritage hotel and could enjoy some renovations especially the bathroom.

Heritage property with good food and an experience with royal touch. Perfect location between Kumaraswami Temple, Narihala river view point and Hampi.
