What an amazing find ! A jewel in the Indian crown ! We visited off season so the hotel v quiet but that meant we had a five star experience! Nothing too much trouble. They kept in touch over WhatsApp for anything we needed and treated us to a free room upgrade on arrival . The pool was clean and crystal clear. The food was fresh tasty and hot. With a very wide variety. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. It was a real top quality experience and we wish we had stayed longer

The staff takes the cake! Our server Ajay (lean with a mustache) was attentive, patient and really helpful. On our request, he went out of his way and arranged a simple breakfast for our son for the morning safari as the hotel doesn't pack one. The food was great, dinner buffet, a la carte and breakfast buffet were all really good. The head chef is newly appointed and he made it a point to come and meet the guests and personally take feedback. The fruit custard served on one of the dinner buffets was really yum! We had packed food from restaurant for our train journey back home and the servers ensured that our food was packed well. We had checked out in the morning and kept our bags at reception and went for afternoon safari. When we came back, the staff encouraged us to have the complimentary high tea and snacks. This is hospitality! The reception staff was equally good and helpful. We had reached earlier then our check in time, and they offered a room to us to rest until our allotted room got ready. Room 102 has issues with the bathroom and the staff promptly changed it for us to room 104. The housekeeping staff was prompt as well and immediately knocked on our door with requested supplies. The property is well maintained and their pool is really good. Baby pool and bigger pool both are well maintained and connected. We even did star gazing which the property offers at additional cost. You can bargain here for sure, but its a good deal, if going with kids. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would love to go here again for the hospitality.

Our stay at Juna Mahal, Ranthambore, was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm welcome drinks and a delightful surprise room upgrade, setting the tone for a memorable experience. The included breakfast was also a highlight, offering a delicious and varied selection. However, the true gem of Juna Mahal is its staff. Their kindness, politeness, and unwavering helpfulness were remarkable. They went above and beyond, even taking the initiative to clean our car, which had become dusty during our travels. The thoughtful service continued with early morning preparations for our safari. We were provided with water, coffee, and fresh fruits, ensuring we were well-prepared for the adventure. Upon our return, we were treated to delicious evening snacks, a perfect way to unwind after the safari. The evenings at Juna Mahal were simply magical. Swimming under the clear, star-filled sky, accompanied by live folk music, created a truly mesmerizing and unforgettable atmosphere. It was a truly unique experience. Juna Mahal offers not just a stay, but a complete and heartfelt experience, thanks to its wonderful staff and thoughtful touches.

The Indian dinner and lunch options can be improved, especially the dessert options.

The courteous and accommodating nature of the staff. Particularly to mention the politeness of Sri Manohar Singh, front desk manager. My mother had an issue with climbing stairs due to a temporary medical condition, and Manohar, despite the hotel being almost fully occupied, upgraded us to rooms on the ground floor. Had a comfortable stay, enjoyed the special performance by local artists on the premises that evening, and also indulged in bursting crackers along with other guests. It was Diwali time. Recommend this place for visitors to Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve.

The Juna Mahal is very nice and clean. It looks just like the photos. It has a lovely heritage/fort/Alhambra feel. The property is well-located in a quiet area of Ranthambore very close to the entrance of the National Park. It is not on the chaotic part of Ranthambore Road. The air around the property is not smokey. The landscaping is nice. The pool is lovely and clean. Even though it was cold in December, my sons took a cold plunge in it. There is no gym. There are multiple roof decks that are great for creating your own workout (which my sons did). The property has its own store selling handmade fabrics that can be made into clothes and other souvenirs. There are tons of people available to help you, and they do every and anything that you would like. The service in the dining room is very good and friendly. The rooms are very clean and are cleaned promptly when you leave the property. The rooms are large with good windows. Comfortable beds. In my room, there were two twins together creating a large bed that fit my husband and me and our eight year old comfortably. There is a sitting area with coffee table, desk, an additional love seat, TV, refrigerator and a couple of extra side tables. We went in cold December , and there was a portable heater. The bathroom had a large shower with good heat and water pressure. There was a double sink counter. My three adult sons stayed in another room each with their own bed. One slept in the big bed, one slept in the window bed space, and one slept in a bed that was brought in. There was also a sitting area with coffee table, and a large bathroom. They had a portable heater, too. We paid for breakfast and dinner, and it was very good. The service was exceptional. The dining room had hardly anyone it in besides us, which felt a little lonely, though.

Part of the "charm" were these heavy oak doors with heavy locks that could be a fire hazard if someone inadvertently locks you into your room (which anyone passing by could do). If you're looking for a Westin-type US-style chain hotel, this is not it. But if you want a place that is clean and has charm and where the staff are very accommodating to your schedule, this is a very good place.

Beautiful, characterful building with some stunning furniture, fixtures and fittings. The fresco in the reception is a highlight. The staff were excellent on the whole, and the chai and biscuits set out for the early morning safari goers is a genuinely luxurious detail. Large rooms, plenty of beautiful marble and the pool was stunning. I would definitely stay here again.

Only a few minor things I think I would have changed. I think the western breakfast options could have been better (as much as I love Indian food, I find it hard to stomach first thing in the morning). The only other thing is there not being a better interface with booking/ transport for the safaris - it seems bizarre not to have an agreement with the safari to ensure they can offer pickup/dropoff to the hotel - or to offer a hotel service for this. Booking safaris direct for foreigners is also difficult so if the hotel were able to facilitate this on the behalf of guests is would improve the experience hugely.

I visited this property in Nov 2024. Here are my views. 1. Amazing mix of shekhawati and Italian architecture. 2. The pool area was mind-blowing with amazing architectural design. 2. Balconies in the rooms have been designed very aesthetically. You can sit there for hours admiring the natural beauty. 3. To my surprise the food is very affordable here and the staff is very courteous and humble. 4. Amazing terrace where you can do star gazing at night with your friends group. 5. Rooms are very spacious with maharaja style antiques and furniture. 5. Extra large bathroom with his & her basin area. 6. I enjoyed every bit of it. Not expensive with the facilities it provided as compared to other resorts in Ranthambore.

When my daughter and I arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Singh at the reception. His beautifully styled mustache was hard to miss, and his courteous demeanor immediately put us at ease. He efficiently guided us through the check-in process, and to our surprise, he quietly upgraded us to the exclusive Kumbha Villa Suite, keeping it a delightful secret. As we entered the room, the sight took our breath away. The private pool shimmering in the soft afternoon light made the space feel even more luxurious. My daughter was completely overwhelmed with excitement, her eyes lighting up as she ran to explore every corner. The day only got better with a sumptuous meal—each dish was delicious and full of authentic flavors. Later in the evening, we were treated to a captivating folk dance performance that added a perfect cultural touch to our stay. The rhythm of the music, the colorful costumes, and the energetic moves created an unforgettable experience. It truly made our stay magical from start to finish.

We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite with terrace which was lovely. The food was excellent and the service was great. Very clean and comfortable room.

The pool area could do with more attention, and cleaning. The hotel let us use the pool at the pool villa which was a nice gesture and our little girl was very happy. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay.
