Veda5 is an absolute hidden gem of a place in Thrissur, Kerala. The overall vibe of the place is purpose built for relaxing, unwinding and getting rid of stress 1. The rooms are super, very spacious and spanking clean. The ensuite bathrooms are huge and again very clean and modern. Fans, air-conditioning, comfy beds, spacious wardrobe, TV in the room, comfy chairs, and desk / chair. There are even hanging chairs outside the room where I sat and worked remotely. 2. The dining room is beautiful with meals served three times a day. Breakfast is included in the price, however, lunch and dinner is additional though charges felt fair and nominal. The spread is extremely wide and flavourful. I am usually a strict non vegetarian but I made an exception for Veda5 and I didn't regret. Overall, food was delicious and properly satvik. 3. The access to the beach is private and simple with a space next to the beach that is totally private with hammocks and an open hall for yoga, evening tea, relaxation and lounging around. The beach itself is quiet with not many people even at busy times, which is rare. Swimming is possible as the sea appeared calm most of the times. If one wakes up in the morning and goes for a stroll you can sit for hours and view the fishermen coming back and providing hauls of local fish at the fish market. 4. The massage and Ayurvedic treatment facilities are great for all kinds of needs from just straightforward relaxation to more complex treatments and there is a resident doctor available to discuss and advise as required. The treatments happen on time and they maintain a busy schedule throughout the day. The therapists are extremely diligent and friendly and take a lot of care. 5. The day trips offered are also great and the drivers they tie up with are courteous, friendly, and helpful. 6. The best part my partner enjoyed was the Yoga practices in the morning and evening (i was pulled into one of them in the morning and enjoyed it). 7.

The WiFi while available, fluctuated during the day. While this is not directly about the venue and more on the telecom/broadband provider, I think the WiFi connectivity could be made more stable. Something to bear in mind for digital nomads who are planning to arrive here and work. Although, this venue is made for relaxing and unwinding and not for workaholics!

Stunning welcome, people, location, food, treatments. Just wonderful!

Our room was located in front of the workshop and with the new busy season coming up there were lots of noise, workmen, decorators builders around us. I guess there’s no good time to do such work but it was disappointing. Our AC was broken on arrival so it was a difficult 2 days while we had to vacate our room but it got sorted and the team were so lovely to us.

This is an ideal place to slow down, escape from the world, be closer to the nature and improve your health. I would like especially to mark great location exactly at the ocean with empty beach & amazing friendly hotel staff. Despite there is no bars, shops & restaurants near by (just the nice local village & the ocean) you will not be bored as hotel provides a lot of diff activities: yoga 2 times a day, meditation class in the evening, spa, massage & ayurvedic procedures as well as bike rental, badminton, table games and book library. Definitely will come back one day)

My second time here and I love the staff, everyone is so warm and friendly. The yoga is amazing and the food is some of the best I’ve eaten. This place is a secluded little gem. If you’re looking for a peaceful , calm getaway to relax and focus on your health and happiness then it doesn’t get better than this!

Loved each & everything about the place and words are not enough to describe.Wish I had wings to fly so as to reach there at will.

Could not find anything to dislike

The food was really good. The ambience, the area and the beach are beautiful. The staff is helpful and friendly. The view from the room was nice.

The windows were not clean so the view from the room was a little bit ruined.

What can you expect from a property which is bang opposite a beach !! Veda5 indeed. The check-in process was seamless. Loved the way we were welcomed. The rooms are quite big and airy, it was also well cleaned. The bed was comfortable. Food was pure veg- Satvik food. The treatment (massage) was also good. There were regular Yoga classes. Almost everyone at the property was full of smiles and this made the stay very pleasant. We will be visiting Veda5 frequently.

The price for one plate of food was Rs. 400/- which can be termed as a bit pricey looking at the options. They can reduce this to Rs. 150/- or 200/- and it would make sense.

Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner for taste, variety and food value.

Choppy sea and waves. Wish water was calm and clear.

One of the best stay to spend some time in peace and nature. Really love the over all vibe. Highly recommended for family or couples
