I stayed there for 3 nights and I can say that I was quite satisfied with my stay. The hotel rooms were just like shown in the pictures and quality of the service was up to the mark. Things which I liked about this place- ● Prompt service ●Spacious and clean rooms ●Courteous staff ●The food at their in-house restaurant ●High speed wi-fi ● Other services like paid airport pick and drop services, taxi for sightseeing etc. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us to book boat rides for the ghats too. (The nearest ghat from this hotel is Dhashwamedh ghat which is within a 10 kms radius)

Despite the many things that I liked about this place, one thing which I think the hotel could have avoided is too much noise especially past midnight. Due to some construction work going at their hotel, there was too much noise going on in the ground floor of the hotel which was very very annoying. We had to call the reception to make it stop otherwise it was impossible to sleep. However upon complaining about this issue, they quickly resolved it.

The friendliness of the staff. In the lobby, the receptionists were very keen to answer all my questions and make my stay as comfortable as possible. In the restaurant, staff spoke basic English, which I appreciated as they worked to provide an enjoyable meal, which it was. Food is excellent with many non-spicy options. The location is great, although far from the ghats, as it is near a lake and a garden which makes it a quiet place to stay to have a break from honking vehicles in the street. Overall, one of my best stays in India.

Probably, and ironically, also the location, far from the ghats, 15-20 min walk, but not a major issue.

Friendly efficient and and even the food we had in the night was excellent; car arrangement to airport / pick up from airport, drive to Ayodhya all were top class - the staff were courteous and nice to deal with

They don't clean the bathroom and the floor on daily basis; one day stay fine as we don't need the place to be cleaned, for the 2nd day despite reminding the cleaning was not done - except for bed made up

Hotel Ananda Kashi was an oasis of calm in Varanasi. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nicer than hotels that cost twice as much. The bathroom and linens were clean. The location is within 15 minutes of the most famous temple and some great street food.

The WiFi was not working when I was there.

The hotel seems to be newly built or renovated. Front desk staff was very helpful. Car can go very close to the front desk, so good for elderly people.

Staff need to be trained. Poor housekeeping, surround location is not good, especially hygiene wise.

Nice place away from the noise of the centre of the city. Nice room with a big bathroom.

The breakfast is Indian style and it is hard to find some continental food; only toasts with jam and butter. It is far from the Ghats and the river.

Cooperative staff, pretty clean, good service, food was very reasonably priced...they accommodated us for a little extra time beyond the check out time..

They charged me for early check in... though I had mentioned that we would reach by 7.00am. Seems more a communication gap between bookings.com and the hotel..

Good value for money. Clean hotel, good location, good hotel restaurant (with affordable prices). The staff was very helpful and helped me to arrange transportation to Sarnath and elsewhere.

The property was absolutely great in terms of accessibility to the ghats and temples. Spacious rooms and clean friendly environment.
