Amritsar made our stay Banaras really special. The location, ambience and service of the hotel is amazing and the behaviour of the staff is outstanding. Thanks to Hussain hi for making our stay so comfortable and addressing all our requests. The service team including Brijesh, Sandeep, Kuldeep was always ready to help with a smile on their face. The housekeeping team including Fayyaz, Dilip was really good. The river view terrace and the vintage Haveli ambience makes and the stay special. The hotel arranged for a local guide Vishal who made our Mandira darshan very special without any hassle. He stayed with us one whole day and made sure to address all our wishes including darshan, attraction visits, food and safer shopping. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so special.

Everything was good

Exceptional staff, a fantastic location, and an outstanding chef made my stay truly memorable. I spent two days here with my wife and parents, booking two river-facing rooms that offered breathtaking views. The accommodations were modern and equipped with all essential amenities. The staff’s hospitality was remarkable—courteous and attentive throughout. The manager, Mr. Anup (forgive me if I misremember the name), shared invaluable insights into the significance of visiting Kashi. Mr. Husain was incredibly supportive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Brijesh, Krishna, and Kuldeep provided prompt and warm service, making the experience even more special. A huge appreciation to Chef Sachin, whose culinary skills delighted us all—even earning my mother’s praise! This place perfectly captures the essence of Kashi, making it the ideal retreat for anyone looking to immerse themselves in its charm. I will definitely return with my family!

This location is truly amazing; the building is reminiscent of a bygone era and is situated adjacent to the Ganges River. It was my second visit to this hotel in my last two consecutive trips to Varanasi; this itself speaks volumes.  In light of our group of eight individuals, ages 12 to 80, from the UK, USA, and India, Mr. Uday's team was fabulous, very kind, considerate, and welcoming. I came with my entire family. The hotel room with a Ganga view is amazing; the rooms were clean and tidy, the breakfast was great, and the in-house restaurant was very nice. The whole experience was great. Thank you, Mr. Uday and the team.

Our stay could not have been better-this hotel is a true gem by the Ganges! From the moment we arrived by boat, the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The location is absolutely perfect, offering superb views of the river and easy access to all the local attractions, This hotel thought of everything to make our stay unforgettable. On our first evening, we were lucky enough to witness one of the mesmerizing night ceremonies, an experience made even more special by the seamless arrangements from the hotel, returning afterward for dinner felt like the perfect end to the day The room was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and free from any issues, providing a great escape from the chaos of horns and traffic outside. Once inside, it felt like a tranquil haven, ans was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration, Thankyou team, you really made us feel special.

Excellent service, great food, friendly staff and best of all the location. Very convenient to get to the ghats/river.

Breakfast was fine, I have had better. there wasn't selection of fruit juices and I do not think it was freshly squeezed. You were offered the drink by waiter. Poor selection of fresh fruit not cut up. No apples. Location great on the ghats but access difficult. Hotel said when I left that on arrival they would have sent porter to collect luggage but I was not informed prior to arrival. My guide dragged my luggage over the difficult terrain not good for the suitcase.

Knowledge of activities offered by hotel. I only found out about the hotel boat because guide enquired at desk. There might have been other activities in the hotel. I saw various people having drinks in the courtyard which seemed like a drinks reception.

Great locations with comfortable beds and friendly helpful staff

Location was fabulous. On the ghat with a private entrance to the ghat steps . Walking distance from Assi Ghat , Sankat Mochan temple . We even walked along the ghats to Kashivishwanath temple and Manikarnika Ghat . Staff was extremely polite and well behaved. Property was kept meticulously clean

No balconies to the rooms . Ganga facing rooms also had a very small window. Pillows in the room were hard and impossibly thick which made sleep uncomfortable.

Located by the Ganges on the Ghat as described and best accessed by boat. The ghats are unkempt and water/ air was more polluted than we expected. The hotel is small with roughly 15 rooms, restaurant on site has good vegetarian food. They have evening tea and free evening boat ride to the Aarti. They also have classical music performers every evening. The staff is plentiful and mostly courteous.

Access to the hotel can be very problematic for elderly guests.
