The location is very quiet which suits me well since I would like to recover from stress. The swimming pool is sufficient for me since I just want to relax, enjoying the vibe. The place is also free of mosquito and caterpillar which is wonderful, considering it was the season for these insects to flourish. The room is quite spacious though next time, I would love to try other room type as well. The accomodation is family owned. The staff are all very nice, housekeeping are superb, and the owner is taking charge at the restaurant. The food there is really good at an affordable price. Taking a step outside, there are a range of local food stalls that you can try. Some already open since 5am and some in the evening. From nasi jinggo, pork satay, yellow rice, and jajan pasar, can be found there. Around the corner there are 2 convenient store in case amenities or medicine is needed. Overall, my 32 nights have been wonderful, no complaints for me! Would love to come back here again 😁

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I lost my luggage at the airport and they were helpful in contacting them and coordinating the delivery.

There were some ants but that's typical Bali. The doors of the deluxe room are thin so if people are smoking outside and talking, can get smelly and annoying at night.

If you are looking for the best quality/price on a budget in Bali while you arrive in Bali, this place is definitely for you ! It’s clean, the room is very nice, the personnel is amazing and the pool is very relaxing and well maintained :D Trust me I have tried a lot and a lot of hotel and guest houses in Bali and I can tell you how hard it is to find a clean place to stay for a long term stay (nowadays, even the more expensive places cannot be at our standard of cleanliness). Also, ask for a room upstairs so you can enjoy the most wonderful sunset I ever saw in Bali lazing on your balcony.

The kitchenette could be a be more equipped, but it’s really easy to eat outside or order Grab food during your stay, so it’s not a problem :)

The hosts were our favorite part about this property. They were willing to accommodate and around to help. The breakfast was good, there location was quite.

The facilities were more outdated that expected. The AC unit didn’t seem like it could keep up, and the bathroom was extremely hot and humid. When they cleaned our room they shut off our AC as well so after getting back it was very warm in our room all over again.

The property is well managed! Lovely and cozy hotel. All staff are super welcoming and friendly. Great communication between the staff, all needs of the guest were well-taken care of. The bed is comfortable, clean and soft bed linens, everyday house keeping. Away from main roads, quiet environments.

Everything was perfect just the location was 10-15 mins to the city area. Closer to local residence.

There was not much to dislike about this property… the facilities, staff and rooms were all top notch and very worth the price. My wife and I originally stayed here for one night before going to Komodo, but we liked it so much that we decided to book another two nights following our trip to Komodo. The location is on a side street off a busy road in Denpasar. It was surprisingly quiet and relaxing and you couldn’t hear too much of the road noise, even when relaxing out by the pool throughout the day. The property has a relaxing and laid back vibe centered around a beautiful pool. There is a delicious restaurant on site that my wife and I enjoyed very much. We ate multiple meals there and did not have a disappointing one. If you like local warungs/food there are plenty of options in the surrounding neighborhood within a 10 min walk, but not many western options, which we were perfectly fine with. The room was very spacious and well laid out with a desk, small kitchenette and good size wardrobe. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff came to clean each day, keeping the room very fresh. There is a television that actually works but with few English channels. The air conditioning was superb and cooled the room very fast. The WiFi was much better in one of our rooms than the other room (was not really able to stream in the Deluxe room 01 and had to go on the porch for a decent signal. There was always hot water in the shower. The staff was extremely kind and made you feel taken care of. They always have a smile on their faces and helped out with all requests. They have scooters for rent for 80,000 per day, which is most likely needed in this area if you plan to do any site seeing. As mentioned before, they also make delicious food which can be ordered to the room. Overall we had a great stay here and felt relaxed and at home. Great value for your money. We would highly recommend this accommodation to all.

It was the best accommodation of my life so far. The owners, the staff, are simply adorable. Immeasurable kindness, openness, respect. Thank you for all the smiles, thank you for everything. The accommodation is amazingly cozy. We felt at home. They have a warung where divine flavors and friendly service await everyone. The garden and the pool simply impressed us. Spacious room, cleanliness, daily cleaning... Everything was in perfect order. The place is highly recommended. We'll be back soon!

Very clean and cute place, the food is good and the street quiet (except the chicken but it’s bali anyway 😅) The staff is lovely and you can rent scooter at very good Price !

The food was amazing, the staff were amazing, and the pool was so lovely. They offered scooter rentals as well for a good price! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Mailaku house, a little slice of heaven.

I recommend getting a bungalow or upstairs room so no one is over you but I just dislike hearing people above me.

I loved this place. We stayed in the wooden house. It's very spacious, and loved the bathroom and kitchette area too. The staff were amazing and very helpful. This place also serves dinner, that was a plus for us as we arrived abit late but just in time to order dinner 😉.
