The hotel’s clean, proper & comfortable. We’re assigned to the room that’s very near to the elevator which is convenient for our elderly mother. Rain shower’s superb! What’s amazing is the hotel staff who’s not just hospitable & friendly but very helpful. Especially the one man (i didnt get the name) who helped us with the luggages. He’s so kind & was so helpful & even offered to help exchange ferry tickets for us (we didn’t want to trouble him in the end since the exchange place was just around the corner). Overall, what made our stay special was really the staff & we’ll definitely return.

The room lights were a little dim & the breakfast area was so overcrowded that we couldn’t get seats. Thankfully we’re offered lounge access (but most food’s gone & replenishing took time)

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Annisa, Raka, Sally and Mr. Lee took good care of us at the Goji restaurant. I have forgotten some names, but there was not a single person who was not friendly. The musicians at Goji were very good too. They accommodated our requests quickly, and played wonderfully well (the keyboard player, the sax player, the guitar player, and the lady singer). The location of the hotel is also excellent.

The rooms did not have strong glass windows, as a result of which we could hear loudspeakers early in the morning, and other sounds of people celebrating at night. The air-conditioning unit also cut off constantly at night, creating noise and fluctuations in room temperature

we had our order mix up at Goji during dinner, but i would like to applaud the staff for their service recovery and patience. I would like to give my special compliment to their manager as he was extremely cool, apologetic and polite about ensuring we get what we need. Unfortunately, we didn't get his name, but he is a local, around 170cm. The hotel is blessed to have him and his team.

breakfast queue during peak period could be better managed as there was no single queue system. A few staff were taking seat request at the same time, which means it depends on your luck if you get your seat first.

Everything is great! The hotel is just above the Harbour Bay, very convenient. Room is spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable. Swimming pool is clean with nice sea view especially during 4-6pm. On top of that, the hotel staff are the best. They very helpful and efficient, especially Kevin who made our stay at the hotel very enjoyable. He was very patient in answering our questions, recommending food in Batam and explaining the culture and religion. He introduced us to the restaurant's chef Dinar, who personally prepared for us a unique Batam local cuisine Ketupat (traditional rice cake), rendang sapi (beef rendang), sambal goreng hati (fried potota with chicken liver), absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! We’ll come back again.

I loved the well-mannered staff ... they greet you using your name. They remember each guest and served us exceptionally well. The cleanliness of the place is amazing. Food for breakfast was incredibly good. Room was very clean. I did not travel anywhere else as the nearby shopping mall was good enough. It is so close to the ferry terminal just a few walking steps away.

Service at the Rooftop Altitude could have more competent servers. I had to remind them several times that i was entitled to complimentary cocktails. Service was slow (but food was good)

I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful arrangements made during our stay. The decorations in our room and the thoughtful message written warmed our hearts. It is clear that your team goes above and beyond to make guests feel special, and we deeply appreciate the effort and care put into making our stay so delightful. Additionally, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast! The variety of food options was impressive, and everything we tried was delicious. As someone who enjoys spicy food, I must highlight how much I loved the sambal – it was absolutely flavorful and added an extra kick to my meal. Thank you once again for the exceptional hospitality and the attention to detail that made our stay so enjoyable. This experience will remain a cherished memory for us, and we look forward to visiting your hotel again in the future.

It would be great if it was clearly stated whether the room includes a bathtub. I may have overlooked the details, but I was under the impression that a bathtub was available. I even brought along a bath bomb, but unfortunately, the room I stayed in only had a shower and toilet.

The breakfast provides a lot of varieties of food, but the local dessert with the kwehs can definitely be better. The hotel staff are all very friendly and nice. We love the hotel facilities with nice spa, gym and nice pools. I especially like the altitude rooftop bar with nice ambience and scenery. Generally, I would recommend to stay in this hotel comparing to other 3 that I previously stayed in Batam

One annoying thing is the noisy crows at the pools due to uncleanliness of the ferry harbour.

Shower head pressure was inconsistent water also changes temperature very quickly Room was extremely cold despite our best efforts to lower it

Staff are polite Room service food taste better and less salty then the first visit Buffet breakfast was good. Dinar noted that my mum could not eat spicy food and hence fried the mee goreng again without chilli Facilities such as pool and gym are well maintained

Some additional things that could make the stay better - Could have implement more recreational things such as pool table/table tennis table - Make room TV smarter with Netflix/smart share - Can implement different types of pillow to suit clients taste

The breakfast spread is awesome! Compared to other hotels, Marriott offers the biggest variety. The staff at the restaurant always provide excellent service. Great job, keep it up!

The breakfast menu should be changed at least every year or two. For regular guests who stay at the hotel, after a couple of months or years, it feels repetitive since the menu stays the same. The only change I’ve noticed is in the mini bar—used to have chocolate in the fridge, but now it's no longer provided. I wonder why?
