I had an amazing 4D3N stay at Yello Hotel! I arrived early and requested an early check-in if a room was available. The staff went the extra mile to arrange not only an early check-in but also a connecting room for me, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel provides two drinking bottles, and we could easily refill them at the water dispenser located just outside our rooms. The rooms were spotless, including the toilets, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The area was peaceful, allowing me to enjoy a restful sleep every night. The hotel lobby has a cozy seating area where guests can relax and chat while my boys had fun playing PS5 for free. We also tried the hotel breakfast, and the buffet offered a great variety that my whole family enjoyed. The location is convenient, just an 8-minute walk to and from the ferry terminal. If you prefer not to travel to Kelong for seafood, there are several dining options nearby. Right across from Yello Hotel is a Chinese seafood restaurant, while to the left, you'll find a Western restaurant and a halal seafood restaurant. Additionally, the area has a hair salon offering pedicure and manicure services, a money changer, a durian shop, a convenience store, and a morning bakery selling delicious bread and food. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

I stayed on the 11th floor, directly below the event room. In the evening, there was an event going on and I could clearly hear the loud singing and music from my room.

It is located close to the harbour, walkable from Nagoya Hill Mall and surrounded by other shops. Room was very clean and modern. The view on the strait from upstairs is amazing, and the barmen helped us to make nice pictures. And the doorkeeper explained about Grab application to move around. Cold idea to refill the bottles with water.

During second night the card used for electricity started to give problems and we had to touch it everytime the electricity disappeared. It was annoying because of the sound and we were worried because of charging phones (constantly switching between charging/not charging is not healthy for phones).

Very colourful vibes and near to a lot of places of interest. Love the graffiti style in many venue.

1) Iron is being shared to many rooms hence a lot of waiting time. Iron also leaks water when doing the ironing of clothes. Best to bring personal iron. 2) Breakfast is limited when we came early. The service is slow as 1 staff was cooking the indomie and eggs alone. It will be great to either just cook one pot and place as a buffet platter instead of live cooking station or more staff to handle the station.

Games facility at the lobby is complimentary. Limited though so catch it if you see there's noone. Few games in the ps5 but we can't be choosy! Hotel is new, so the interior and room furnishing is amazing. Rooms were clean, kettle and toilet were new and sparkly! Go to the 12th floor if you have time, View of the harbour is fantastic too. Service staffs were friendly and very helpful, love the free upgrade too 😉

Sound isolation can be way better. Can hear kids screaming and unfortunately staffs yelling instructions to each other. (you can't control guests but housekeeping can pay attention to the volumes)

The location of the hotel was very convenient, a short 10 min walk or 3 min car ride to Harbour Bay Ferry terminal. There were many convenience stores and eateries downstairs. The staff were very friendly and that made my stay even more enjoyable. They even allowed me to extend my check out time which I was very grateful for. The room was spacious and even had a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube installed in it. Definitely looking forward to staying there again for my next trip!

The only complain I have is that there is only one mirror in the room and it’s in the toilet. It would be more ideal to have another mirror installed somewhere in the room.

Not soundproofed and weird noises coming from L11? Like something keeps dropping and tapping on floor or wall during middle of the night. Water pressure is also uneven. Sometimes big, sometimes small. Difficult to adjust to the right temperature. One minute very hot, the other minute lukewarm.

Stayed 5Jul to 7Jul 24 twin room. Very beautiful hotel - bright yellow color theme. Room wall picture well painted yellow - really beautiful. Spacious toilet. Mr Vincent, the Front Desk Manager, is an excellent guy, very friendly and helpful, providing good information about Yello Hotel and Batam. From the doorman to housekeeping and not forgeting the restaurant crews are all friendly and they serve with a smile.

Toilet kerb too shallow so when bathing water sip out and wet the entire toilet.

Yello! Getting to hotel & checking in was a breeze. Good location near ferry terminal. Minutes to anywhere with GRAB service. Staffs were friendly & accommodating. Always service with a smile! Rooms & toilet were spacious, comfy & super clean. Breakfast was awesome! We were a very big family 24 of us, appreciate the extra mile offered by hotel to shuttle us to ferry terminal upon checked out. Thank you so much! Won't be our last See you soon YELLO!

Everything was AWESOME!

Staff were super friendly, everything was super clean. Was difficult to find a family room for booking so Yello definitely have the heads up over their competition just bec of that one fact that they have a family room. More hotels in Batam need to have rooms catered to family at reasonable cost. Families tend to like spending vacation time together and that's difficult to do when in separate rooms.

Rubbish along the waterfront, where the seafood restaurants are located. But that's not the Yello hotel's fault.
