I want to write a more detailed review later, but I must say the newness of the entire hotel was such a joy to experience, and the breakfast was divine! Staff were great, so happy I stayed there. I must add some photos soon too but see it with your own eyes! Ibis Styles did a lovely job – and please visit the restaurant upstairs! Great staff, food also, lovely variety : very pleased, this sets a good standard for some international hotels in Indonesia!

People who smoked cigarettes in some rooms (but the staff helped me relocate), the open bathroom vents and this issue can be fixed with a smoke alarm next to this vent in the non-smoker rooms.

Comfortable beds and clean toilets. They offer free shuttle service to certain malls. however, do inform in advance to reserve your slot and it is only 1 way drop off only. The location is good, get to majority of the popular malls and attraction within 20mins or less .

There's no nearby mini Mart/convenience stores but there's a vending machine at the lobby , limited options but you could just order grab delivery if you are feeling hungry.

It is a surprise discovery for me to stay at Ibis Style. I often stays at Aston Gideon Inn, Nagoya as it was a convenient place albeit its basic for the room comfort but they hv excellent breakfast. This time I booked 3 rooms at Ibis for $333. Aston Gideon Inn quoted me $500 for 2 rooms because of the peaked period which is 5 times the normal. Hence my choice for Ibis. And what a surprise. It's neat, beautifully on top of the hill, ample space, very comfortable bedding which is the signature of all Ibis. And a great breakfast spread. From now on, I shall stay at Ibis Style.

There should be at least a hand soap. I realised that people have complained too. I hv to bring my own or buy one.

Check in process is smooth. Decent breakfast included in room rates so that's good. Location is a little bit out of the Nagoya area but there are free shuttle services provided and booking a Grab is very easy. Beds and pillows are clean and comfortable for a good night's rest. Hotel location is quite for peaceful sleep at night. In-room dining food is amazing!!

Rooms are clean but non-smoking rooms can have cigarette smells from time to time (centralised aircon system and inconsiderate guests) Bathroom towels smell a bit weird, would be good if they changed the detergent or laundry process.

The mattress and pillow are quite good. The hotel comes with pool and gym and easy to access. The location is near to town area within 10 minutes drive and shutter bus is provided. The breakfast needs more options.

Saw few stains on the sofa, chair and cups. The TV only got few Malaysia/Singapore or local channels, not much blockbuster movies. Hopefully it can be improved.

I like the location. It’s in the middle between Nagoya and Bengkong. So you are far from the noisy busy area but near to those attraction places. It’s good. Near to anywhere you should visit if you are new to visit Batam. The sky bar is nice. Very high and considered as highest bar there. Nice ambiance and music.

It’s weird. I never stay with Ibis Style before and not sure about the brand standard. Not sure if cos of I’m booking from Booking.com or what. My room is without face towel and hand towel. Only given 1 set of toothbrush and toothpaste. No soap given but only the soap tray displayed. Sky bar’s cocktail is not good. Though it’s cheap but no alcohol taste at all.

The room was very spacious and floor was clean. International sockets available.

The rain shower took quite a long time to heat up. The bedsheets have stains. Aircon was centralised and couldn’t be adjusted properly. It takes a while for the aircon to load and set up too! Location was a little far off from the central.

Staffs very friendly. FOM Pratama was very helpful and we had a very good chat. Breakfast have good spread but some dishes a bit salty.

Mini fridge not working. Shower gel not top up. Bed sheet has stain. Pillow with black stain. AC not cold even i adjust to 20 degree celsius.

Most Facilities and Staff were Excellent. Room was large modern interior. Free Shuttle to Malls is a Plus. Breakfast was good but should change daily menu. Peaceful if room not facing Roadside.

Initial room was facing roadside, hence Noisy till late. Pool Water was alittle dirty, small and shallow, therefore many kids playing there. Internet was so slow. A little isolated on a Hill.

Nice, clean room. I like the fact that the room is not carpeted. Room size is big and very comfortable.

Breakfast spread was acceptable but not great! Service of staff serving at restaurant can be improved. They are not as friendly and helpful compared to staff at the reception. Also, they allowed other persons queueing behind me to be served first (at the egg counter).
