The staff, the pool and the vibe at night here is absolutely beautiful, the bedrooms are spotless, and it’s in the most beautiful part of Canngu with a short stroll down at the end of the street to my favourite cafe “kumbali” which serves the most amazing food and so cheap. It also has amazing barber shop “alessandro barber” within walking distance and an amazing massage shop Anne day spa just down the road.

The whole accomodation was beautifully decorated, everything almost had like an Ibiza type of feel. They had 2 pools, but only one “main” pool, the other one looks like it’s for decoration since nobody uses it. Beautiful rooms and an okay bathroom. The shower could use some work, seems a bit outdated and rusty. The staff was very friendly, helping us with everything we needed.

The photos of the pool area are old, the view is blocked by construction unfortunately. So if you’re booking it for the views of the ricefield, look elsewhere. The location is a bit far from Canggu but with a motorbike it takes more or less 10 minutes to get here.

Loved the chilled atmosphere at Bloomfield Umalas, as a boutique hotel we were lucky enough to have facilities mostly to ourselves a lot of the time in the evenings. The outdoor terrace was picture perfect and there were plenty of beautiful spaces to relax. The rooms were spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful with all our inquiries. It was a great spot to spend our first week in Bali.

The food - it wasn't as vegan friendly as it sounded on the listing, and the included breakfast wasn't great for either me (vegan) or my partner (not vegan), it didn't seem very fresh. The cafe next door does an amazing breakfast for less than the price at the hotel, I'd highly recommend going there instead. The walk is almost the same as to the breakfast area of the hotel. The music - the music was lovely in the shared spaces, but extended quite late into the night and started quite early in the morning. Not great for light sleepers, but didn't bother us too much.

We have been upgraded to one of the Villa in the back. Very nice and spacious room, comfy bed and good size bathroom. Bloomfield Umalas is 20 minutes (scooter) from the beach in a quieter area compared to Canggu. Careful when using Grab (the app) because there are many Bloomfield, make sure you choose the right location for drop off! (we were using “Kembali”, the coffee shop at the beginning of the road and had no problems)

Construction works in front of the pool. Not sure if they are expanding the property or if it is a different building, but it ruins the view over the rice fields. The main road near by was busy, there were many coffee shops to choose from, but horrible to walk along the road since there was no side walk and the street was very narrow.

Very good value for money. Room is a nice size, enough space for luggage. Clean. The pool has a nice view, is clean. Overall just a nice vibe at the hotel. Staff is kind and helpful. Location is good! Not too busy and close to Canggu. If you rent a bike you can be in Canggu within 10 minutes. For me, this is amazing because you're in a more quiet area but still close to the busy Canggu/Seminyak.

The front doors are made out of bamboo, which looks very nice but they don't fully close, meaning mosquitos and other insects can get in easily.

The concept, the interior, the ambience and the location.

During our 1 month trip to Bali we returned 3 times to this hotel. It felt most home-like (instead of just a hotel) because of its size (not too many rooms), very friendly staff and comfortable rooms and layout. The pool was lovely and overall atmosphere super relaxed (while being close enough to canggu). Would highly recommend this place, also price-value wise.

The menu could be improved a little bit. Although it looked fine, we were slightly disappointed a few times (small portions, quality not great).

The property was so pretty, pool looked and was lovely. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. We got a free upgrade which was amazing! Location was great

The only thing would be how creaky the floorboard of the room we were staying in were. Some of the floorboards dipped and were not screwed in properly, probably just need to replace some of them.

This property far exceeded my expectations. I would have happily stayed here a lot longer. The restaurant, pool area and views are absolutely stunning. Very luxurious and well maintained. I felt like I was in a very expensive exclusive boutique villa hotel but I had only booked the budget room! Lots of gorgeous comfortable places to chill inside and out and big sofas, chairs, sunbeds, bean bags etc. I live in another area of Bali, so I was just here for a brief stopover visiting friends in the area. But the food in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner absolutely blew me away. It was some of the most delicious healthy food. that I’ve had in Bali in all the years I have been here and extremely healthy. There is even an amazing full-size, Yoga shala, which guests can use! I will definitely be back!

Mybudget/economy room was gorgeous inside and extremely comfortable. Only small thing is right next to reception so slightly noisy. it didn’t bother me at all though, as I was waking up early.

We loved our stay here! The location is great and quiet but still reasonably close to the center of Canggu by bike. The room we stayed in was very spacious, beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and it was cleaned every day (+ new towels). There is a large choice of tasty and fresh breakfast choices and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!
