it was so spacious,we had the 2 bedroom, huge living area,dining room, great sized clean pool ,very private,very quiet, excellent staff,clean and comfortable,,huge bathrooms, nice gardens , nice bed, there’s restaurants and massages nearby, …we went a day trip and the staff cooked us boiled eggs to take, it was too early for breakfast and they went out their way , very nice…the breakfast was plentiful and served to the room

it was a little bit far out for beaches etc,and the traffic was busy but the property was beautiful

The service and staff at this villa were truly exceptional, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. We also greatly appreciated the spaciousness and cleanliness of the villa, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment. The presence of cafes and food outlets within easy walking distance added a degree of convenience to the location..

The villa itself felt somewhat dated and could benefit from some updates. A significant limitation was the lack of air conditioning in the living room, which restricted comfortable use of the common areas during hot days. While there are nearby eateries, a wider variety of options requires a short drive of 2-3 kilometers.

To be honest, we were blown away as soon as we walked in. Photos do not do it justice. It is spacious, pool was big and clean and so was the rest of villa. It was a 2 story villa with the 3rd flight of stairs leading to the roof. Breakfast was good - not many options to choose from but it was still good. Room and bathroom was so spacious and clean. Staff always had a smile on their face and happy to help. They had filtered drinking water which was very handy.

Location was a bit out of the way, but you can easily get to places with Gojek/Grab (ensure you download apps and sign up before you arrive to Bali). Bed was on the hard side, i did struggle a bit with sleep but it didn't stop me from enjoying my holiday. Atm was a mission to get to, nearest atm did not work for us and then the next one after that was not working at all. We caught a grab to the nearest BNI bank to withdraw money.

I loved this house, it's beautifully set up and decorated, cleaned daily and breakfast delivered at any requested time between 7.30 and 10 and is cooked fresh just for you. The pool was clean and we practically lived in it when we weren't out exploring. The staff were amazing and so kind and helpful, they help me set up gojek on my phone so I could get tea delivered when we were to tired to go out, they made us feel safe at all times and let me daughter feed the fish daily and that became the highlight of her trip.

I loved how quiet it was but it also meant a lot of travelling to get to attractions. I wouldn't change my villa but if you want markets or multiple restaurants or clubs and pubs in walking distance this is not it. The restaurant near by is french and delicious but not many options so I do recommend gojek then you can get what ever you like when ever you like and still enjoy peaceful night's sleep.

Absolutely loved our stay at this villa! The location was perfect, nestled in a bustling area. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided fantastic recommendations. The room was spacious and made for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool was a highlight, offering relaxation and fun. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast! All of this at such an affordable price made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

While the villa offered a wonderful experience overall, one downside was the absence of AC in the common spaces. However, we found solace in the charming atmosphere by the pools, which added to the overall experience.

Very spacious property, starting to show age in places, pool was nice and long, breakfast was great and arrived on time. Great food options nearby - Cous Cous and Fabrica had good GF options

With the layout you had to lock off living area then go up stairs to bed on 1st floor and then lock bedroom door.

The villas is very beautiful with private pool. My kids love if so much. The place is very clean and well keep. I am very puzzle with some review that say bad things about this place. Maybe they are too fussy or have bad intention. For us, we love it so much. We have been to many hotel in other countries, and this villa is one of the best. The staff is helpful and friendly. The place is in a quiet area with lots of restaurant. The only thing is we should book more than 3 days stay. It so nice here.

The villa was great! I read some not so great reviews and was a little concerned, but it was great especially for the price! Pool was lovely, bedrooms where huge and the company that you can Whatsapp to come in and do in villa massages where amazing! Breakfast was goo, we just ordered a couple of egg options and a noddle's and shared everything and there was plenty.

Having a fan above the dining table would have been good, but we just moved to the lounge and ate there. There are some cracks and bits of the building that weren't perfect, but nothing you couldn't live with. Honestly you get what you pay for it was great for the money!

Space is really huge and generous. Completely loved the layout and set up of the place. The villa has got a small pool with fish just before entering the door. Downstairs has a big hall with sofa and TV, a private swimming pool just outside the hall, the kitchen has basic equipment for simple cooking, water dispenser is available so there's no worries of buying bottles of water particularly if you have a big family. Upstairs has a huge hall as well, 2 bedrooms and attached bathrooms. There's also a rooftop where you can get a nice view especially at night. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff who attends to our needs immediately. Good location where there are several dining places. You can easily find food even very late at night. Nearby laundry shops and spas are also available. All within walking distance. My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the villa for the 5 nights and it's really worth the money we paid for. Two friends and myself had a lovely stay at Papillon Umalas Villas. We stayed in a huge 3-storey villa although we spent most of our time out & about - Canggu mainstrip is about a 10min drive away. The beds we're comfortable and staff were exceptionally helpful. We loved having a breakfast delivered in the morning without being disturbed. We had all the amenities we needed and loved the friendly hotel cats :)

The villa needs some updating/maintenance (i.e. paint work) but its definitely value for money if you can look past those things.
