Really nice staff. Very helpful and cheerful. It’s a small hotel but good use of space. Food was good. We used their surf facilities. Excellent clean beach a short walk away.

The local surf instructor was nice and very good but the resident pro was a bit of a surfer dude and wasn’t that interested in giving surf lessons. I would stick to the local guy!

This is really an excellent place to stay. We spent a week here to surf and relax and we had a great time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place looks nice. The food is really good and among the best we've had in a month travelling. It's located in a quiet little village next to some great surf breaks. We were there in low season and the breaks were either completely empty or populated by a few friendly guys and kids from the village. The couple who runs the place are passionate about surfing, hospitality and creating the best surfing experience possible for their guests. It was really helpful getting briefings on the forecast and the best times for the spots nearby. We were lucky to get some tailored advice too, to enhance our surfing, from one of the owners who surfed at the same time as us. All in all, highly recommended, and we'll be back soon too.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

The food was amazing! Absolutely delicious, and all locally sourced and handmade. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were really helpful in interpreting the waves forecast for surfing in different areas. There was a free boat to take us to inside Ekas where the waves were incredible. We also spent a lot of time relaxing in the resort itself, making the most of the swimming pool, great WiFi, books and games. The beach is a very short walk away, and has a gorgeous sunset.

I like the facilities and the location. The Team was very nice and very helpful. The resort was well maintained.It was my first time in a semi organised surf resort. Hiring the boat was easier. The captains 'Boatman' was taking me to the surf spot daily and many times there were more experienced people in the water. Everyday there was motivation for surfing or exploring. The food was very good and served in a brief time (seafood, local food, juices, fruits etc.). The people who stayed in the surf Resort were all very nice and most of them surfed. The swimming pool was a good option when it was very hot middays. The room was cleaned every 2/3rd day which was convenient for my longer stay. I liked the early morning surf!

I liked everything in the Surf Resort. Sometimes it's just better to communicate twice to be sure there are no misunderstandings.

We had the best stay at Ekas surf resort, we stayed 10 days but could have done longer. We can’t thank the staff enough for how amazing they were, they really make the experience staying there. Everyone was super attentive, friendly and happy to help. The boat trips included with the accommodation to Inside Ekas was great, the staff helped with organising when we wanted to go. The rooms were super clean and up to date, and cleaned throughout the stay. The pool area was lovely to chill around and the restaurant/food was super good. For the price, it is worth every penny and we will absolutely be coming back. Thank you to all of the staff at Ekas Surf Resort and thank you Melissa and Dave!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here, we had the two-room family room and it was very comfortable. Beds were great, air con was strong and the open air bathroom and shower were amazing. It's a quiet little resort with a restaurant attached, great food and amazing staff. Possibly the best staff we've had in the three months we've been in Indonesia. The pool is refreshing and although small, it's deep and perfect. There were many guests but we often had it to ourselves. The resort is in a quiet area and you walk through a village to get to the most amazing beach. Great for kids and amazing surf (Inside and Outside Ekas). We only had a few days here but enjoyed every second. We'll be back!

The friendliness of the staff was amazing. It was a great space for kids as they always had something to do.

Loved the atmosphere at Ekas Surf Resort, strong focus on surf in a family-friendly vibe! All of the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I have to add that the food and menu diversity is amazing! Finally the 6 is very comfortable, pool side great for post surf chill and a billiard and ping pong room for evening shenanigans 😉

We loved Ekas Surf Resort. Five minute walk to the beach to catch the boat out. The staff advised us when the tides were right to surf and organised the boats to be ready. Speaking of staff, all of the staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly. A real asset to the resort. The rooms were more than adequate but we didn't spend much time in them. The place is remote, so be aware of that. In saying that, we loved it and will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay - everything was great! Beautiful quiet spot! Many delicious vegan options in the restaurant and the servings were huge - you won't go hungry here! The staff were great and rooms comfy. Surfing at both inside and outside Ekas was a great experience - especially at sunset - pink sky and pink waves!! 💕💕💕
