Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The villa Mengening we stayed in was excellent – clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The reception team was especially helpful – they assisted us with renting a motorbike, which made first day exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for us, making our departure completely stress-free. Whether it was a simple question or assistance with local recommendations, they were always approachable and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Housekeeping was great – the villa was great every day, with towels regularly replaced. One thing since the bathroom was designed in an open-air style (which is very typical for Bali), it’s possible to see a small gecko. But this is part of the authentic Balinese experience and didn’t bother us at all. Our villa had a beautiful view of the rice fields during our stay, the fields had a golden hue, and toward the end of our vacation, we even got to witness the rice harvest in progress. The on-site restaurant was also a highlight. The food was delicious. There is also a great swimming pool on the property, perfect for relaxing and cooling off during the day. Additionally, the location of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, about 20 minutes by motobike from the city center. By the way, a pleasant surprise on our last day was a complimentary fruit platter left for us – a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality getaway. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

A special menu card with warm/cold breakfast options and drinks is available in the morning on the first floor overlooking the swimming pool. Taste of these servings is delicious! The hotel is built in the middle of ricefields. The swimming pool is clean, big and overlooking these ricefields. The everyday cleaning of my room is done with so much care that it is really a pleasure to enter my room after a long hot day of strolling around. Moreover, there is also a very professional beauty salon and a real Balinese food resto not far from the hotel : just turn left when coming out of the hotel, walk 100m and turn left again on a small white pedestrian path, turn right at its end. Go straight away and you will discover them after 200 m, Warung Aji. There are also several « Durian »fruit sellers on this road. These fruits are harvested from their own trees in their garden.The whole area is very local, not many tourists.

It is about 45 minutes drive by motorbike to the center of Ubud.

The staff are so amazing, so attentive and sweet.. and they make beautiful food. We loved having the restaurant upstairs, overlooking the pool. The pool is stunning and it drops off over the rice fields. The gardens to the rooms are so lush and vibrant. I loved the bathtub in our room.. the view from our bed was superb, you could see far down to the ocean. The sunsets were great too. We loved the fact that this property was tucked away on a back street so it was super quiet and peaceful

The bed was very uncomfortable so I must say if you struggle with a hard bed and pillows that don’t match, you may end up with your back suffering like me by the end of your stay. We were there for a week.

to be honest I like the hospitality of the all the hostess at the reception they were very helpful and I think there hospitality is the one thing that makes this trip very very amazing for us as we stayed at 4 resorts during our trip to Bali but they did stand out. Even on the last day we had to check out very early in the morning, but they gave us breakfast basket even without asking which was very thoughtful and there were various instances of them being good at their job.

The lizards and geckos everywhere, but we made our peace with it as we were in middle of rice fields.

We loved absolutely everything about this place! The food, our room, the terraces, the swimming pool, simply everything! It was beautiful! It gave such a healing atmosphere, with its calmness and the closeness with nature. You can rent a bike from them, and visit many places from here. And also one thing, that maybe we loved the most; the staff! They were always helpful in everything. And they were always smiling and kind! It was the best part of it, when we got back from our daily adventure, and they were greeting us every time with a love filled soul. We felt there that we had finally come home. ❤️

I absolutely love this place if I can even give 6 stars then I give 6. Hospitality is top noch I'm never met this kind of extra high quality service from staff.And that is outstanding. And what to say more if location is insane in nature surrounded by rice fields,coconut palms and nature sound on morning is like soothing meditation for your brain.6 star for location also. Remember you are in nature no city noise and that's really helping to relax. Thank you Alam kawi. I Definitely will come back .

Located about 30 minutes north of Ubud Center, Alam Kawi is the perfect place to relax. I booked a Villa and it was so cool! My own little space to enjoy peacefully while recovering from jet lag. The front desk/ restaurant staff were so friendly. I had a 90 minute massage that was just what I needed after making my way to Bali from the states. The prices were super reasonable. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The pool area and facilities were well-maintained and clean, providing a relaxing environment for guests to unwind. The villa is situated conveniently outside of town, in the countryside, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. I was impressed by the attentiveness and good service provided by the staff throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist and ensure my comfort. Although the spa area was undergoing upgrades during my stay, I appreciated that the massage therapists were still available to provide in-room treatments. The massage itself was excellent and added to the overall relaxation experience.

I booked a villa and was assigned to the Suredayu villa. While the room itself was decent, I found it lacking in cleanliness, earning it a modest 6 out of 10 rating. Regarding breakfast, while it was passable, I found that there were better options available outside the resort. The villa offered a great view, but the open-roofed bathroom design made me anxious about the possibility of reptiles entering, which detracted from my overall enjoyment. Additionally, I was taken aback when the payment went through, and the staff informed me that there would be no refund. This seemed like a red flag, as it raised questions about transparency and customer service.

The view is amazing, the pool is clean, the room is big, clean and neat, the foods are delicious. They have billiard also, me and my husband keeps playing with it while waiting for our food. Staffs are amazing as well, very nice, very approachable, always smiling and making sure we are enjoying our stay in their accomodation. They have motorbike rental and can ask for laundry service. Their wifi is good also. Very peaceful place. Place is cold also. Definitely will recommend this place.

No hot shower water on our 2nd night and last day before we checked out in the accomodation, we thought maybe there's a timing or something or maybe runs out of hot water?. I also requested something to put words in our bed to surprise my husband, but they forgot it, tho it is ok as it doesn't have an additional payment.

Great location lovely scenery over the rice fields. Very quiet away from main hussle of Ubud. Staff very accommodating & the breakfast & food was excellent.. nice pool . Very clean & comfortable room . Nice black out curtains. Perfect place 10/10.

The picture on the Main Booking.com Is not what you get these are Villas on the front. So Cost more money if Availability. I booked a room with a view. & balcony & terrace . When got room it was downstairs & a wall was our view I stated that the room had a view. & the Staff happy to move me upstairs to better view .
