Our stay at Ubud Sawah Scenery Villa and Homestay was great ! Amy and Yoga, the hosts, are very nice, friendly, helpful and fun. The rooms and environment are beautiful and peaceful. The semi outdoor shower and bath are really nice too. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place near Ubud. You can rent a motorbike or book a Gojek or Grab to get around easily. You can also book a massage and have the therapist directly come to your room. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Half the menu is Indonesian food and the other half is Thai food. Both exquisite ! I would go back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend the place !

We liked everything

It was a very special stay, the owners made us feel like home. Everyone in the family is so welcoming and friendly. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful - true magic in the middle of rice fields where you can see locals living their life. Easy to get to town and main cafes by scooter or taxi. We loved staying in the vila, so asked if we could extend our stay for one more night and the owners made it work given its the busy time of the year. Thank you so much for this unique experience, we hope to come back one day.

Amy and Yoga are very friendly and helpful, their staff is very attentive, the bungalows are very well maintained, the outdoor bathroom is an interesting experience but you have to expect some guests (geckoes, spiders, nothing too scary and harmful). We really enjoyed the rice fields between the bungalows. We were upgraded to the villas in one night. Thought the villas had pool and a closed bathroom I consider the bungalow experience is more authentic

A bit more attention to the linen cleaning

It is a family owned homestay inside a serene rice terrace. Mr. Yoga and his family are looking after it. There are cute pets throughout the property that they have rescued. The villas are wooden structures constructed using traditional techniques. I am a little concerned that it does not really match the images here but everything else was spot on. There's a large bathroom outdoors with electronic bidet, free toiletries and bathtub. The villas have almost all amenities and there are restaurants nearby.

The owners Yoga and Amy were very kind and accommodating. The rice fields are beautiful and the location very peaceful yet very close to ubud.

Very nice staff. We rented a scooter at the hotel, as the location is quite remote. That provides a great scenery surrounding the hotel, rice fields and nature. Road on the way to the property is terrible - holes and tilted. We had a situation with the scooter, and the owner was understanding and reasonable. This left a good impression. We took with breakfast included and it was ok, eggs different styles, fruit, juice, coffee, toasts.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The location, the view, the pool, and the comfort of the home completely captivated us. However, our biggest thanks go to the staff, who took care of us as if we were their own. They provided us with great support during a difficult time and were helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place with all my heart, and we will definitely return if we come to Bali again!

Nothing.

Nice villa! The location is pretty good, it is 5 min from Ubud but there is no noise from traffic, very calm atmosphere like in the village. Staff is the best in our traveling experience. They remembered our names at the first day. Every day they offered tea and coffee free and clean the room very properly. It is convenient that everything is in one place. You can eat at the Restaurant, rent a bike and give clothes to laundry. At the restaurant there is very tasty Thai food. We recommend Tom Kha Kai, Pad Tai noodles and many fresh juice flavors! By the way, the breakfast included was pretty nice too (5 options).

Good signal of wi-fi but sometimes there were some problems with connection. But if you use Internet not for work it would be fine!

This was by far a highlight of my trip, Amy and Yoga have created a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The area was quiet and beautiful, the hosts were friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing and the staff were also just the friendliest people. The villa was clean and well maintained. Overall there was nothing to complain about and I had a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful peaceful location overlooking the rice paddies, 2 levels with the bedroom upstairs and a large verandah. Downstairs there’s a big covered area overlooking the pool. In the large bathroom there is a beautiful bath and separate shower.

All good and the Homestay Family are exceptionally kind and thoughtful. A winner.
