A heartfelt thank you for this wonderful stay! Everything was perfect — the room was beautiful and comfortable, the hotel peaceful and charming, and the food absolutely delicious. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the warm welcome from the receptionist and her husband. They were incredibly attentive and caring from start to finish, always available and thoughtful. I was especially touched by their kindness when they helped me recover my lost belongings at the airport — such generosity is rare and deeply appreciated. From the moment we arrived we were delighted with Dukuh Villas. From our room we could lie in bed and see the rice paddies! Lovely and peaceful. Really warm welcome, great breakfast, awesome juices and snacks. The pool was fabulous, just floating about looking at the rice paddies, sipping on watermelon juice, heaven! There were several restaurants within walking distance plus a laundry place and a massage place where several of our group had a great massage. The rooms were a great size, clean and welcoming. Bed was comfy. Honestly just a great, peaceful, welcoming place to stay. We were a group of 8 from 23 years old to 71 years old and we all loved it. The double room, 2 bedroom apartment and one room villa with pool were all amazing. You can hire bikes, walk to the waterfall nearby or just chill by the pool. Perfect!

We really loved the location—Ubud is not far, and the hotel is set in the countryside, allowing us to experience an authentic side of Bali. We had a beautiful view of the lush rice terraces, with little birds playing during the day and fireflies glowing at night. Great breakfast with a variety of options. The staff was adorable and even let us stay a bit longer after check-out because of the heavy rain. The swimming pool is small, but very clean.

The place was extremely nice, calm and with very beautiful views. What we liked the most was that our room was in front of the swimming pool. It had all thee facilities(gel, shampooing, toothpaste, toothbrush) and the bed was very comfortable. It had a small fridge. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredibly nice.

Fabulous, authentic Balinese homestay. Our rooms were immaculate and the view of rice fields and Mt Batukaru from the family suite balcony was stunning. The owner Made Arka is an artist who spends his free time painting at the Agung Rai Museum of Art. He and his wife have a profound knowledge of local culture and their warmth and hospitality were the highlight of our trip to Bali. The villas are in a rural location away from the Ubud bustle, but the owners offer price-matched taxi service and tours. Don’t hesitate to take their advice on things to do - it will be honest and trustworthy. The pool was clean and set in beautifully tended gardens looking out over the neighbour’s rice field. There are the usual grazing ducks and chooks next door (they add to the authentic atmosphere) and the white herons flying by were an added bonus!

Our view from our room was so beautiful! the staff were super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the location and rented a scooter from them. Breakfast everyday was delicious and the sounds at night were so peaceful. Our favorite place in ubud. thank you dukkuh! we hope to return soon<3

The host and her husband are amazing. So friendly and accommodating but also very nice to talk to. She explained a lot about Balinese culture and sat down for a talk during breakfast. I booked the cooking class, very fun and I would totally recommend! The view a the pool over the rice terrace is just out of this world.

We liked the kindness of the staff. whatever we wanted, they fulfilled it immediately. They took us into the city much cheaper than the taxi drivers. We also took part in Yuni's cooking class, and honestly, that's when we ate the most delicious lunch of our three-week Indonesian cruise. We went to buy ingredients at the local market together, everything was made from fresh ingredients. It is also possible to learn painting from the owner, unfortunately we didn't have time for that. It's a good accommodation because it's very family-friendly, and you can get a little insight into how a Balinese family lives.

I loved the corner room. It was amazing to see rice field and palm trees outside. Something so magical. Amazing WiFi, lightening fast! Never experienced that before in bali. So good. Amazing speeds for work online Breakfast was big. Staff so cute and friendly. Helpful. Scooters were decent. Location only 15 mins from main ubud Town. Nice places around to drive to. Had a nice kitchen outside the room too. Private. Amazing! And fridge. So useful

Nothing. Maybe a few bugs coming inside, but that's jungle life.
