Check-in was smooth. This small resort has cottages by rice fields, but also near roads. The pool is by the lobby, so you walk a bit if staying in Villa 4 or 5. They offered us a good breakfast on checkout day, which was a nice gesture. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Heri.

The bathroom light of Villa 4 were broken and the sink was cracked and moldy. Staff fixed the light and cleaned the mold, but the cracked sink stayed. Water pressure often dropped, and we had daily internet issues despite moving cottages. Seems to be common here.

We stayed in a very spacious villa with two bedrooms located in the rice fields with a large kitchen/dining room. One of the rooms was on the top floor of the villa.

The path leading to the villa was not well lit in the evening and the path uneven. Not much privacy at the swimming pool. Red ants at the swimming pool sitting area. The villa’s are great, the location isn’t. There is literally nothing in the area. No shops, no restaurants. You need Grab to get some food in the evening. Noisy motorbike in the passage next to the village (but that’s all over Bali I guess)

Our stay at Kabinawa was by far the best experience of our entire Bali/Lombok trip. From start to finish, everything about this villa exceeded our expectations, making it a truly unforgettable stay. The villa is located a little outside of Ubud town, which turned out to be a huge plus for us. It offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, allowing us to fully relax away from the busy tourist areas. The highlight of our stay was definitely the glass-box room with breathtaking views of the lush paddy fields. Waking up to such a serene landscape every morning felt like a dream. The villa itself is very spacious and well-designed. One thing we really appreciated was that it came with a fully equipped kitchen, allowing guests to cook if they wanted to. This is a rare find in many accommodations, and we loved having that option. The bathroom is outdoor, which added to the natural charm of the place. While this means you might encounter some insects, it wasn’t a big deal for us—it was just part of the tropical experience! The pool was clean and well-maintained, and we enjoyed taking a dip in the refreshing water. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring Ubud. The breakfast was also a highlight—generous in portion and delicious. It provided the perfect start to our mornings, fueling us for our adventures around the area. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. From check-in to check-out, they made sure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with warm smiles. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Kabinawa Villa Ubud is a hidden gem that offers tranquility, comfort, and stunning natural beauty. Such a beautiful villa! The location is a little ways out of Ubud, but that is definitely not something to worry about. We loved being further out in the peace and beauty of the rice paddies, and it is quicker to get out to some of the other sights nearby. Staff were very professional and friendly. We rented a scooter through the villa and it was great.

Both times we ordered breakfast to the room it came about an hour later than we had planned for, so if you have a scheduled time to leave in the morning order early or double confirm. The massage in the room was nice but it’s done on the bed so it’s a bit uncomfortable having to crank your neck to the side without the massage table ‘face hole’.

Great to be amongst the Padi Fields and in many ways part of the local scene. Our villa was spacious with great views.

Villa felt a little bare. Limited utensils. This location is 20 mins north of Ubud so a little isolated. There are restaurants nearby but are a 15-30 min walk.

We liked the facilities at the property, Mini bar in the villa, with nice view from the room, clean amenities and friendly hotel staff. and it was walking distance from Aloha Swings for photography and activities and not too far from the main road.

Since it is in the middle of farm land, we had mosquitoes and lizards in the room. it was kind of disturbing to see soo many of lizards crawling in the room. Also we couldn't order food or drinks from the Property restaurant after 3PM.

The property is located 10 minutes from main Ubud City Centre, which was so ideal as we were out of the busy streets but close enough to drive at our convenience. The Villa itself was beautiful. Clean, spacious, contemporary. Just perfect. The linen was clean and was changed daily. The staff and service we received was out of this world. From the early morning fresh coconut deliveries, to the mobile massage services late at night. EVERYTHING we asked for, they catered. The best thing I found was that the Villa itself supported their local community. From our Landry services, to local vendors. We rated this place a 20/10.

Staff was amazing, super friendly, positive and welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything they can. The villa was clean and spacious, just keep in mind you can have some Gecko visitors in your room from time to time, but they are very cute and keep their distance. The Breakfast was very generous, delicious and with many options to choose from. Very nice and quiet place in Ubud, away from the crowds.

I loved the location and the design of the room. The staff and manager were the absolute best! Grateful for the mosquito net and the secluded nature of the villa.

No lighter to light the stove, the kitchen was out of order for unforeseen circumstances making it impossible for me to stay there for the duration of my desire. I was disappointed and also understood the situation. The manager did his best to help me and I would love to go back another time.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating and helped us arrange activities, drivers and scooter rentals. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. They also gave us a take-away breakfast when we checked out since we needed to leave very early in the morning.
