We love the hospitality, they were very lovely to us. Breakfast was yummy, kids loved the Pancakes. Provides water just make sure u keep Ur bottles to refill and chill in fridge. He provides laundry service but we went down the road, cheaper and delivered and picked up for us. Try food and massages at the retreat down the road. omg to die for. All in all we appreciate the stay. Very prompt at fixing stuff needed and checked on our needs.

The creepy crawlies, but I mean we were in Ubud. We had insect sticks/spray and fly spray for nights. At first extra bed/mattress was placed on the floor we freaked out a bit esp paying 200k extra a night, with the insects but it was OK and our baby was OK and happy. Does need a bit of a clean but we in Bali so we make do.

Privacy was promised and that's what we got. This place is busy with birds singing and we didn't have the noise of Ubud centre. The 3 self contained cabanas are set around a manicured courtyard. They were spacious and more than enough for our family of 5. The bathrooms were sumptuous and we could see the stars during a shower before going to bed. The bedrooms have full working air conditioning. The pool was refreshing and no one bothered us while enjoying it. The owner, Karsa is a gentleman and we can see why he has nothing but high ratings. The staff looked after us and the kids as if we were their family. Every morning we had breakfast served on time waiting for us on a beautifully decorated table.

During a storm in the wet season, the kitchen floor got wet and that created a slipping hazard. The breakfast selections were ok for 4 days but after that it got a bit repetitive.

Karsa was waiting for me on arrival even though we arrived later than the time I planned. Breakfast wa a always ready on the table when we asked for it The wildlife around the villa is unreal. Close enough but still comfortable. My kids absolutely loved every minute of the spiders (not anywhere near us) and geckos and lizards!!! Everything was easy and laid back. We grew to look forward to Karsa’s visits and chats every night! I saw this as a con for previous guests but we absolutely loved it! Karsa and his family are such beautiful people who we loved learning the Balinese culture from! Please use the recommended driver for the villa -Nyoman. He is so kind and helpful. Even carried my older child to the waterfall as my in-laws were having trouble with the slippery rocks. It was raining when we arrived at the villa from a day trip and he went to the villa and found umbrellas for us all. Honestly he went above and beyond anything I have experienced in Bali previously (I have been 11 times and all positive experiences!)

Nothing personally!! It was my in-laws first time in Bali and their expectations were different than mine. There are a few “creature comforts” missing from the villa but everything we asked for was attended to - even thigh at time I felt a bit embarrassed to ask!!! Karsa his son and staff went above and beyond. I think the stay at Uma Kama was among the best I’ve had in Bali.

Breakfast every morning was simple but delicious. It’s a large property, nice to have some space. Comfortable beds.

The property was a long way from central Ubud, which took a bit to navigate but we did get used to it.

This place is beautiful and so quite and calm. Our family enjoyed and loved it very much. Pak Karsa was so helpful and always ready to help with anything.

Nothing aside from a long drive from ubud to anywhere in Bali including to and from the airport. But that has nothing to do with the property.

the villa was amazing. it had three private huts so the three couple could have some private space/bathrooms. the villa is located near some restaurants/bars which was handy if we didn’t want to get a taxi.the owner was fantastic, he prepared breakfast everyday for us and when we had an excursion he prepared us packed breakfasts. when we asked if it was possible same day laundry he did it for us. he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. the house has everything you need. it was a very beautifully decorated/built house. Very cheap price for what it was!

this is not a dislike. just an observation. The bathrooms are outside so perhaps some guests may be a little bit afraid (there was nothing to be afraid of)

Villa lovely authentic location in midst rice paddies. Pool was great nice quiet location. We had the most wonderful driver called nyoman to take us places recommended by the owner. Staff made nice breakfasts and very considerate.

Bit further out from ubud main street than we expected.. need alternative option to the cash payment for the facility we expected to use a credit or debit card which was not option which we were not aware of until we arrived. Was hard to get the amount of cash out and changing exchange rate.

This property is so stunning and exactly as the pictures show. It's about. A 15 minute taxi or scooter ride from the hustle and bustle of the Main section of Ubud. Fab for families.

Would be nice if they maybe organised a new kettle... the one at the villa is very old and corroded.

Amazing villa with great pool. The rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfortable and have a mosquito net. The owner and rest of the staff are super friendly. You can choose from 5 different breakfast options. Villa is located 15 mins from te center of Ubud (by car) and the owner knows a taxi driver that can bring you whenever you want. It costs around €6 to go to the center by taxi.

Nothing, everything was great!

Spacious room. Outdoor bathroom. Nice breakfast included (pancakes and fresh juices). Good swimming pool. Dedicated car parking area just beside the street.

No entertainment (TV / speakers) in common/public area.
