We stayed here in October and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and a welcome drink. The villa itself was stunning—spacious, beautiful with a pool set in a colorful garden. Located a short 20 minute taxi to Ubud Center where u can enjoy Ubud Palace, Monkey Forest etc. Or 5 minutes North where you enjoy the swing, lowak coffee, or 3 tier swimming pool club. The villa is in a very quiet area nestled in amongst rice fields. Great for relaxing. Step into their in house restaurant for delicious food and very good prices. Even compared to the local prices, these were very competitive. We enjoyed their cocktails which were delivered to our villa. Breakfast was served fresh to our room every morning and on the last day we tried the floating tray- worth it for the pics The private pool was a dream come true! Very unique experience - an old villa( not in a bad way, but because it is really antique). The best thing was that we could order food to our room! Staff is very friendly! Used massage service - enjoyed it!

Because the villa is old the furniture makes some noises, also because it is nature - lots of bugs around. But this was all ok - worth for the true experience.

Madani villas is about 20 min drive north of Ubud town, near the rice terraces. It’s a beautiful, quiet hotel with private villas. The breakfast is a La carte, and very delicious. The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Awan, our driver for 2 day trips from the hotel, was amazing. He showed us things along the way we wood never had seen without him. If you want to go to town you get a grab or gojek, never waited more than 3 to 4 minutes for a car.

We absolutely loved our stay at Madani Antique villas! Definitely worth paying a little extra for a private pool. Beautiful views. Staff were very friendly & accommodating to all our needs. Located closer to Tegallalang so good for exploring the rice fields but ~20min scooter ride to centre. Restaurant on site was great for dinner + was able to get it delivered as room service.

We loved the floating breakfast experience but the food was unfortunately just mediocre which is a shame because dinner from the accompanying restaurant was incredible.

This is a hidden gem within Ubud. If you’re looking for a quiet and romantic stay away from the Ubud central hassle, this is your place. Hidden in the jungle, we got upgraded to a beautiful villa with a private fool. Not only was the room absolutely beautiful, comfortable and with amazing views into nature, but the customer service was amazing (shout out to Yuni, who was there for us and offered super quick and helpful responses). We booked a couple of day trips with a driver from the hotel (Soma) who was also fantastic, super helpful and informative. The food at the restaurant is also great, and so is the massage! Overall, one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in.

Nothing we didn’t like, but we did get taken to our room by scooter as it was so private and secluded (2 minute ride). This was not a problem for us but it might not work for everyone.

We loved the friendliness of all of the staff and the traditional design of the villa, with a comfortable bed. The location was also special looking across the rice paddy's, it was so peaceful. The pool was the perfect size for a cooling dip. The private villa space was delightful. We also enjoyed the restaurant, which had a well priced menu with some delicious meals to try.the location meant you had lovely elevated views over the country side and was only a short drive from Ubud centre but you feel like you are well away from the chaos. There are also a few other restaurant options within walking distance, so you don't feel too isolated.

The only thing we didn't like was the tiled floor in the bathroom, which was very slippery, even before being wet. They looked beautiful but we were very careful when using the bathroom.

This property was unique and beautiful. It was like being alone on a tropical island. Exactly what we were looking for. The staff are amazing! Anything you could think to need during your stay they will happily provide. Anytime you are coming to or leaving from the property staff is there to inquire after your wellbeing. They genuinely want to ensure you have an amazing trip and go above and beyond to make that happen.

This property is not for anyone who doesn’t like nature. You set literally in the middle of nature with lizards greeting you

I stayed in a jungle room and the view was amazing, I didn’t realise that we had to get on bikes to access the room but it was only a couple minutes away and there were always staff available to take us, the drive through the rice fields was very beautiful too. The customer service was some of the best I’ve ever received, I was able to text 24/7 about any issues including insects in the room and they were happy to help. The food was also delicious both breakfast and dinner. Cannot emphasise enough how amazing my time here was, I wish I stayed longer

The Jungle View Private Pool Villa is spacious, luxurious, and worth the money. It is located away from the main reception area and is completely private, with a view of the jungle. It is a wooden cabin, big enough for a small family, that is charming & comfortable. The service too is top-notch, with timely responses from the staff and excellent arrangement of extras like flower baths, romantic dinners, etc.

The quality of the food items (breakfast, dinner) could be improved.

The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. The property itself is very beautiful, perfect for relaxing. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, ideal for unwinding. It's also surrounded by rice fields, which adds to the charm, especially at night when the temperature cools down a little bit more than in the city center. The rides on the scooter to explore the area were enjoyable, even though the location is a bit farther from the city. Laundry service worked great, and everything was taken care of efficiently. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

The main downside is the location, as it’s a bit far from the city. While scooter rides made it easier to get around, it still took some time to reach the city center. :)
