It is in a great location, a beautiful property with an amazing pool, restaurant, and spa. The rooms are amazing, AC worked great and the bathroom was huge. The balcony overlooking the pool was amazing and so comfortable with the fan on a rainy day just relaxing. Wifi was super fast. Would love to come back here more often. Rooms are huge too and easy to get to. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Can not recommend this place enough. So glad we found it and got to stay here.

Did not love the bathroom only being divided with a curtain from the room but wasn't a big deal. Nothing else really bothered us. Communicating with the restaurant staff in English was sometimes difficult, they got our order wrong several times but not a huge deal.

I had an incredible stay at AnandaDara Ubud Resort & Spa. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The staff were absolutely amazing—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The setting was truly magical, surrounded by lush greenery that made it feel like a hidden paradise. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, offering a delicious variety of both local and international dishes. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches—moisturizer infused with insect repellent, complimentary soft drinks and snacks restocked daily, and excellent communication throughout my stay. The pool was superb, perfect for relaxing while soaking in the serene surroundings. I had 3 amazing treatments at the spa and came away refreshed and rejuvenated from each one. I highly recommend AnandaDara Ubud for anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway in Bali. I can’t wait to return!

Absolutely everything! This hotel was a dream…super clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and above all its staff. They were attentive, kind and always with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and excellent quality every day and we had lunch once and it was equally superb. I highly recommend this hotel!

There’s nothing I did not like….one useful thing to know is that it’s roughly 15/20 minutes from the centre of Ubud and during the day there is a free shuttle service. It’s perfect if you do not want to be trapped in the chaos of Ubud centre and it’s super well positioned to move around the island.

We booked this accommodation last minute due to an issue with a previous hotel. However, the staff here were excellent and welcomed us to the resort. From there things continued to be excellent, the room, pool, service and location (a bit quieter, but was to our liking). Overall would definitely recommend staying at AnandaDara. In terms of cleanliness they clean rooms twice a day (if required) so everything is very clean. The yoga was great too!

The only thing that would help improve (although minor) would be more places to hang towels in the bathroom.

EVERYTHING! I felt immersed in the nature, one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. The staff is amazing, the shuttle to the city is a nice addition. They bring you food to the pool and room service is amazing.

I have had a problem with my food, however, the unfortunate situation was very well handled by the hotel staff, I really could see that they cared about the issue. Another little issue that I have was regarding the yoga classes, I mentioned during the check in that I wanted to join the yoga classes however it was not clear that to join I would also need to book through WhatsApp. Very bad that I woke up early and there were no yoga. The hotel should improve the communication.

Beautiful resort in a quiet area of Ubud a bit away from the craziness of the town but near the rice terraces. The rooms are very nice, beds super comfortable, breakfast delicious and huge (but takes a while as it's ala carte and they prepare from scratch) and grounds are beautiful. Most of all the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Special shout out to Ari who took great care of us.

The bathtub is in the main bedroom separated by a curtain and the bathroom stall and shower are separated from the room by frosted glass, so less privacy if you are traveling with someone that isn't a partner.

Quiet enough but not “dead”, very clean, beautiful design and interior/exterior details. Felt very comfortable and relxing. Just what we needed! All personel was great! Thank you and we will return!

The room felt a bit damp probably because the guests before you kept the balcony door closed all day and did not ventilate the room enough, and the bathroom does not have adequate ventilation system. since we stayed in the hotel 8 days, the smell in the room was felt less and less each day by airing it out. an extremely strong fan on the balcony also helped, preventing mosquitoes from entering the room, airing the roo and drying our bathing suites during night :), which were difficult to dry due to the humidity in the air. very practical!

Beautiful room. Very spacious and since it was off-season, we got a good deal for it. They cleaned twice a day (you can opt out when not needed). Set breakfast options are decent. Restaurant has a view of rice fields across, so it was refreshing. Pool had jungle feel so it was cool. Shuttle was available to central ubud although we never availed. Location-wise, if you hired a driver it’s conveniently accessible to rice terraces, waterfalls, central ubud.

One of the persons at the front desk wasn’t so friendly. But maybe we just caught him at a bad time.

The staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to put a smile on your face. Always smiling, remembering your name and doing a great job. The food is great also and a fair price for the evening meals considering how good they are.

When taking the free shuttle service into Ubud the driver kept offering to take us to his village on his day off (to make more money of course) and about gambling and alcohol and even after we politely didn't agree he approached us when we returned to the hotel again to ask if we would like to go to his village/home so forth.

Great place, wonderful gardens and restaurant’s employees were smiley and welcome. The rooms were big and spacious. The minibar is filled every day with mineral water and some snacks. The breakfast was really great, quite affordable compared to similar places we’ve visited and of good and fresh quality. The situation is very close to many touristy places and the hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubud city center. Overall good experience with the staff. With the discount from booking.com were very happy for our choice. Would have been disappointed if we would have paid the original rate.

The noise isolation is bad. Even if the hotel is wonderful it’s a pity that the structure of the building is so bad. You could hear your neighbor showering or in the bathroom. The other disadvantage is that you realize very quickly the room smells of mold. Air conditioning helps but you have it really in your clothes after you leave the hotel. We’ve booked two suits. We e have found fairly large pieces of broken glass under the sofa of one of the rooms when we arrived. I guess the previous guest should have broken something. Looking under the furniture you will see that it wasn’t perfectly cleaned. Quite disappointing on arrival, but not a drama. We’ve put that in the trash. Swimming pool is wonderful but very very cold, no way to really enjoy it for us.
