Bidadari felt like a peaceful sanctuary away from our busy everyday life. Tucked away in lush jungle surrounds just outside Ubud, the villas are private, luxurious with an authentic Balinese charm. The staff were great – warm, genuine & attentive without being intrusive. They made us feel welcome & went above and beyond to meet every need with kindness. The food was exceptional. Beautifully presented breakfasts with lots of options & large portions. I love being able to order through the QR code as well. They were also incredibly accommodating of our dietary needs, our daughter particularly loved her gluten free pancakes every morning. If it's your first time visiting Bali or Ubud, please expect parts of your accommodation will be open to the elements & there will be some insects. But Bidadari provide everything you need to manage these. Outdoor or open bathrooms are also common, it's part of the true Bali experience! I highly recommend Bidadari, it's slightly out of the now very busy & hustling Ubud center but close enough to still enjoy it's offerings before heading back to the tranquility & peace of the villas. The pool, spa service & views make for a really special stay.

Not a negative for me but is worth mentioning for others: If it's your first time visiting Bali or Ubud, please expect parts of your accommodation will be open to the elements & there will be some insects. But Bidadari provide everything you need to manage these. Outdoor or open bathrooms are also common, it's part of the true Bali experience! If you are booking a Villa with 2 bedrooms please note that access to the second bedroom is external, if traveling with young children this might be something you need to consider.

Best stay ever! Absolutely fabulous! Highly recommended! This was the best accommodation we ever stayed in and we do like to travel! The resort is in a peaceful location, set in the jungle and all you hear is the nearby river, bird songs and crickets. We booked the Romantic Honeymoon Villa, which is gorgeous. You have an entire 2 storey villa with infinity pool, garden, seating area, outdoor bath, all just for yourself. ALL staff (reception, chefs, room attendants, room service staff, spa therapists and Mr Rana, the Director) are incredible! They all are so friendly and polite and made us feel really special! Many thanks to all of them! They are amazing and are doing a brilliant job! Their attention to detail is exceptional! The entire place is spotless clean. The food is absolutely delicious and is served in your villa, by the pool, or on your terrace, whichever you prefer. The fluffy pancakes are a must!!! Thank you to the head chef and to chef Putu, especially. If you reserve the bbq for dinner, you get a private chef who comes and cooks the bbq at your villa. For my wife birthday they organised a delicious birthday cake which was delivered at breakfast! The resort also offers a free shuttle to Ubud centre every day on request. However, if you prefer to walk (1h 15 min to Ubud City centre), there is a footpath through beautiful rice fields, close to the resort. Everything was stunning. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back. Bidadari Private Villas&Resort is a must stay and we highly recommend it! Thank you again to everyone for making us feel so special!

Everything was perfect!

This was our first stop in Bali and it really set our expectations high! It was the MOST beautiful and amazing stay I’ve ever had. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. They genuinely just want you to be happy and enjoy your stay. The rooms we had were beyond what we had expected. The layout is so unique, it’s and inside outside style, we had a kitchen , tv room, dining room Sitting areas and a private pool The views were breath taking. Rana (the director) was very helpful and friendly. He always made sure to greet us and ask how our day was. The staff really made it feel homey as well. Dian often brought us our breakfast and sorted our room out and she always brought a smile to our faces. The hotel provides free breakfast. Afternoon tea and a shuttle service to the town. All your request are made through QR code and they had many options for food and drink at VERY reasonable prices. We also were able to rent a scooter through the villa which was handy to have. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore. If you are staying in ubud you’d be silly not to stay here. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable🥰❤️

There’s nothing to dislike it was paradise.

We had a wonderful stay at Bidadari villas! From the beginning to the end of our stay at the private presidential villa, we had a truly memorable experience. The breathtaking view into the tropical forest that surrounds the property, made you feel one with nature. Furthermore, beyond just the property, the exceptional and heartwarming staff members, not only ensured the villa was well-maintained but meant that us as guests had an unforgettable stay. All services from dining to spa treatments were top class.

Perhaps the comfort of the mattresses was the only minor complaint.

Loved everything A perfect slice of Paradise Darthy was just amazing. She served us as family and planned every detail. The manager was also very kind and came to see all was ok himself. The chef was great and grilled for us a 3kg Mahi Mahi in our villa. The serenity peace and beauty is unparalleled

Ordering breakfast daily yourself online. A bit confusing with 8 people. If a staff member can take the order like a restaurant, it will make things much easier.

My partner and I stayed in the Honeymoon Villa for 5 nights and it was beyond what we expected. This staff at this accommodation made us feel so welcomed and comfortable right from the beginning. Rana and his team were waiting for our arrival and the greeted us with a warm towel and a delicious welcome drink. We were so shocked by how amazing the room was! It was out of this world and so clean. The entire villa was very private, with an infinity pool that backed out into the jungle it was the most breathtaking room view i have ever had. Most of the villa is outdoors, which we loved. They have a car service onsite which made it very easy to get around when we wanted to go around Ubud. You get one drop of and one collection per day which was grand. The food and service were great too! We had breakfast delivered to us by the pool every morning by staff who were so friendly and hellpful. There is so much choice of breakfast and they deliver at a time that suits you for a private dining experience in the morning. I cannot praise the staff here enough, they work so hard for you to feel welcome. They were brilliant and so nice in the mornings. We also got a day trip organised by the hotel and the price was very reasonable and similiar to what we saw online. Our drive Wid was amazing we loved how friendly he was and did an amazing job showing us around. We cannot thank him enough for the brilliant tour we went on around ubud . If you get a tour ask for Wid! I highly recommend staying at Bididari if you are looking for a place to get away with that is breathtaking to get some peace and quiet. Everything about this place is 5 stars and we were so sad leaving. We would have stayed here longer but are travelling around Bali. All I can say is if your thinking about staying here, do it

Nothing it was amazing.

We had the most incredible stay at Bidadari Private Villas & Retreat. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and level of service were exceptional. The staff were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. As someone with strict gluten-free needs, I was amazed by how thoughtfully and fully they catered for me—it made the experience even more enjoyable. Our villa was stunning, with a private infinity pool overlooking the lush jungle—a peaceful oasis away from the busier parts of Bali. It was so relaxing, serene, and truly felt like a piece of paradise. Bidadari exceeded all expectations, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

The resort is a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud! The resort shuttle was easy to use to go back and forth to Ubud. We loved the breakfast every morning with a variety of options. We especially lovved the fresh squeezed juices and excellent lattes! The spa was fabulous and we arrange to go twice during our stay. The location is perfect, with the sound of the river flowing in the background. The hotel staff were great and responsive to our endless questions. My husband was thrilled that they arranged to do his laundry! There are many steps at the resort due its lovely location but that just adds its beauty and charm. We stayed in the Grand Magnificent 2 BR Villa, which had 3 levels, with the master BR on the ground floor with private entrance. We had the private barbecue for our group of 4 and it did not disapppoint. Dinner ordered from the menu was delicious and it was nice not having to back into Ubud to have an evening meal. We could just relax, take a swim and have a nice dinner. The resort is close to the Monkey Forest, and the beautiful rice terraces on the way to Penglipuram Village and Tirta Empul.

We had a great driver who was able to find the resort. Had we been on our own in a scooter or rental car, I'm not sure how easily we would have found the resort. The sign out front could be improved to stand out more. Our daughter and her friend was not fans of the outdoor toilet on the middle floor BR. We would suggest for this to have a greater privacy wall.

This place is exactly what you need for a relaxing trip away to get away from the stressed of life. Our honeymoon villa was perfect it had everything you need. It was extremely clean and full of quirky little things. The infinity pool has a spectacular view and couldn't be more relaxing. All the facilities where great we could not fault a single thing. The staff were probably the nicest and most helpful people I've ever come across they did everything to make sure our stay was perfect we couldn't thank them enough. Location is also perfect it is a good 15 minute drive from the centre of ubud so not far at all in a taxi or the free shuttle the hotel provides but it's also a good distance away so you aren't in the mix of everything and still get the peaceful relaxing vibes of the jungle. All in all if you want to book somewhere in ubud book this place you will not be disappointed 🌴

Nothing it was perfect!

Bidadari is an amazing location, with fantastic staff who can't do enough to please their guests, we'd thoroughly recommend it! Food is served in the villa, upon request and was all delicious. Massages in-villa were also fantastic. The daily free-taxi was very useful too, we weren't expecting that one. Staff also arranged trips and transfers to our next hotel, which was thoroughly appreciated. 10/10 all round!

The villa pool was quite cold and the property is 20-30mins away from Ubud in crazy traffic, but that's about it!
