The staff were very accomodating. Our villa was located at a high location facing the rice fields, which made our stay very peaceful and quiet. Our breakfasts were timely prepared and they have options. Be ready to take an adventure if you book one of the rice field villas though, because you can only reach the hotel by walking or a motorcycle ride which they also provide. All in all, it was a great stay!!

Perfect for a romantic holiday, away from the touristy part of Bali. - great location to take a tour of Ubud from.

- The area was a bit too quiet for me. A couple of small shops nearby, but that's about it. Not a big issue if you have a scooter or use Grab Bike, it's about a 15 min ride to the centre of Ubud. Best for couples to have a quiet holiday. - It's pretty much in the jungle, so you should expect a few creepy-crawlies here and there. - lots of stairs to get to the rooms from the street level. Not an issue, personally, but might be for some. Luckily, the lovely staff takes your luggage to and from the room for you.

Amazing hotel! We stayed in a room surrounded by beautiful rice fields, offering a peaceful escape. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. We highly recommend it for anyone seeking a tranquil, beautiful retreat! ♥️

The only downsides of staying in the rice fields were: There were quite a few insects and geckos, so if you're not comfortable with them, it might not be the best fit. It's a bit far from the main street, about 1.5km of a narrow, uneven road, so having a motorbike is helpful. However, the staff offers free pick-up and drop-off service if you prefer not to drive. The breakfast juices weren’t very flavorful and felt a bit diluted. Also there was no fridge in the room. The bathroom only had shampoo and shower gel, so adding items like hand soap and cotton swabs would have been a nice touch. :)

We had a great and happy stay there. We felt as home, and we were taken an excellent care by the owners and the staff. They let us feel comfortable all the time. All our requests were fulfilled with kindness and smiles on theirs faces. The owners are present, and they care of the villa with their hearts. I'd definitely stay at Ayu Dwur Beji again, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Ayu Duwur Beji for five days, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Ayu, her husband, and their entire team were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Our suite offered a stunning view of the jungle—a true retreat for relaxation, even on rainy days when we stayed in. Two highlights of our stay were the refreshing swimming pool and the delicious breakfast. The banana pancakes were my personal favorite—so flavorful! The location is only a 10-minute scooter ride from Ubud. While it’s slightly further than some accommodations, we loved the tranquility of this place, far from Ubud’s busy crowds. It was the perfect balance of accessibility and serenity. Ayu also offers scooter rentals, and we rented one directly from her. It was in excellent condition, equipped with two helmets and rain jackets—thoughtful touches that made exploring the area hassle-free. We wholeheartedly recommend Ayu Duwur Beji to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming stay near Ubud.

We had the most unforgettable stay at Wayan and Ayu’s stunning villa in the heart of the rice fields in Ubud. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and they made sure our needs were met throughout the stay with care and attention. The villa itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature whic is perfect escape. The breakfast each morning was exceptional, super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Veyr close to most of the places we wanted to visit. We also felt completely safe and secure, which gave us total peace of mind. You also have to try the dinner and their amazing massage experience with sound of nature ! Wayan and Ayu go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home, and their commitment to excellence truly sets them apart. Highly recommend this magical place. we can’t wait to return! Very peaceful and quiet place. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, served every morning on the room's terrace, with an absolutely gorgeous view of the jungle. There is a nice clean pool where we had breakfast made one morning in the pool - a great experience. Motorbike hire, transfers, activities available. A few minutes to Ubud by motorbike or taxi or you can use Grab. A magical place with wonderful and very gracious people as hosts. Definitely recommend it! The villa in the rice fields was so peaceful and tranquil. it was perfect place to stay in Ubud, close to the town by bike. The villas have a pool over looking the rice fields which makes the perfect play to swim. The hosts Ayu and Wayan are so accommodating and make you feel so at home. they couldn’t do enough. If you’re staying and you’re up for an adventure definitely stay in the rice fields, rent a bike if able so you can explore (it’s quite the bumpy ride down to the roads! This has by far been the best place we’ve stayed in Bali so far.

The only small downside would be there is no fridge! just meant water drinks etc will get cold very quickly. Which isn’t really a necessity, more of a luxury in Bali but would be helpful as most stores shops are 10 mins away by bike.

It's very peaceful and quiet. All the staff and owners are very friendly, welcoming and caring. The rooms are immaculate and they go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. They provide lots of bottled water and they help carry your luggage around. They were so accommodating with my check in and out time. They bring breakfast to your room for the time you request and you have many options to choose from. Breakfast is delicious and presented beautifully. It is in a great location if you don't want to be in the crowed part of Ubud, yet its quick and easy to get into the centre. You can do a cooking lesson which is a 2 minute walk away (highly recommend). Hosts also provide lots of information and recommendations for things to do, they are so helpful, lovely and kind. They speak very good English. I feel so lucky to have found this place, I travelled alone and I felt so safe and welcomed. If I get the chance to visit Bali again, I would definitely book here again. One of the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. We were met with unparalleled hospitality and kindness by our hosts. The property is beautiful, we stayed in the rice fields facing ones and it’s truly a stunning view. The pool is very nice and all the decoration has a lot of taste. We had a beautiful and Instagram-like floating breakfast by the pool that they organised. They can organise everything for you, scooters, masseuse with little notice, tours (we did the mount batour that they help arrange), and even transfers to our next location. We had numerous situations where they went above and beyond to help make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. We arrived late in the evening and they offered to make us dinner right there on the spot, despite the kitchen being closed and us not having asked in advanced. Also, we didn’t know we could rent scooters with them so we took care of it before arriving and on the last day we had already returned it and had no way to make it back with our luggage from the rice fields (long ish walk and not accessible by car) but they very kindly lent us one of their scooters and even got one of the staff to come help us with the bags (and was 6am!) and on top of it even gave us a breakfast box so we could take on our journey! Would give them 11 stars if there was an option to!
