The hotel is really beautiful and what makes it even better is the exceptional staff that I would like to thank once again! The pool is amazing and offers breathtaking view of the rainforest.(there is an issue here though that I will explain later) Rooms are large,clean and very nice decorated.There was a humidity smell in the room but it didn’t really bother me.I understand it’s a tropical place.You will also see insects on the balcony but that didn’t bother me either.After all you are in the middle of a rainforest. Breakfast was basic but good.Perhaps they could add a few more options to the menu. Cocktails and food at the pool bar were also very good.The portion of the pasta could have been a bit bigger though. There is free shuttle to ubud center few times per day but you can also use taxi service anytime. The hotel also organizes day tours which I did and really enjoyed.

The reason I booked this place is because of the beautiful pool and the great view. Even though the pool is huge,the pool deck is really small and thus all the sunbeds are cramped next to each other offering no real distance and privacy among guests.That makes it kind of uncomfortable. What’s even worse is the fact that the hotel uses the pool area as a day club.It means that outsiders can just come there and occupy the few sunbeds that should be reserved for paying guests.This is not ok towards hotel guests. On my last day a group of outsiders came to use the pool drinking and making a lot of noise. I wonder how the pool area looks like during high season with all these outsiders and influencers. The management should really look into this.

Staying at this beautiful hotel was an amazing experience. The pool view was like paradise, overlooking a stunning forest. The room was very clean and beautifully designed, with a balcony offering a breathtaking view. The breakfast was good. One day, we had the chance to join an outdoor yoga class at the hotel, which was an incredible experience. The yoga instructor was excellent. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. On the last day, they surprised me for my birthday with a beautiful cake, creating a wonderful memory of my birthday in Bali. Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at this lovely hotel, and I highly recommend it!

I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like about the hotel. The only thing was that the hotel had two restaurants—one served modern cuisine with great quality food, though it was slightly more expensive than restaurants in the city center. We also tried the local restaurant within the hotel once, but we didn’t enjoy the food, maybe because it didn’t match our taste. We really wanted to try the hotel’s massage center as well, but since it was much more expensive than the massage centers in the city, we chose to go to one in town instead. Overall, the hotel’s services were excellent, and I can’t find any faults with it.

We loved our stay at Metland Venya! The location was great, offering the most relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud centre that is just 10 minutes away. The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was very spacious and cleaned so well every day. The pool view is to die for. Also, breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from.

The only negative thing is the amount of humidity that is inevitable due to the forest.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, they remembered us by name the entire time and knew about dietry requirements for every meal. The chef had something prepared for us at every meal. The room was clean, comfortable, had ice cold air con, a great bathroom and fantastic view. The pool was amazing with an exceptional view plus a great bar serving food and drink poolside. Could not be happier with my stay and will be returning on my next visit to Ubud.

Views were awesome, also the restaurant food was quite good

Our friends have a 4 years old kid who was sick at night, unfortunately she puked on the towel at night. Our surprise when we checked out the hotel wanted to charge xtra 200.000rp for the laundry. Finally we ended paying 100.000rp.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The room size is big and there was a balcony overlooking the eternity pool and forest - breathtaking.

We had a recurring sewage smell in our room. Despite complaining several times, the staff could neither solve the problem or change our room. This really ruined the experience - They should really focus on resolving this issue. It’s too far to walk from the hotel to Ubud city center. The hotel does have a shuttle service going into Ubud town but the service is infrequent and ends way too early. The meals at the hotel are really below average - you are better off exploring the restaurants in Ubud.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and our room was beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We loved spending time by the pool — it was relaxing with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and the backdrop of the forest was perfect!. The resort shuttle was also very convenient, running into town every couple of hours. Since our room was located at the lower part of the property, we could simply call reception to request a pick-up, which was very helpful. The on-site spa was lovely and made it easy to enjoy some extra relaxation. Our room was serviced daily, and the housekeeping was impeccable. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable and felt truly luxurious, with the sheets freshly steamed every day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The prices for food, drinks, and spa services at the resort are noticeably higher compared to options in town, but the convenience of having everything on-site is a definite trade-off. Our private pool was quite cold, as it didn’t receive much sunlight during the day, so we chose to swim in the main pool instead, which was lovely. While the restaurant food was of good quality, a little more variety — particularly with local dishes — would have been a welcome addition, as the menu was quite Westernized.

It was paradise! The property is gorgeous and the amenities is beyond amazing. You’d feel like your transported into another universe. The view from the pool and the executive room was legit gorg! 💚

Weren’t sure if it was the AC, but the room was smelly. The diffuser helped but did not fully removed the awful smell. There was almost nothing to do in the neighborhood. Still rated them high because it was still paradise on Earth! 💚

One of the most uniquely situated hotels we have ever stayed in. The views from the bar, restaurant & pool are unreal. It’s posers paradise, lots of young, beautiful instagrammers sharing its beauty with the world. The infinity pool, inclinator (lift to reach it) and pool bar offer views so stunning it’s difficult to compute. Beds & pillows are so comfy, I wish I’d made a note of their details. Rooms are quite small but perfectly formed, and you can forgive them for the location. Staff are attentive, kind and polite. Everyone was so friendly.

I feel bad for even mentioning it, considering the fact the hotel is perched on the side of a ravine, but the water pressure was poor, the shower and bath rhythmically surged in pressure and temperature.

Truly exceptional. The view, the pool, the food, the staff, everything was perfect. Very comfortable bed and pillows, big room, spacious bathroom. A la carte breakfast is super tasty and the additional buffet is great. Afternoon tea with bites included in the price is also very nice. View from the pool is breathtaking and the inclinator to get to it very useful. There is a different free activity every day (cultural, yoga, village tour..). The hotel is a 15min drive from Ubud center, but the location is still amazing. A free shuttle to/from the city is available several times a day. The staff is one of the highlights - always smiling, accommodating and so nice and helpful. The overall feel is one of luxury and total relaxation.

The food for breakfast, afternoon and the restaurant behind the hotel was very good, however the one in the restaurant in the second floor was mediocre. There is no warm water at the showers at the pool. Something in the pool makes everything (bathing suits etc) turn yellow if light-colored. Air conditioning and refrigerator in the room are a bit too loud.
