Our second room was absolutely gorgeous- the decor was just beautiful. We also loved relaxing around the inifinity pool in the afternoon and dining in the open air restaurant. We really liked the location as it was about 3km out of Ubud (which was crazy busy!) We particulary enjoyed walking along the pathway (30-40minute walk) through the rice fields into Ubud each day as you could watch the local Balinese people working in the fields. Sometimes we chose to book the complimentary shuttle into or back from Ubud when it was too hot! Also the resort staff invited us to one of their special local ceremonies and we even enjoyed a festive lunch with the staff. It was a very memorable experience. Lastly the complimentary massage in their resort spa was divine- the best we had whilst in Bali!

Our initial room did not meet our expectations as there was some plumbing issues with the toilet and it smelt terrible. However management moved us to another room and this room was simply beautiful!

Some of the guests do not respect the resort's policy in regards to tranquility and general silence, which affects the relaxing experience. Influencers are sometimes present with their drones over the pool area which is not pleasant when trying to relax hearing the loud drone noise. I believe the staff should enforce the rules of the resort in a more proactive manner.

I had a lovely stay at this beautiful property — it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. Getting to Ubud city center was super easy (I used Grab bikes), and while I didn’t use the free shuttle, it’s a great perk for those who want a hassle-free ride into town. The bed was so comfortable — I slept like a dream! I also appreciated the twice-daily room maintenance, including a nice turndown service in the evening. Breakfast was a real standout — absolutely incredible. I couldn’t get enough of the granola bowl and tofu scramble. I also had dinner at the on-site restaurant, The Botanist, which was delicious and super convenient when I wanted a relaxed night in.

I have to say, I didn’t totally love the fully outdoor bathroom situation. It was my first time staying somewhere with the shower completely outside, and while it sounds dreamy in theory (hello, tropical vibes), the reality was a little…awkward. One afternoon, I was mid-shower, soaking up the view — and suddenly locking eyes with a hotel maintenance guy tending the garden. 😂 To be fair, he immediately turned and walked away behind the foliage, but let’s just say my zen moment was over. That little surprise aside, I still really enjoyed my stay at Blue Karma and would totally recommend it. Just a heads-up: if you’re planning to enjoy the outdoor shower, definitely keep that privacy curtain all the way down unless you’re into unexpected guest appearances!

This resort is really something very special. We booked the room mimpi which had the hanging hammock. The jungle views were amazing. The room is very beautiful and decor fabulous, the bathroom is down stairs and huge with shampoo, conditioner, soaps, toothbrush etc supplied. Room is beautiful and cool. It’s a real little oasis. Room is huge with comfy bed and pillows. Staff went above and beyond with service. Food is delicious. It’s about 20 mins to town and has a shuttle bus leaving every hour until 8pm into Ubud town. Half hour notice. The grounds were superb. 10/10

Unfortunately the pool was very green and under treatment for a few days so we couldn’t use it. I book places with nice pools and like to use them. It’s a stunning pool with amazing views. Unfortunately the resort didn’t inform booking.com of this so we only stayed one night. The staff & managed refunded us our remaining 2 nights plus free dinner. Please check all ammenities are available before you book. No other problems and we will return as loved the jungle vibe and room so much.

The venue is stunning, with beautifully maintained surroundings and a serene atmosphere. The decoration of the rooms is absolutely charming, with a beautiful blend of traditional and modern elements that make the space feel cozy and stylish. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the added touch of the mosquito nets, which is not common everywhere. The cleanliness and tidiness of the entire place were top-notch, and it’s clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the property. Beautiful pool with stunning views! The food is a highlight—breakfast was delicious every morning, and the lunch and dinner menu options were equally impressive. Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay!

There is not much to like about this property. Set more at the top of Ubud it is extremely peaceful. The pool is amazing and a great restaurant and plenty of cabanas around the garden to lounge around in.

If I had to say something which was not a huge issue it would of been my mattress - would grade this a 7 out of 10 and my room was not a isolated villa it was suite next door to someone else’s where I could here everything at night.

The food was exceptional, with a variety of delicious options that catered to every taste. And, of course, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax. I absolutely loved my stay at Blue Karma! My room was spacious with a beautiful view of lush greenery. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the open bathroom, with its stunning dark tiles, was just perfect. The swimming pool was a wonderful spot to relax, and the restaurant offered exceptional service and delicious food. Although it’s only 10-15 minutes from town, the location was ideal for me as I was seeking peace and tranquility, and this place delivered that in abundance. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. I can’t recommend Blue Karma enough – it’s a true haven of relaxation!

Everything! The staff were absolutely amazing and to us that made the stay the most special. So accomodating and great service. They are Truly the most beautiful people :) the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and tranquil just what we were looking for to relax. We ate most meals at the restaurant in the 4 nights and each one was absolutely amazing. The staff helped with some great recommendations of places to go see which we would not of done if they were not so helpful with the information. Ventured to Kintamani by scooter we hired which was unreal up above the clouds and cold and then in the beautiful batur hot springs to warm up. The view from our room with the hammock was lovely also :) thanks again Blue Karma Ubud we will be back :)
