Absolutely stunning resort at a very reasonable price! The atmosphere is amazing and the area is fantastic and quiet! Extremely clean outside and inside, they regularly clean your room and the whole place to ensure the best experience. The swimming area is great too! Tasty breakfast and they offer many services, such as airport transfer, scooter rentals, tours and many more activities. The staff is amazing, extremely friendly and polite and always available during the day.

If you’re staying for a short time, the breakfast if great, however if you’re staying for multiple nights then the breakfast options is limited, but not such a big deal. Reason why I’m not giving 10 starts is because: The ac is a problem during the day, as soon as it gets hot outside the ac doesn’t work at all and is not pleasant staying inside the room as it gets very hot and humid, so what’s the point of having an ac during a hot day if it doesn’t manage to cool the room? They can offer a fan as a backup but that’s not the best option unfortunately. So if you’re planning to rest in be during the day, I guess you won’t be able to do so due to the heat.

Ananda J J Villas is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The rooms are stunning, especially the ones on the second floor, where you can enjoy lovely views and lots of natural light. The surroundings are breathtaking, with lush rice fields stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s quiet, serene, and perfect for relaxation. The pool is fantastic, great for cooling off and enjoying the atmosphere. Breakfasts are delicious, with a nice variety of options. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure you have everything you need. A truly wonderful stay!

I don’t unterstand some of the bad reviews because I enjoyed my stay so much here! I booked the Deluxe Bungalow (would recommend to everyone)! and it was so cozy. I wanted to stay 2 nights but extended for two more nights. The location is nice too because it’s in a very calm area so if you look for a quite and calm place, this hotel is perfect for you. It’s a 15 mins bike ride from Ubud Center. There are some restaurants around the hotel if you don’t want to eat there. I loved to sit at the patio and watch over the ricefields. The pool looked nice too even though I didn’t use it. The two girls that work at the reception are angels! They are so kind and friendly! The only thing that was a little bit annoying was that the AC was really weak so at daytime the room was quite warm but it didn’t bother me too much because it was decently cold in the evening! When I come back to Ubud I will definitely stay there again!!

Location is very nice, staff super friendly, easily accessible. All rooms have aircon which is definitely a plus. The swimming pool also very nice and clean.

I do feel that they can put a little more effort in cleaning the rooms as well as put new coffee cups and refill the coffee and sugar on a daily basis. give clean towels maybe every third day and also clean bedding every third day or so.

Very nice and calm location a bit outside the city. The swimming pool was so nice as well as the decor of the rooms. The staff was lovely and we had such a nice stay.

Some spaces could have been cleaner (found an old bandaid), the door to the bathroom was so hard to open and close and so noisy. The ac was also very loud but we did not need to have it on for the night so it was not a real problem.

I wanted to stay away from the busy part of Ubud, but close enough to take about 10 minutes on a motorbike taxi to get into the centre when I needed to. The location was perfect. It was quiet and relaxing. The room was traditional style and the buildings were rustic and charming.

The breakfast choices were very basic. Everything else about the hotel was as I expected.

The view of rice fields was good. Staff was very proactive and service was excellent. It had lots of cats roaming around, very good. The ducks cross the rice field every morning, which is an excellent sight to see. The rooms and bathrooms are also very nice.

The facility is quite old, so the wood keeps cracking. Unfortunately, my bed broke down on the last day of our stay in the morning, however the staff got it repaired by the afternoon, for which I am very grateful.

The room was very pretty. I loved the bath tub and the bed was comfy. Very big room with a lot detail. Breakfast was good price and the location was stunning. The staff was very friendly.

There was a construction site in front of my bedroom and I could not sleep in. They will be working since 8 in the morning. Walls were very thin and you could hear all kind of noises like if you were outside. I could not sleep deeply.

The property was in a good location over looking the rice fields so was a lot more peaceful than central Ubud but still close to things and a shop within walking distance. The pool was relaxing and had spa facilities on site, which were ok.

The staff weren’t very present but this didn’t bother us too much with only staying 2 nights and never knew if the restaurant was open or not.

when ordering food at the hotel, the food we ordered was out of stock and the staff added an additional delivery fee instead of informing us that something was missing, we had no opportunity to choose something else because they did not inform us about it, they just charged us a fee :(
