The incredible peace and quiet! Love this place for it being away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud.. the view from my balcony was incredible and I loved being able to hear the river from below.. GREAT comfy pillows! Being able to order 3 meals per day if you don't want to go out is a bonus, as you have to go out walking far or on a scooter to find anything to eat The pool area has one of the best views possible! Nice to have a massage/spa center to! Everything in one spot!

The whole place is overlooking a deep forested gully, which means A.LOT of steps, and they're very steep and very high steps, almost needing another step in between. Definitely only for the fit and able... The wait on food was often long, so don't be in a hurry or too hungry before you order from the kitchen! Food is average... but it was ample. The motorcycles they hire out are pretty old, especially the Vario's, old to the point of dangerous.. so a good thing to be aware of..

The place was magical. Such a bargain for the environment we were in. The staff are very accommodating. They offered many additional services like in-house spa ,transport,tours and even personalised messages written with flowers!

One of the rooms we picked was overrun by mosquitoes, the other 2 were fine. The staff provided us with incense to help with the mosquitoes. The rooms further away from reception were quite a climb down. I would not recommend the repeated Trek for those with knee problems/are pregnant but it is part of the experience.

Loved my king suite wood cabin, very private and peaceful. Beautiful jungle views and sound of the flowing river. Conveniently close (15 min scooter ride) to Ubud but quiet and 2km away to a ricefield area with a couple of nice restaurants. Simple but convenient food/restaurant, nice pool to chill.

nothing really, just be aware of some steep stairs if you stay in one of the cabins closer down to the river.

The room was perfect, the bathroom huuuge The pool has a magical view on the jungle You can rent a scooter from the hotel, around 6€ a day The hotel is near Ubud center, like 10min scooter, and close to Tegalallang rice terraces also ! The staff was really really nice :)

Bring your sleep mask as the curtains are not very occulting ! and it’s a little bit noisy.

We stayed Doni House for 2 nights at Ubud. This is how we experienced. Our room was very spacious and face to swimming pool with jungle view. The view in the morning are very stunning and beautiful. You can heard the birds chipping from the jungle during morning. The toilet was very big space and come with bathtub. The hotel receiptionist are very friendly. They introduced us the best babi guling in ubud called Ajik Putra Babi Guling nearby the hotel with walking distance around 5 minutes.

The location are little bit far to city center. But since we are driving motorbike its acceptable for us.

Awesome location. Ubud central is extremely busy and we didn't want to spend there any second longer then needed. This location is nicely tucked away in the quiteter side of the city. Just a few hundred meters away from the main road, but it feels like you're in the middle of the woods.

Sheets didn't seems entirely white, had some spots on them. Didn't think it was dirty, just a bit old

One of the most beautiful places we stayed in Bali..... it was absolutely indulgent. The room overlooked lush jungle, the bed was so comfortable, and balinese music played throughout the day. The staff were so helpful and we loved the huge breakfasts! Waaaay better than staying in the centre of Ubud!

The staff was great, the have a great driver (Momba) who is super friendly. They always have good tips for your trip and a great tourist offers. The breakfast was great, the bed comfortable and the pool beautifully.

Our room was a bungalow. The mosquito net wasn’t big enough for the bed, it was decoration not funcional. It was very dirty. The shower can be super hot so be carefully. The pool was small with only 4 hamacas so you have to be faster than the others rooms.

The accommodation is about 20min outside of Ubud center by scooter. It take a bit to get a Grab there but if you know that it’s totally fine. We loved our little hut that was rustic but had a authentic vibe. The pool is small but has a stunning view and became one of our favorite spots on the property. It’s a quite property with a jungley feel. We had an amazing stay!

Our hud was located right below the dining area and it’s was quite noisy if people were there (even if they only had a regular conversation). As we were still jet laged this was a bit exhausting in the morning.

It was jungle infront of my room and it was so quiet. Staff are very friendly and their floating breakfast at pool is amazing. Novi from receptions was really nice. Breakfast also nice at dinning room.
