The owners of the hotel were incredibly lovely and welcoming. They made our stay so special and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. They recommended activities and took us to local places (such as rice paddies). The breakfast was incredible, fresh, vegetarian food - and we had this as a floating breakfast in a pool one day. The bedroom was amazing, especially the outside bathroom. I went to the 7:00am yoga class every morning which was brilliant and such a great way to start the day. The location was great as it was near the centre of Ubud and easy to get to, but not in the busy town centre.

Location whilst is away from the main town - is so lush and GREEN that it’s worth it. Absolute jungle vibes and sounds to match - so beautiful when relaxing. Monkeys sighted on site. Butterflies flying through. Beautiful! We brought a group of 20 for our own private retreat. The hotel hosted our welcome dinner plus breakfast every morning with a fully vegan spread as requested. The chef was unbelievably talented. The food blew our minds on the daily, so impressed. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, had lovely character, bathrooms were outdoors but sheltered, loved the connection with nature. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is one of my favorite resorts that I've ever stayed in. The location was gorgeous. You're close to Ubud center, but away enough that you don't hear any noise other than the sounds of the rainforest. The free breakfast was exceptional. I was able to order off the menu and every vegan thing I ordered was absolutely delicious. All of the food was amazing. I ate there a lot when I was too tired to go find something in town. The staff are the sweetest people ever. So accommodating and helpful and they made me the most beautiful surprise on my birthday. The free morning yoga classes is also amazing and not to be missed. And you'll have the most gorgeous view from either of the two yoga platforms. I also did a few massages at their spa and it was glorious. I can't wait to come back here. If you're considering booking Being Sattva, do it. You won't regret it. (I stayed in the pool suite and absolutely loved it.)

Wow. BeingSattva is a true gem of Bali. Perfect location - town center is a quick ride away, still convenient, but it was really perfect to be outside of the hustle and bustle of Ubud. There are also waterfalls nearby and the owners, Subba and Renuka, are extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about providing recommendations and support for outings off the grounds. About the grounds… just wow. You really feel like you’re smack in the middle of the jungle while luxuriating in the most beautiful accommodations, from the rooms to the infinity pool to the yoga pavilion. I really appreciated the healthy, wholesome vegetarian cuisine - especially the breakfast. It was an extremely welcome respite from the heavier, meat-forward cuisine in town. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay and I enjoyed the complimentary yoga every morning. My only regret is not staying longer. I won’t be making that mistake when I return, which I hope will be soon. Thank you, Subba, Renuka and the whole BeingSattva family!

The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by nature and greenery. Is far away enough from the centre that is quiet and relaxing but close enough that you get there easily. The hotel provided free shuttles to and from the centre during the day. Wifi is free and reliable in every part of the hotel. The food is only vegetarian and vegan but they offer lots of variety and yummy food. We tried the morning yoga once and it was good and flexible to different levels of skill. The accommodation is clean and housekeeping is very attentive. The spa offers good massages, would recommend their signature one :) the staff is so, so lovely. Can't praise them enough. I celebrated my birthfay there and they went above and beyond to make it special - surprised me with a cake and sang happy birthday when I came back from dinner, offered complementary floating breakfast in the private pool and decorated the bedroom. We left the hotel at 3am to do the Mount Batour sunrise tour (you must do this!) and they organised a delicious breakfast box for us to take!!! Special thanks to Mona, Dewa and Soni for being so amazing.

Great hosts with excellent service by staff. The hosts took extra care to cater our vegetarian dietary choices. Further they were always available to give us tips and share a tip or two to make our stay that much more enjoyable. The property is located in a serene place and is a great choice to take a break amidst lush green surroundings! Matur Suksma to the hosts Subba and Renuka and to the service staff !

BeingSattvaa is a gorgeous property in Ubud with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The property is lush green and you are right in the middle of trees and nature. Their swimming pool, which is surrounded by trees, is a unique feature of the property. The food, especially the breakfast was a delight everyday. The smoothie bowl was yum!

The entire experience at BeingSattva was just perfect. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay a thoroughly enjoyable experience. They looked after us so well for the entire trip. The facilities are in a stunning and peaceful location and are clean, spacious and comfortable. I cannot recommend BeingSattva and the lovely staff more highly. If you want a peaceful get away for relaxation this is the place for you. The hustle and bustle of Ubud is close by and plenty of sightseeing and activities on hand when you want.

cannot mention one thing that I didn't like. Oh - it rained a lot and it was the dry season :-)

When we arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes, this is how paradise would look like. Surrounded by forest, BeingSattvaa is nicely fitted into the surrounding nature. All very well made, very, very helpfull and friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast served, you should try the vegan options.From here it is very easy to visit activities and Ubud. Try river tubing, it is very fun.

Absolutely nothing.

BeingSattvaa is truly jungle heaven. We had one of the pool rooms, and I can't recommend it enough. You are surrounded by tropical loveliness and wake up to the sounds of the forest. The room is beautiful and the bathroom has an absolutely divine bathtub (ask them for bath salts!). It was a treat just spending time in the room, in the bath, or in the pool. It's like being immersed in nature while at the same time enjoying all the luxuries. The whole property is beautiful, green, and wonderfully maintained. The yoga shala is lovely and the instructors are fantastic. We loved the spa as well and had one of the best Balinese massages ever. Shuttle services into Ubud are every two hours and very convenient. The whole staff at BeingSattvaa is helpful, friendly, and accommodating. All in all we had an absolutely wonderful time!

We were disappointed that BeingSattvaa was not more accommodating to vegans. They had some vegan menu items, but most of the items were vegetarian and could only be veganized by removing something like egg or cheese. In other words, they didn't have a vegan replacement. Other properties we stayed at that were not even vegetarian had a lot more vegan breakfast items as well, whereas BeingSattvaa only had vegan pancakes for the 4 days we were there. Very repetitive. At other places in Bali, we had more than one smoothie bowl option, tofu scrambles, avocado toast, corn fritters, and different kinds of porridge. I suggest to BeingSattvaa that you have more vegan options, since everyone including vegetarians can eat them and it's inclusive to most dietary needs!
