Peaceful location. We had the presidential suite with jacuzzi and heated pool. Staff exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Flexible and always trying to make our stay as perfect as possible. Floating breakfast and candlelight dinner in our room was amazing. Breakfast had good options.

The double bedroom villa rooms were amazing ,with a large sitting and dining area and an additional bathroom too ! The heated swimming pool was pure luxury and did the job of soothing off the days tiredness The adjacent forest view is lovely . On the down side the rooms do need noise proof doors and windows cause the water stream below does disturb u a little at night . Also there is no buffet breakfast - so one has to order which takes some time . Overall a great experience

The doors and windows should be soundproof and curtains need to be dark out ones ! No buffet breakfast so preying some rakes time

Any words I use will not do this property justice. Don’t even think, just book. The staff are 20/10. They treat you like you are the most important person in the hotel. The room was beautiful with the pool - bathroom was huge, the main pool was an absolute sanctuary, and breakfast is THE BEST. We had an included massage which was divine, with the sounds of the jungle and river. I also left my Kindle in the room when we checked out & they WhatsApped me straight away and organised for it to be sent to our next hotel. Will 100% be back to the Sebali Resort.

I had a great experience during my stay at The Sebali Resort! The staff were absolutely fantastic – warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My villa had a breathtaking view of the waterfall – 10/10. Waking up to the sound of cascading water and the serene jungle surroundings was one of the highlights of my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, though I think a little extra deep cleaning (maybe just a bit more bleach) could enhance the overall feel. I’d rate the rooms an 8/10. The restaurant was incredible – the food was delicious (10/10), and I really appreciated the variety of local Balinese dishes on the menu. It gave the dining experience an authentic and flavorful touch. The resort’s location is ideal, with easy access to Ubud’s main attractions. They offer a free shuttle to the Ubud centre, and I also did a custom sightseeing excursion. My guide, Hendra, was exceptional – professional, friendly, and full of local insight. A lovely touch was the complimentary photoshoot to capture special moments around the resort. Just a heads-up: confirm any costs upfront in case you decide to go beyond the basic offering – lesson learned… haha! Overall, The Sebali Resort was a wonderful place to unwind and soak in the beauty of Ubud. I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful, scenic, and culturally rich stay.

The spa was a bit underwhelming, and didn’t quite match the quality of the other facilities. The yoga session was enjoyable, though I did feel the instructor focused more on other guests, which made the experience feel a bit uneven.

We can really recommend the resort. It has great staff, always ready to help. The hotel is located in a quiet area where you can really enjoy the Ubud jungle vibe. We really enjoyed our stay here. They also organize customized trips with their private drivers and they were really great guides and provided a lot of insight into Balinese culture (highly recommended). The hotel restaurant has great food and drinks with a decent variety for you to choose from.

If I really have to choose a negative, the in-house spa provides a great massage, but it is quite short in duration for the charged price compared to other spas in Ubud.

Beautiful oasis surrounded by nature. Located on the outskirts of Ubud on the side of the river . Feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. The resort is made of different buildings located at different levels connected by bridges and stairs. This gives it a very unique design. The rooms were big and well equipped, comfortable bed, AC, well stocked mini bar free of charge. Fresh fruit and water every day. The rooms were cleaned twice a day and towels and various amenities were always replenished. The restaurant has live performances 3 nights a week, music and balinese dances. The food is exceptional. Very tasty and beautifully presented. Ubud has many places to have a nice meal and we have stayed in other resorts in Bali, but the quality of the food in Sebali resort is, in my opinion, one of the best I’ve experienced. Simple, healthy and delicious. The staff are very very nice and ready to help with anything. The spa is beautiful. Can offer both single and couples treatments. There are packages for massage and jacuzzi bath with flowers or citrus. There are also options for floating breakfast in the room pool and also flower art in the private pool. Yoga classes are 3 times a week. They are ran on a middle deck. Mats are provided. The resort can arrange transport to and from airport and day trips to the surrounding attractions. There is a shuttle 4 times a day to and from Ubud. The prices are reasonable. You might find cheaper (with 2-300k Rp) with the drivers in town but I thought is not worth the hassle of finding one for the extra 10£. The driver from the resort was very good, made extra stops for us . The cars are big SUVs with AC. Water is provided for the trips. If you walk up from the resort 10min you are in the rice fields. There is a waterfall in walking distance too.

Not really a dislike but reading previous comments some things people should be aware: - as said the resort has variable buildings at various levels all connected by stairs. If you have a physical disability getting from A to B might be difficult. - the resort is in the jungle. The jungle is not a sterile environment. Creepy crawlies were there before the resort and will be there after. There are insects moving around like ants and flies and other types that might occasionally join you in the pool. - the resort is expanding so there is some construction going on at lower deck. Didn’t inconvenience us. The lower deck spa operates after 17:00 when constructors are gone.

Staff very kind and very helping. Surroundings were amazing.

We were extremely happy with our 1 bedroom pool villa and privacy overllooking the jungle. Breakfast was exceptional and as always in Bali truly polite and friendly staff throughout the Hotel. The massage was excellent . Recommend the Crispy Duck local dish.

Please put non slip in the showers, We found alot of the walkways rather slippery especially from reception to the restaurant and pool. A shame only 1 restaurant opened during our stay .

A serene beauty in nature, a wonderful memorable place, the staff is very helpful.

Its a bit far from everything, but we woke up early and did tours that the hotel provides and the driver takes you everywhere.

There’s nothing but positive things to say about this resort. The staff were amazing, attentive extremely polite. The room was as the pictures showed, nothing short of stunning. The free breakfast and tea were very generous and tasty! The restaurant attached provided beautiful food at a very reasonable price and the massage spa was absolutely divine. This resort was the highlight of my trip to Bali, I cannot recommend this resort enough.
