I really love its scenery. The hotel experience was simply amazing. The hotel provides useful shuttles to Ubud centre and has a great restaurant. We stayed here 9 years ago and now we've repeated again, the amazing was so excellent as before. I strongly recommend this hotel. I wouldn't serve floating breakfast in the main pool. But everything was stunnly perfect, I cannot say anything wrong about this hotel.

Amazing location- just outside of the very centre of Ubud but easily accessible with Gojek The staff were incredible The breakfast and food was brilliant, the breakfast was 3 courses! Very comfortable rooms, large bed, great aircon Presentation of the room upon arrival- honeymoon decorations were beautiful Toiletries in the room were lovely. The room was cleaned daily The infinity pool was lovely and clean and the view was amazing.

The only slight upset was that on departure, we were accused of stealing a face cloth, to the point that a member of reception ran to our taxi to say that housekeeping has reporting a missing face cloth and where had we put it. Now, when you’ve paid a lot of money, to stay in this sort of hotel, to be accused of stealing a face cloth, really left a bad lasting impression. Drinks and food were relatively expensive compared to Ubud restaurants We visited the Kayon Jungle, this resort had a very different vibe. If you’re looking for relaxation and a small personal resort, the Kayon is for you. The Jungle resort was full of Instagram type people, taking lots of pictures and not really living in the moment. Was nice to visit for an afternoon but so glad we stayed at the Kayon Resort.

This was our second stay at the Kayon Resort and we are glad we decided to return. The staff and service were great, nothing was too much trouble. They were also able to easily accommodate my husband’s gluten intolerance at breakfast and the times we had dinner there.

The kayon is usually a little slice of peace and quiet away from the craziness of central Ubud and this is why we wanted to return. Unfortunately they are currently doing some major construction at the hotel which we were only informed of when we arrived and the noise did impact our stay and took away from some of the experience we were hoping for.

The hotel is in a stunning location in the middle of the jungle but is also very well connected to Ubud thanks to the free shuttle, which makes it peaceful but also not isolated. The Spa is a bit expensive but therapists are great and probably we had in there our best massages of our stay in Bali. The kindness of the staff and their general attitude was outstanding. Everyone in the staff from the restaurant to the Spa was just so lovely to interact with. They also had a great service recovery and made up for a few little problems during the stay.

Being in the jungle and so close to the waterfall makes it very humid in the room (although probably it didn’t help that we had rain the first few days). We found the Villa to be a bit overpriced for what you get and cleaning standards for the room and the pool in the Villa could be improved.

One of the most comforting Zen experiences I've had where there's never a dull moment. We stayed here for 3 nights and there was an activity or a dinner performance planned for each day... Everything from their restaurant to rooms to spa, pool to touring the property touched our heart. The location is out of the world...in the middle of the jungle beside a waterfall and river. Special thanks to Saiya who was an amazing host, she helped us relentlessly with our Gili bookings and had some amazing stories to share . Also Ayu ( both ladies), Sang Aya and Wayan had been extremely warm and helpful ... Loved the personal photographer, the infinity pool, margapati dance and definitely recommend the food( Fillet Mignon, Nasi Goreng is truly tasty) and spa here!

This place is one of the best places I have ever experienced. From the moment I stepped in to when I checked out I was in heaven. My check-in was very late but the resort had a sandwich waiting for me and my suitcase in my room.I am A solo traveller, and normally I feel a little anxious/miss home but this place never gave me that feeling. My room had beautiful veiws, monkeys, a flowing river. Breakfast was exceptional and the service even more amazing. I did yoga every morning and had a lush massage every other day. The staff are so friendly attentive and the service is fast. The lychee martini was the real deal. Highly recommend this place. Yes it is a little far from central Ubud but the hotel Offer a shuttle service.

The staff were extremely friendly and attentitive, taking the time to personally get to know us and learn our names. Every member of staff was very friendly - Doni and Nani as well as a number of others whose names we have unfortunately forgotten. The events that were put on in evenings were brilliant and gave you an opportunity to learn and understand Balinese culture. The shuttle service into the centre of Ubud was really helpful. The hotel is located close enough to Ubud to enjoy what is has to offer, but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the area and be removed from the busy centre. The room, spa and facilities were lovely.

It would be helpful if the shuttle service into Ubud could start earlier. Also, if there was yoga in the late afternoon aswell as morning.

I don't even know where to start... The staff was super friendly and welcomed us with a green shot/special drink. The room was spacious, the bathroom was nice and very big, additionally, as soon as we left our room, someone came and made the bed/ looked if everything was okay. (Maybe that wouldn't have been necessary 3-4 times a day, we felt like celebrities, once a day would have been fine 😄) Someone served us the afternoon tea (which would have been offered every day) at our room with sweet pastries. Once we dined at the hotel - it was superb + there was an amazing singer who made it really romantic ☺️ The pool had a great view view over the jungle My wife participated twice in morning yoga - which was very beginner friendly There was a shuttle service from and to the city and additionally they organized a moto for two days (price was very fair) for us. I probably forgot something 😄 all in all, amazing

Well the stay was really, really expensive, but we knew it in advance and we deliberately booked this hotel at the end of a 3 week backpacking trip to unwind and they kept what was promised online.

The resort, location, food, cleanliness were excellent but the staff was absolutely extraordinary. The front desk and the restaurant staff took the time to get to know me and my daughter, always welcomed us back, remembered our names and constantly asked us if we needed anything. There was a time when I had lunch by myself and immediately, they thought my daughter wasn't feeling well. They offerred to bring her food to the room. I told them that she was taking a nap :) I'm so glad I booked this resort. It was worth the $$$ and I cannot think of anything that I didn't like. I would 100% go back to this place again and would highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you staff at Kayun Resort!! You made our trip in Bali a great one!!
