We were staying in the Villa with private swimming pool and one bedroom. It is situated next to some rice fields, so the villa has a really nice view and yet it is private. Many villa's on Bali are surrounded by four walls, but this has a really open view on the south side and three walls on the other sides. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and that made our stay unforgettable. We stayed 7 days, then toured the island in different hotels, and had not yet decided where to stay the last 9 days of our one-month stay and decided to simply return to Anumana Village for another 9 days! That is how much we liked it!

This resort is exceptional value for money. It’s in a great quiet area 20min outside of the hectic and chaotic Ubud. They offer a free shuttle service into Ubud (we didn’t use it) three times a day and also free bicycle rental. We come to this area a lot for short getaway holidays and normally would have to spend a lot more money to get a resort like this. So happy we have found this place. Be aware that you are in a rural setting. So expect the consequent gecko, cikades, rooster and pig noises:) Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here!!

Breakfast was average but the coffee was great. Sometimes staff English was a bit of a challenge but this is normal for smaller resorts in the area. None of which dampened our great experience at this place

This place is wonderful - one of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed in. The room is spacious, with comfy beds, excellent airconditioning, a fridge with a mini-bar. When you go outside you're in a tropical garden, everything is so beautiful, the surrounding rice fields.. The staff are super helpful. The hotel offers a shuttle into and from Ubud 4 times a day - for free. If you need transport outside these hours you can book them as well and pay less than a normal taxi would cost. For us it was the perfect combination, being flexible when we wanted to go into Ubud but also coming back and staying in a quiet place away from all the hussle.

We have stayed at many 5-Star, 5-Diamond properties over the years. And I have to tell you that the facilities and the people at the Anumana Village in Ubud, Bali achieve levels of excellence even beyond the St. Regis in Deer Valley Utah, the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, and the Marriott Marquis in New York City. This was our first time in Bali and we absolutely fell in love with the culture, the food, the nature beauty and especially the people. We credit this to the Anumana staff, who went far above and beyond the usual resort hotel experiences. We enjoyed customized private tours, traditional Balinese clothes, exquisite food prepared to our preferences, and deep personal attention to our desire to really experience the heart and soul of Bali.

Hotel took care of making a 125cc scooter available for rent. With my wife on the back seat, we did 1000km going around. Hote crispy duck is a killer !!! yummy !!! A couple of authentic local street food places not far away spice up our gourmet tastes.

uncoated peanut in the fridge (i.e. without sugar). Local crunchy garlic peanuts are so delicious!!!! would love to have lemon-flavored local beer in the fridge.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is tranquil and peaceful—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the bedroom was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed.

The only downside is the distance to Ubud center. While it's not right in the middle of the action, the hotel does offer a free shuttle to their sister property, which is about a 25-minute walk to Ubud Palace. The shuttle runs four times a day (11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm). On a couple of occasions, we were the only ones in the car, and the driver kindly dropped us off at the art market right across from Ubud Palace—such a thoughtful gesture!

The room and hotel were very clean and tidy. Lovely pool with great outlook over the rice fields and jungle. The pool was never crowded. They also offered snacks but we did not try these. The Balinese evening was good fun, food and dancing very enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, includes coffee, juice and selection from a la carte menu. We enjoyed everything we tried.

The rooms back onto a road. There is also chickens which means it is noisy in the mornings. The last shuttle back from town is at 17:30. It would be good to have a 21:30 to allow you to see the amazing night life in Ubud.

the shuttle service timings could have been more flexible. as riding a scooter to the location is a little challenging and shuttle service after hours cost is a little high

Loved our room and the service was so wonderful. Everyone was very friendly, happy and helpful. It's set in a village so you get to experience village life and they have a shuttle bus that takes you to the main street in Ubud - however we would probably have preferred to go somewhere less busy - it was chaotic! It's about 20 minutes drive to get to the central area. We loved they had free bikes to use so we ride around and have a look. There is a laundry close by if you need your washing done and they have a spa in the resort but would book ahead. The pool and grounds were wonderful.

Unfortunately, during our stay there was a lot of chainsaw noise everyday from the cutting down of palm trees, and one of the fallen ones clipped the internet line so we were without a means of communication for several days and no TV either. It was an inconvenience as we had to work and touch base with family but couldn't. It was really the only thing we found difficult.

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped accommodation. The room was clean and comfortable, the small garden attached to the room is beautiful and very private. The entire area of ​​the hotel is beautifully maintained, there is a rice field next to the pool. The staff is very kind, attentive and extremely helpful, they help to solve everything, they pay close attention to the guests' wishes. The breakfast and the dishes from the menu were delicious. The hotel is further from the center of Ubud, but there is a shuttle from the hotel twice a day. In exchange for the distance, it is very peaceful, you can really retreat and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend it.
