This place is outstanding, from the moment you check in, you are treated like family, the accommodation is just amazing, so clean and so well designed, the pool is just perfect, the breakfast is amazing and very filling. I would also highly recommend eating dinner here aswell it's some of the best food I have ever tried. The staff are just simply amazing, and whatever you need, they go out off their way to sort it. Great local knowledge off the area and will direct you to the best places to go. I would highly recommend it, and I will definitely be coming back. The only issue I had is that we didn't stay longer. This is how a hotel should be run.

I loved everything, just a tip your in a middle off rice field's so don't complain about the sounds of grasshoppers and the geckos

The location and little villas were lovely

There is no restaurant. It is about a 4 km walk to the centre so we downloaded Grab for bike taxis and food delivery for evening meals when we didn't want to eat in a restaurant which worked well but the fact there is no restaurant wasn't made clear on booking.

The best thing about Ubud Luwih are the peaceful surroundings and the staff ! It is a very small complex so you don't see the other guests much. We've enjoyed all our breakfast options. The Restaurant is also open for lunch dinner or snacks so it is handy when you don't want to leave the villa ..Congratulations to the young cook. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was big with a lovely bath, great water pressure and instant hot water. It was situated next to an old rice field(amazingly no mosquitoes) very private with a little garden. The pool was clean and well maintained.It is outside Ubud but with Grab car service it is around $4 AUD

Nothing very important

I liked the large room, along with the shower which was nice warm water and the staff ( Wayan, Made, Tadek, Ilu, Wayan and Comeng) were wonderful, friendly and attentive. The location is definitely out of the main tourist route, so made it very nice and relaxing

Not a lot to dislike, if anything i would say the road to the retreat is in need of repair. Also since the bathroom is open air, there is a large possibility, you'll get some insects in your room

everything were perfect, the room's interior, location, food, most welcoming staff, very calm and peaceful place, good to observe stars at the night there is two different roads toward the hotel, and one is a good one! so, don't be afraid, if your taxi driver comes from a different one the good and safe road is in the middle of rice fileds, if you rent a bike, check it out, dont try yourself on the steep one

A beautiful property 10 mins from Ubud. Right in amongst rice paddies. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our kids loved being surrounded by nature. Lizards, frogs, butterflies, nature lovers paradise. Food was good too. Easy to get into town but feels like you are miles away. Highly recommend.

Super nice place, very quiete but then a little bit away from the city (you cannot go by walking). The room was very clean and nice. The bed was soooooo confy, one of my best night in Bali. The area is very nice. I recommend to stay there if you want to take a break from the city. The fact that you can have a massage in your room is so nice.

The view is not the best on the rice field from the garden of the room.

The stay was good, the location is close to the city center, about 8 minutes by motorbike. The staff at the residence are good and helpful and always have a smile on their faces. The breakfast is varied and delicious

The TV does not have foreign channels. And the internet wasn't fast enough

The villa is set in lovely surroundings and has a wonderful lush nature feel. We enjoyed exceptional hospitality from all the staff, who were so quick to help us with any questions or help to arrange tours/drivers. The bedroom was spacious and luxurious with an open air bathroom. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit and juices prepared each morning. We spent a fair bit of time in the pool - the temperature was perfect and the garden setting was very relaxing. A special mention to their driver Kadek who we had the pleasure of road tripping with for two days. He was a lot of fun! We would stay again for sure next time we are in Ubud.

Nothing to not like

Absolutely wonderful stay! The accommodation was comfortable and surrounded by stunning rice fields, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend for a genuine and relaxing experience!
