Everything! Don’t listen to any negative comments! This place is a miracle and you can't book enough days to enjoy this wonderful place. The host, the food, the facilities are second to none. The best place I've ever been. we didn't meet any animals, Casa Pohu is a real paradise on earth.

Pool water was a little cold, and the villa location is a bit isolated.

Casa POHN is a luxury resort. The location was great with the feeling of being inside a jungle, surrounded by trees, seclusion and at the same time, provides you with all the comforts possible. The staff was very responsive and welcoming. They were mindful of the requests I had made for a flower arrangement for my families bdays; which they did complimentary. If in Bali again, am definitely staying there again!

Nothing to not like, just that there are separate villas, each with own layout, so you will be given what is suitable for your occupancy. The road to get here is thin but our driver (arranged by them) was very well versed with roads there and could get there easily.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The villa itself is stunning – beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and surrounded by peaceful nature. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the breathtaking views, was perfect. What truly made our experience unforgettable, however, was the team. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging transport, preparing delicious breakfasts, or simply making sure we were comfortable, they took care of everything with genuine care and professionalism. We felt completely relaxed and at home – like part of the family. This place is a hidden gem, and we cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect – we truly have no complaints.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Pohon. The villa was beautiful, calm, with high ceilings, huge windows and rustic feel! We loved the sunken living room and amazing views of the trees from the bedroom and bathrooms. The generous breakfast was also a treat (loved the pancakes!) and the birthday surprise which was a lovely touch! Location wise it is outside central Ubud and there’s not much around the immediate vicinity in terms of restaurants etc. However, the staff were really friendly and overall we really enjoyed our stay here!

The location was a little tricky as others have mentioned. The villa is down an awkward narrow road which many drivers don’t want to come down. Usually ok if you order a small car but sometimes drivers will cancel. It is possible to get the hotel to help send a driver but the rates are almost double the cost of a Grab. Not an issue but worth noting there is no bannister on the stairs up to the bedrooms. We had two kids under 3yrs so had to keep eye on them and it was fine but might be useful to know!

As far as a property is concerned, when you dream of Bali, you dream of a place like Casa Pohon. It’s nestled in the midst of Bali rice fields and close to all of the most amazing attractions and activities. They have drivers who can take you anywhere you wish. Casa Pohon’s driver Budi became a friend. He was wonderful. The property itself is beautiful with tropical flowers, luscious plants and amazing sounds of birds and cicadas waking you up in the morning . When you wake up to the open air living room, you breathe Bali It is luxurious, quiet, peaceful. The breakfast there is delicious from fried rice to yogurt bowls to pancakes accompanied by balinese coffees and tropical juices. You can even get a floating breakfast as you swim in the pool. Little touches make Casa Pohon excellent- from the complimentary aromatic bug spray, the potable water jugs refills to the water bottles in the bathroom, they thought of everything to make you stay comfortable. Customer service is on point. I communicated with Whatsapp and the response was immediate. Kris and Rika were very friendly and accommodating. Communication is clear a week before travel and during your whole stay. I couldn’t recommend any other place. I’ll be back very soon.

Loved everything.

My stay at Casa Pohon was delightful. First, the villa is incredible and worth its price. An amazing experience in the jungle, with privacy. It has been a while I did not get such a deep sleep. Second, the staff is very accommodating and responsive. My driver, that I booked externally, cancelled last minute and the staff at the Casa Pohon found one for me instantly. Everything you need, they have. And if they don’t, they will find it for you. Finally, they organised the activities for me (i.e., ATV, private tour). It was very fun, and memorable. While I was a bit reluctant to book it as it is slightly on the higher side from a pricing perspective, I believe the quality of service and the comfort of the villa make it totally worth it. I highly recommend booking at Casa Pohon, if one stays in Ubud.

A bit tough for Grab/Gojek cars to access.

Villa is absolutely beautiful, so well furnished and accessorised. Very clean and the breakfast is also very good - could have a few more options though.

Location may be a little difficult for some as can only be accessed via a small car/scooter/walk - if walking a steep hill down and steep hill up. The one thing that let it down for us is that the outdoor pool is not heated so could not be used, the back is shaded with trees so pool does not heat up - if it wasn’t for this then it would have been a 10/10

The staff were very helpful and made our stay very comfortable by all means. They never said 'no' to any of our requests and were very accomodating specially Chris at the reception. The villa looks very private facing the jungle and the whole place was kept very clean and tidy day-in and out by the staff. The rooms were huge, the open kitchen and the living room were well thought of- specially the see-through glass by the pool. Even the outdoor shower was great to have.

An incredible place that was so peaceful, I wish we were able to stay longer but the single night we got to stay there was amazing. It felt like we were in a treehouse jungle paradise, so amazing.

The road to get there is not ideal for taxis that are not used to the width of it, but if you use a taxi provided by the hotel then it is totally fine - just something to keep in mind!
