Beautiful quiet spot. We slept great. Facilities were lovely. The room was a bit different than we expected, as lots of bugs were able to get into the room due to gaps around doors and windows. When we placed our towels on the floor as requested when asking for new towels, we were given beach towels that didn’t dry well and the bath mat was never changed so this was very dirty by the end of our stay. Old slippers were found under the bed and the roof and walls above curtains had dead bugs and dust and cobwebs so cleanliness could be better but overall was a lovely stay and beautiful incredibly well maintained gardens. The staff were so kind and responsive and remembered us by name.

My room balcony has a very nice view of the valley. Room very sizeable and with good taste of bed linen. The owner shared a lot of good information about local culture, insects, pattern of Bali design, through little letters in the room. Which I really like. I like the online check in which make the process easier and efficient The location is a bit outside of town, around 10mins bike or car drive from city center. But the trade off is hotel is really quite. Located in a very beautifully decorahted village, and there some nice restaurant around.

I don’t like being asked to move from the lobby to restaurant to have the welcome drink. Feel strange and don’t really want to move after a long day of travel. The shower towel looks not so clean.

Super friendly personnel. Always ready to help and truly a great example of Balinese hospitality. We greatly appreciated the flexibility to get our breakfasts (or other meals) served on our own patio (without additional costs). The complimentary yoga sessions were great and well guided. Both pools were in good nick and clean. The larger pool offers quite a few loungers and a pool bar. The smaller pool is cooler and doesn't catch as much direct sun. My girlfriend suffered an unfortunate accident on the rice-terraces on our second to last day. The staff was incredibly supportive in helping us get down to our room, providing cooling packs, arranging healthcare services, and consistently lending a hand to help stabilize my girlfriend on crutches (once back from hospital) going up-and down the (various) stairs to get around the compound. The compound layout is done beautifully, allowing all guests to have good privacy and blocking out most sound from the relatively busy street the facility is located on. The rooms are really spacious, most offering both indoor and outdoor shower/bath facilities, and private outdoor patio space. Both ac and fan's are present in the rooms. They offer regular free transfers to/from Ubud. If you hire a scooter, it is only a 10minute ride to/from Ubud, by car it's a bit longer. The Tegallalang rice terraces are about 15 minutes away by scooter. Several warungs (local eateries) are within easy walking distance.

We are used to getting out and about on our own, and possibly biased by that perspective we perceived their questions on plans and activities, as well as their repeated offers for paid excursions and activities a bit pushy. I don't believe the former was primarily sales driven but more borne out of their service oriented mindset to help us enjoy all that Bali has to offer. The latter, however, could be toned down a bit. Costs of the onsite additional services are on the higher end of the spectrum.

The staff is definitely the most friendly and helpful I have ever met in a hotel. We have some issue regarding the room, the manager and staff helped resolve it quickly and effectively. The property is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast is good. We leave early in the morning, they prepared a full package of food for us. My family members had the massage, highly recommended.

Everything is exceeding 5-star standard, however, the cleaning standard is like 3-star. In general it is acceptable clean, but can be improved, as well as can update things spray hand-shower, or curtains.

We had an amazing time at Korurua Dijiwa. The wonderful staff really made our stay special - especially Agung and Tari at reception, and the wonderful staff in the restaurant and at the spa. The food at the restaurant was always delicious and they have multiple dinner events each week, like Balinese dance, Balinese flute and live acoustic music. We had 4 treatments at the spa and they were each great (we especially enjoyed the royal Koru package). A highlight of our stay were the various free classes the hotel offers - we had yoga in the mornings, and also a class with Metha on how to make Boreh and a lovely class with Tari, teaching us how to make the "Canang Sari" offerings. We look forward to staying at Korurua Dijiwa during our next visit to Bali!

Amazing staff and the view from the room but poor services. The staff is amazing, the yoga sessions are also great. The included shuttle to ubud center area is also welcomed. Other than that there is not much to do if you decide to spend a day at the hotel.

Dirty room, towels and bedsheets. They replaced them upon request with others also dirty, the room was not cleaned at all, they just made the bed everyday. The windows are not closing properly and some are not made to get closed at all so insects or other thigs can easily enter your room. We didn’t have the courage to enter the pool as it was looking very greenish and cloudy. Altough the breaksfast is limited, 3 days in the row we ordered acocado from their breakfast menu and all 3 days they said they don’t have it. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again for that money if I have to go to Ubud again.

Excellent property with a very hardworking staff. The staff do their best to provide excellent service. Breakfast at the Uma Tikki Restaurant has adequate options, including healthy options. The staff at the restaurant do their best to meet every expectation. The property has a rural charm mixed with modern amenitities. The management has been able to maintain a best of both worlds. The SPA is adequate and the staff is quite skilled. The location was perfect for us. It is away from Ubud's traffic and buzz, but close enough to the city and other area attractions.

Some amenities in the property are dated, but that is to be expected in such a property. However, one of our rooms had a toilet seat which was peeled and management should take care of such things. Also how about having salt and pepper shakers in the restaurant instead of sachets?

The staff are exceptional very accommodating from front of house to restaurant to spa staff. Nothing was too difficult for them to make your stay happy. Traditional style rooms beautifully kept very spacious, lush gardens. Complimentary breakfast, yoga and photo session. (Must book yoga & photo session). Spa treatments are amazing. Restaurant food was tasty and resonantly priced. Only drawback is the distance from the town Center to walk but the resort offers multiple drop off and pick up via their free shuttle service. We look forward to coming again. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing escape

Personnel was well trained and professional. The breakfast was outstanding. One could pick from variety of food and drinks. The hotel restaurant was also at high level. The apartment was very spacious and with all we needed for a comfortable stay.

Considering the services of the hotel were on a high level, we were surprised that there was a constant issue with laundry. The towels were provided irregularly or just one towel per person which was insufficient. The hotel might seem to be a bit cold as it is located up the hill towards rice terraces and maybe on mostly cloudy place.

The staff was extremely nice and supportive, the area of the hotel is exceptionally beautiful, the food was nice, beds comfortable. They offer extra services (shuttle to town, yoga, nice live music in the restaurant). The distance to Ubud center is good.

Unfortunately there was daily noise from construction work in the neighborhood and the hotel next to Korurua had some load music partys. But the staff was very nice and even offered earplugs. The noise (including music) stopped at an accurate time in the evening. This was in October 2023, so the construction work won't last forever ;)
