The room was really nice and spacious, the staff were all so so friendly! Very useful having a shuttle bus into Ubud as was too far out to walk- would have been nice if it was more regular and ran later (once an hour up to 9pm) but taxis were cheap enough if we missed one!

The door to our balcony didn’t close properly meaning that our room was very loud and we had a lot of bugs coming in. We were close to the restaurant and got woken up early every day. On the first evening there was some sort of loud music playing which went on until 12am. We only found out on the last day that as guests we could use the jacuzzi in the spa- would have been useful to be told when we arrived so we could actually use it. The first two mornings we had a buffet breakfast which wasn’t very nice compared to an a la carte menu on the third morning which was so much nicer. We understand that a buffet breakfast was used on the first couple of days because there was a large group also staying but would have been great if this didn’t negatively impact our stay.

My boyfriend and I booked The Udaya for our birthday trip—every interaction from booking to check out was lovely. Upon booking, I was contacted via booking.com and whatsapp to confirm arrival times. The resort is 10 minutes drive from Ubud Palace/Ubud Centre, which is easily reached by their free shuttle that departs at the top of the hour. The shuttle arrives promptly at Ubud Centre at 10 minutes after the hour, and guests can catch the shuttle back to the resort on its way back up the hill. The Udaya is stunning, beautifully landscaped and cared for by its kind staff. The main pool area is beautiful and quiet—there are plenty of loungers, as well as round cabana lounges and a fire pit on the way up to the restaurant. The grounds are covered in greenery and exotic flowers, as well as having a beautiful koi pond. There are wild animals all around Bali, so naturally there are noises throughout the day :) We booked the One Bedroom Pool Villa for 10 nights. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with tons of space for unpacking, lounging, and relaxing. The bathroom features both a shower and a large stone tub, along with his and her sinks. The resort crew took care of any amenity or question we had with kindness and thoughtfulness. We appreciated the small touches, such as nightly turndown service and complimentary mineral water. The beds are comfortable—firm but plush, and the mosquito net is a welcome addition. We ordered room service and ate at the restaurant quite often during the trip (especially late night), and especially loved the hotel's breakfast. Udaya served as a home base for us to take day trips and also explore Ubud. Udaya's location is the perfect escape from the busy city centre. We took advantage of everything The Udaya had to offer, including the Kaveri Spa, the in-room Citrus bath (a must! the pandan was so fragrant), the New Moon Dinner, and even our engagement :) We can't wait to come back and visit.

We have a wonderful stay at The Udaya Resorts and Spa, for our honeymoon in Bali Ubud. All the team was so nice, welcoming, helpful, responsiveness (especially by Whatsapp) to our requests, from the beginning to the end. Plus, the hotel is a in a quiet place, which is perfect for a restful stay, with a lot of vegetation like in the middle of paradisiac land, with high quality equipments and services (spa, massage, gym, yoga, swimming pool, restaurant with services at table), and only at 8 min in free shuttle from the crowdy city center. We have enjoyed special couple treatment in the hotel, such as the Couple Massage Rejuvenating and Flower Celebration, Candlerlight Dinner in the Sky Yoga Hut, and private driver service, with interesting discount. It was very appreciated and made our honeymoon memorable. We really recommand the hotel, and are really grateful to all the team for the dream journey we had there.

I had booked Udaya for a weeks relaxation before heading home. It didn’t disappoint. The room was spacious we had a pool view and garden suite. They have rooms with private pools but the main pool is beautiful and not too busy. Also did yoga most days the I am a beginner and the instructors were great. The hotel is outside of the main town but they have a shuttle bus and also picked us up and dropped us off to a nearby restaurant when it was raining. There are a few good places to eat within easy walking distance. The staff were great making sure we had a good time and the Spa was lovely . Breakfast is amazing it’s basically a menu with everything you can think of and you order what you want. Highly recommend this resort.

We love our villa with private pool! Everything was awesome, especially the very courteous and hospitable staff. The floating breakfast was extraordinary. We would like to specifically thank the restaurant staff who made us abundant breakfast boxes at 06:45 for our early departure the other day. We would also like to express our gratitude to the housekeeping staff who set the flower bath up. CS on WhatsApp has always been helpful with timely reply as well. Definitely would recommend Udaya to our friends.

Just a friendly reminder for those who are considering taking the flower bath. Since the flower petals are fresh, caterpillars are inevitable. It would be better if the hotel has stated this clearly beforehand so that the users can be mentally prepared if they have Scoleciphobia. Special thanks to manager Gavin who had handled this issue well.

The luscious natural beauty of the Udaya Resort and Spa is unmatched. Every corner of the property is an artistic tropical vignette. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of our private jungle pool and outdoor tub. The bedding and pillows were plush. The delicious breakfast offered diverse protein, pastry, fruit and juice options. The fine accommodations were complimented by the thorough attention of every single staff member. From the moment of our arrival, every request was addressed with efficiency and warmth. Our outstanding tour guide and driver, Degus, was knowledgeable, humble, and fun. His concern for our wishes and safety was obvious. Degus facilitated our maximum enjoyment of the Ubud sites and culture. Thank you, Mr. Budi, for your excellent management of the property. The Udaya is a true Balinese jewel, and we cannot wait to return.

We loved the hotel, it's beautiful and the room was huge. They come to your room twice a day, one to clean it and the second one in the afternoon to prepare it for the night and install the mosquito nets. Very clean and we were really happy that they had a shuttle buggy to the town that drops and collects you at the same spot, so we didn't need taxis since it's a bit far to walk. The breakfast was good and we had an unforgettable private candle light dinner, which is an amazing option they offer. We also did an 8 hour tour with their driver Degus, he was driving to the places we told him and he toured us through the temples. We will certainly come back next year for a stop through Ubud while travelling to to north. There was an issue with the transfer that we booked with them to our next hotel but they fixed it immediately after telling them, so in general we are super happy with our stay here!

My partner and I recently spent two blissful nights at The Udaya in Ubud and it was amazing experience. From the moment we arrived to this beautiful resort we felt welcomed and truly enjoyed every minute of it. We stayed in a room with a pool view which turned out to be perfect as the pool is situated in a gorgeous lush garden. Our room was spacious, it had comfortable bed, large bathroom and it was nicely decorated in a Balinese style. My favorite part of staying at this resort was visiting Kaveri Spa that was rated as the best spa in Bali and I can’t argue that. I got a chance to pamper myself by a relaxing massage followed by absolutely incredible flower bath. We also enjoyed a few meals in their restaurant and it was all very delicious. They also offer private dinner by candlelight which is perfect for some special occasions or a romantic date. Also the resort is less than 10 minutes drive to the Ubud centre and they run complimentary shuttle leaving every hour which is super convenient. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this resort. Thank you Udaya for having us!

- We arrived very late in the evening as our flight was delayed but staff were very welcoming and courteous. Loved the refreshment drink on welcome. - We stayed in the pool villa which was large and spacious. Comfortable bed with mosquito net. - Excellent spa on the premises, with 30% seasonal discount applied to price which was nice. - Free yoga class each day at 7:30am which was an added bonus. - Gym on-site was a nice extra. - Overall resort is very well maintained and staff are continuously maintaining the property throughout the day. - Very friendly staff and interested to get to know their guests. - Food in the restaurant is good quality. We had dinner there one night which was excellent. Its a pity more guests dont use the restaurant but appreciate there is so many options in Ubud.
