Excellent family run hotel, nice staff, always ready to help. Easy to reach to UBUD center, arround 4 USD by taxi GRAB. Rooms are basic, a little old and may need some upgrade but cozy and all with very nice view to beautiful garden. Breakfast are very delicious with pancakes, fresh juice, fruits and coffee / tea and price also is very reasonable around 4$. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops in neighborhood. I would recommend all to take a walk to neighboring villages to see the local culture and beautiful nature, rise fields and jungles.

Stairs - most part of the rooms are reachable by passing many stairs, with very high steps, so old or handicapped people will get big trouble accessing their rooms. There are 3 swimming pools, but all are very small. Water is clear.

The staff are friendly and accommodating. Good location close to to Ubud downtown. Easy access and with some restaurants within walking distance. You can rent a bike directly in the hotel. Breakfast was tasty. It's a nice property with lush green rice fields and swimming pools. They responded promptly to my questions through booking.com. Would stay there again.

Just specifically in my room 2 lights were not working, and I had to disconnect one lamp to be able to plug my phone. The many other sockets in the room were unserviceable. Still not a big deal.

At time of booking I was unaware that the "family room" was a huge suite with its own kitchen, outdoor pool, view of rice paddies, etc. Shocked on arrival, but pleasantly so. Couple of nice restaurants within meters of the Suites.

Junjungan Suites advertises airport transfers on the Web site, but that turned out to be fictitious. It is a one-hour walk to the nearest "town center", which is OK if you're keeping fit. 2-way traffic on 1-lane Balinese roads is sometimes a bit nerve-wracking if you're a pedestrian, or on a motorbike, or in a car.

Junjungan suite was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were all so friendly and the best part was the beautiful outdoor area with 2 pools overlooking rice fields. Really beautiful and relaxing. Also they offered a very cheap VERY good breakfast in the morning and good value excursions/ driver.

The only downside is that it is a 45 min walk into ubud central which is nice as it’s a little more quiet. They do offer a taxi service though for only 40K rupi and there is also Grab you can take, so it wasn’t a problem.

The set up was very nice. A Balinese swing could add huge plus to the setup. And some more relaxing activity like carrom or music

A common bathroom for 2 rooms, and not enough food preparation options. Alternatively connect with local restaurant to arrange delivery could have been far more relaxing . We spent good amount of our time in arranging food. While later we realise there are already many local restaurant near by who are willing to deliver. It was just the matter of organising the same

I loved the local climate, the serenity that can still be felt despite of the constructions. I loved my little geko friend in the shower. I loved the garden with many beautiful steps that make you think about every stone that was put up by one's working hands. To all those complaining that there are constructions: Bali is all under construction. This is because we are coming here. This is the bread for the people who live here. But this place is still a small beauty worth visiting. There was everything I needed, after busy Canggu finally I could sleep without my earplugs. I had a simple yet good breakfast (there is option of having it float in one of the beautiful swimming pools). You can feel the fresh breeze caress your face and the palm trees at the same time. It's beautiful, real Bali. Really close by bike to the Pyramids of Chi, worth visiting too!

Nothing. Everything was perfect. And again: constructions are normal in Bali now. It's still a gem though.

We stayed in the Family suite and were blown away by how much space we had. The rooms are very comfortable and the pool is lovely. A quiet oasis. It is located about a 10 min drive out of Ubud and for a small fee, the staff will drive you in and out of town.

FYI there are no restaurants attached to the property so eating requires short but slightly hairy walks along the road to one of several excellent warungs. Security is rudimentary - no safe, the staff come and go and there is probably little point in locking doors - but at no point did we feel unsafe and I believe everyone is very trustworthy.

1. Staff - very helpful 2. Location - Around 20mins away from Central Ubud and tourist places 3. View - We were in Suite #2 and infront is the rice terraces and the pool 4. The “open” roof style of bathroom - brings nostalgia of 40+ years ago 5. The breakfast - reasonable price, filling, aesthetically pleasing, can be served infront of the room or inslde, depending how busy they were 6. Size of the room - spacious!!! 7. Cleanliness - overall, good enough for tne price

1. The hot water in the shower couldn’t keep up with the demand. There is no hot water when you take a bath from 9ish-10ish AM. However, there is hot water in the shower if you take a bath during nighttime or early morning 6AM. 2. The lights in the room are too dim/warm. Difficult to find things especially at nighttime. 3. The brown-coloured towels. I just dont feel re-assured of the cleanliness of towels when it’s not in white colour.

Beautiful accommodation suite that actually felt like being on a retreat in many ways. It has its own spa and beautiful grounds and views of the area! Room was nice and clean and spacious, staff were friendly although not always present in the reception so you sometimes have to message them via the booking app. It’s about a 30 minute walk into the main town but it’s nice if you like the peace and quiet.

The room is very spacious but the showeraccomadation is difficult to get into for people who have walking disabilities. The views are to die for!! Breakfast is excellent. The swimming pool is also marvelous but for me not possible to attent because of the steep stairs. But if you have no problem walking it is doable. Overall this is a great place to stay and I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a romantic beautiful place to stay. The staff are sooo nice and helpful. We would definitely come here again 😀
