The villa was extremely clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Reasonably sized pool and flat screen tv with Netflix etc. What you see advertised is literally what you get. Umbrella’s provided. The breakfast was hit and miss, some days it was amazing, on others I settled with a (nice) omelette. A free taxi into Ubud centre was provided. We felt very safe. A good location in terms of not far from attractions/restaurants etc. Good scenery, a river/lake which you can explore within the property. I would recommend staying here.

The choice of drink at breakfast was poor, only 3 options all of which I didn’t like. No step free access, lots and lots of stairs, esp if you are at the bottom villa. Zenubud is quite isolated once you turn off the main road. We wanted to explore by foot but there were no lights and is a rocky downward hill so grab was a must.

We absolutely loved our stay at the ZenUbud. The villas are astoundingly beautiful (The private pool! The jungle view! The floating breakfast!) But even more incredible than that is the team; they were truly involved during our stay and helped us with every little issue with amazing kindness. Our stay could not have been more comfortable as a result. In particular, Eka absolutely runs the show and it is amazing to me that she is not the manager, because she absolutely should be. Kadek also deserves a mention for always dropping us off or picking us up in Ubud, always with a smile and always on time. And the entire staff was so wonderfully sweet towards our little boy, who loved all the attention they gave him and still listens to the songs they sang to him now at home. Thank you so much for the wonderful time we had with you! If we ever come back to Bali it will be with you.

The staff went above and beyond for us, we were so impressed with them. The shuttle was an excellent service and made it so easy to pop into the main areas. We loved everything! 😍

If you're staying in Ubud, look no further than Zen Ubud! Tenny and her staff were AMAZING. Beautiful location, super clean room and facilities, and the staff went above and beyond for my honeymoon. The food is delicious, they offer to clean your room everyday (and they REALLY clean it), and the shuttle to the Ubud Centre is an added (free) bonus. Our driver, Ariex, was also great and picked us up as soon as we messaged him. Whenever my wife and I come back, we will absolutely be staying here again. It is a bit far from the Ubud Centre and nothing is really walking distance, but if you're looking for a peaceful getaway, then this is the place. Plus, they offer to drive you anywhere anyways (for an added cost), which in my opinion, is better than ordering a Grab/GoJek anyways. Thank you Tenny and staff!

It was honestly one of the best views Ive ever seen in my life. Waking up to the forest infront of you and hearing waterfalls running under you was soothing and felt unreal

The rooms were nice but a couple of minor things I didnt like were the fact the sliding doors to enter the room didnt close properly and left a decent 50 cm gap at the edge. So anyone could easily walk through it sideways and animals too but I think that was only in my room as my friends rooms were perfect.

I loved the location, the view was spectacular!! We were looking out at what felt like our very own jungle valley and waterfall. It was so incredibly peaceful to be close to but out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud Centre. The free shuttle makes heading out so easy. The villa is brand new and stunning! The restaurant is a wonderful oasis, highly recommend!

The river villa is located in a lush and green valley with a small river, with hardly any other sounds but the river and nature itself. Good place for quiet relaxation, while still in very short driving distance from the center of Ubud (we made daily use of the free shuttle). Staff is very kind and helpful.

The villa is stunning and loved it and the private pool. The location is great as it is quiet and serene.

The food at the restaurant is average, this includes breakfast and dinners. It lacks finesse and if you take the rooms then there is a mismatch. I would suggest they invest in a proper chef to uplift the level of meals. The villa and rooms were stunning but it is short on necessities like adequate cutlery, plates, crockery, pots, etc. Toaster, kettle = dated. It needs some investment here by the owners as this falls short of expected standards. The other downside is that it sits a bit outside Ubud village, just a couple of Kms. However, with the insane traffic there it can take a few hours to do dinner and return transfer to the hotel. So this a problem. We then resorted to ordering-in, as the restaurant food at the hotel was not up to scratch.

The location amongst rice paddy fields was serene, quiet, with beautiful views. Far enough out of town without being too far. Lovely Gardens, attentive friendly staff. Great breakfasts, option for takeaway boxes when we had a tour booked and had to leave early. Free shuttle bus service to and from Ubud centre was great.

Lack of cocktail / alcoholic drink options. One room, the shower did not heat up (infinity Villa) it didn’t affect our stay as we showered in the kids bathroom. Even after staff fixed it, it didn’t work again.
