Love this area of Ubud, away from the city center but 15 min by motorbike to the main attractions. Less dining options within walking distance etc but perfect if you want a quieter stay. Room itself is big, love the wooden floors and details throughout. Interior design is minimalist (no clutter or loud artwork etc). Hot water and wifi always working. Balconies on upper levels have view of a tranquil rice paddy. Would definitely stay again, good value for money.

Paon desa ubud is a wonderful stay if you like to have calmness and place away from city noise. You need your vehicle. Rooms are neat and clean and very spacious. Room service is excellent and staff is also co operative. You'll find it a perfect vacation stay. Rice fields view rooms are cool. For food Mango restaurant is adjacent to hotel and local restaurants are also available if you want to try Balinese food

Overall, my wife and I loved this place as a small honeymoon location to stay. The view from our room was amazing and the rice field is really something in the mornings and evenings. The staff there was always so helpful and made sure to accomodate our every need. They would go above and beyond for us and made sure we were always happy. A big shoutout to Edi who works there for always taking extra special care of us and cooking us an amazing and tasty breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Ubud.

There honestly isn't anything that we didn't like. The location is decent, but it's not SUPER close to the center of Ubud, but it was still in the vicinity. Apart from that, we have zero complaints about this hotel.

The views from the resort are breathtaking, with lush green rice paddies stretching as far as the eye can see. We spent countless hours just soaking in the serene landscape from our balcony, sipping tea. The location is perfect—just a short distance from the bustling heart of Ubud, yet secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet. I loved the convenience of being close to local markets, restaurants, and cultural sites while having a relaxing retreat to return to. Breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring a wide variety of delicious options, including traditional Balinese dishes and fresh fruits. Every morning felt like a feast, and the outdoor dining area with stunning views made it even more special. The rooms are beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese elements. They were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They took breakfast orders the day before and had it ready for us at whatever time we chose to be down from our room. We also climbed Mt Batur where we had to be collected at 2:30am by our driver - when we told the staff this during general conversation, they offered to make us a takeaway breakfast option. The deluxe room was extremely spacious with great facilities. The balcony view of the rice terraces was great also, it was exactly what we were looking for. 100% woukd return.

We absolutely loved the staff!! Eddie and the other staff at reception really took care of us and our needs. They were friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful when trying to organize tours and places to eat. Our room had a beautiful view and was extremely clean and comfortable. The location was a little out of Ubud but the daily shuttle from the hotel to the Ubud market was helpful. Excellent.

The safe wasn't working at the time so we had to use a key. Small issue but important to note for other travellers. It could have only been the one in our room.

I really enjoyed the hotel view particularly as it was situated right in front of a beautiful rice field. The staff were friendly which added to the overall positive experience. Breakfast was good, but there were limited options to choose from the menu.

I had issues with the Wifi; it kept disconnecting making it nearly impossible to watch videos or load images...the housekeeping was subpar; they didn't clean the room thoroughly particularly the bathroom :(

Lovely big room with a huge comfortable bed. Extremely friendly staff who aim to please. Arissa (sorry if incorrect spelling) was extremely friendly and welcoming on check in and Eddy never fails to smile and brighten your day - his sheer joy is infectious. Pool towels provided and a lovely cafe Mango next door plus a Warung down the road a couple of minutes walk so all budgets are covered. The hotel offers a free shuttle of a taxi into Ubud, you get your own return but as it drops you off where you wish it’s a fantastic perk given the really low cost of the accommodation. No in room safe.

A bit far out of Ubud when the traffic is horrendous but then peaceful at night so it’s a personal choice. Could do with updating the bedding and towels .

Very friendly hotel, with a lovely, very welcoming and helpful staff. The room and bathroom was very spacious, simple, modern and very clean, with comfortable large bed. We stayed on the third floor and the view from the balcony was great, overlooking the rice fields. Swimming pool was clean and nice. There is a high end restaurant just next door as well as other eating options just within walking distance.

The serenity of the view is unfortunately spoiled by the constant car and motorcycle noise from the street.

Something to be aware of… The room was on level 1, no lifts, the stairs are steep and my fitness is not what it should be. Also drive into town can be 10m to half hour depending on traffic, so trips into town need to be planned
