I was hesitant to book this property as the reviews weren’t brilliant only coming in at a 6.5 there was mentioned about the lifts been slow and the air conditioning also not been very good. However I can honestly say this is a little gem of a hotel. The air-conditioning in our room was fantastic and the lift were working perfectly fine not slow at all. The room was incredibly spacious and and very nice. As a matter of fact, it was probably the biggest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in Jakarta. I thoroughly enjoyed I stay at this hotel. Also, I have to mention the breakfast was very nice. I always like sausages and eggs and baked beans in the morning surprisingly lot of hotels don’t do baked beans but not this one. Also 24 hour room service was great If there’s only one thing negative I will say is the location is a little bit away from Shopping Malls and restaurants. But you can always get a Grab and you’ll only be 20 minutes away from everything overall a wonderful hotel and will definitely stay again. Ignore the previous reviews as I can tell you this hotel is definitely a 7.5 - 8 rating

I stayed at Best Western Mangga Dua during my visit to Jakarta. The hotel is conveniently located in Central Jakarta, with easy access to the highway leading to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport — ideal for travelers with early or late flights. The location also makes it easy to explore nearby shopping areas and local attractions. Overall, a practical choice for both business and leisure stays.

The breakfast selection was quite limited and could use more variety. The immediate surroundings of the hotel were not as expected — there are no nearby convenience stores, and the entrance faces a narrow, busy road that can be noisy at times.

I spent 5 wonderful days at this hotel and was very pleased with my stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help and answer any questions. The rooms were clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and a beautiful view from the window. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with something new every day. The hotel's location was also great, with many attractions and restaurants nearby. I definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to return here again!

The reception staff was very friendly:the receptionist Dede was always helpful.The breakfast was good and there the staff give allways a very good service and fresh cooked eegs on 6 differents way and soupes.Hotel is good and have great staff,for me the best Hotel in Jakarta.Big rooms with a great view over the city.In the building is a supermarket with a big choice and very seriously prices.The swimming pool is new renovated and is very nice. Next time i come back to this great Hotel.

The helpfulness of the staff, who is also very smiling, friendly and professional. Everyone is very knowledgeable and will gladly help you! The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is generous, the Indonesian food is delicious and the hotel being a very high tower, it offers you a beautiful view of Jakarta. We had a really great stay and we warmly recommend this hotel 😊👍

Despite the food being really good, the restaurant suffered from a few stockouts during our trip (some juices or desserts) the toilet didn't work well

Breakfast was good. Room was very spacious. View was fantastic as we were on the 29th floor. Really appreciate the balcony as my husband smokes. Plus, we have never had a room with long large pillows the size of bolsters. Was so happy as I usually hug the extra pillow when sleeping. Good job. Called up reception as the water kettle was leaking and the phone by the bedside wasn't working and they came up very fast to replace and fix the line. Very fast response and action. Good staff. Also want to give appreciation to the front line especially Fadil and Nina? (lady on duty when we checked out). Both very efficient, knowledgable, friendly and very helpful.

I didn't like that the room was dark, I mean the lights were not bright enough and didn't light up the seating area. We ordered room service and had to eat in a dark gloomy area. Bathroom tiles, though sleek and classy, was actually very very slippery when wet. Slipped a few times coming out of the shower. Luckily the area was quite tight so managed to grab onto the sink. Also there was a stain on the floor next to the bed that wasn't cleaned until we left

We had fantastic experience here. They really care about every client, rooms were very clean with breath taking View. 🪟🙂 Breakfast and dinner was in very high level, you can taste Indonesian kitchen. Administration and hotel manager was very helpful, they helped with car rental services and with all other our question/problems. This is the place where definitely you want to come back, because you will feel like you are at home. ☺️🏡 FYI in hotel lobby it's possible to sing karaoke 🎤🎤 so go and enjoy it! The location is good and staff were very friendly

Charging 8 USD per person and per night was a surprise to all. If we knew before we could have looked for alternatives. The charges are unreasonable.

During our wonderful stay at the Best Western Mangga Dua hotel, we were always helped by the lobby staff, especially Ben & Danny. We even received a free upgrade to a more luxurious room with a beautiful view over Jakarta. The breakfast is very good and there is a lot of choice. I look forward to my next stay.
