No electricity in our room, during our stay, no shower ( not even cold). Just a barrel with water and a ladle

The staff did try and help us locate a place to buy a sim card using their phone, sadly they did not speak English so we had to purchase roaming data to find it ourselves. Toilet flushed. Location near train station

We have travelled South-east Asia on a budget for 5 months, this is our worst accomodation yet. I guess you get what you pay for, I know I wont hear the last of this booking. If you do want to brave it for £10 (not worth it) here is an honest summary. Cigarette burns in bedding and on side tables, (bowl to put your ash and butts). Door to bathroom doesnt shut, handle doesnt function, its hanging by a thread. Bathroom has no sink...shower has 0 water pressure and is freezing cold. We were initially provided 1 towel for 2 of us, not that it mattered they were terrible, more like blankets. No tp provided. No bins inside the room, only communal bins for each floor. You have to physically lock yourself into the rooms with a key (terrible in a fire). There is also no wifi here and phone signal is poor. TV provided doesnt work either...you are also fenced in with prison bars on the window. If you dont mind crime documentaries this is the place for you. There is honestly nothing good about this hotel. If we could have booked another room and left we would have! But didnt have signal to do so...
