Room was nice and clean. Desk staff were nice, but had orders from someone higher up to overcharge for rooms.

Shower was partially broken. Air con no remote and very loud/barely working. Mostly, absolutely did not like the service we received there. WARNING they will try to charge you more than 3x the price you book on booking.com, will not honour the confirmed amount and will not let you have access to the room unless you pay the random higher number they pluck from their heads. Despite the room being pretty okay, would absolutely not stay here again because of this appalling service and lack of continuity with what they advertise online. Don't make your business model scamming tourists.

Check in horrible told me online booking not accepted had to argue arround to get a room for online price then got a smelly outdated room without aircon Hotel was never maintauned or renovated since 40 years reminds me to my trips to Indonesia in the 1980s bathroom in traditional style No Restaurant drinks expensive only for Hardcore travellers

This is where they say they no longer do business with booking.com I hope booking.com can resolve this soon. I took a taxi from Kupang airport... I was kicked out of the hotel, so I took another taxi to Kupang city to get another hotel. Please don't let there be any more victims like me.

Staff tried to overcharge me. my booking had already been prepaid in full at the rate specified on booking.com however the staff tried to insist that this rate “did not match [that of] the hotel”, trying to triple the overall price of my stay. I view this as truly unacceptable, they were trying not to honour the rate I was promised. Note these were not additional City/Tourism Taxes (as you find in many European cities and UAE properties - this is specified as “tourism tax paid on arrival” for example. This was simply a blatant attempt to overcharge me. However I vehemently insisted that the price I paid was all I was going to. Not one Rupiah more. This very much soured my experience here.

This was a scam. I paid online through booking.com and when I arrived the manager gave a long story about their problems with booking.com and then asked me to pay double what I paid online in cash to her for a room. We went to a different hotel and now I'm having a big problem getting my money back from booking.com.
