The location is walking distance to the beach. The views from the pool and the breakfast balconies were amazing. There are plenty of restaurants and warungs within walking distance to get cheap and amazing food. The bed was huge, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The pool was lovely. Buffet breakfast was a mix of western and Indonesian.
I am a return visitor to hotel on the rock. I think it is a great hotel

Breakfast included. Maximum 20 minutes from airport. Friendly helpful staff.
Pool could do with better cleaning, water a bit cloudy, it would also benefit from having shade sails installed as always in a hot climate the water is always warm. Toilet didn't flush strong enough had to use bidet sprayer to help it flush.

We arrived here late at night, and we smoothly check in. As our room was right facing the streets which gets very noisy early in the morning we asked if we could swap rooms. Staff promptly swaps us without any issues. The pool is good and you face the beach, good to relax after exploring. You have a restaurant right next door and an atm.

The location of the hotel is brilliant. The staff is amazing. Where else can you join a dance performance during breakfast? Overall, a bit of rehabilitation seems necessary, but after Covid everyone has to look for funds first. Thus, all fine. I highly recommend Hotel On the Rocks!

Directly on the waterfront, with nice pool and garden. One of the older business hotels in Kupang, but relatively well maintained. Great location (outdoor area a great plus) and friendly stuff.
