We recently stayed at this amazing hotel as a family, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff – every single person we encountered was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely attentive to our needs. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to any family looking for not just a place to sleep, but a place where you’re truly cared for.

The staff were so lovely. They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and relaxing. We were given a complimentary welcome drink on arrival as well as complimentary dessert when having dinner in the restaurant. We were also offered room service when we were too tired to come out of our room. The place was beautiful and had a calm atmosphere. There was also a shop in the main reception selling locally made goods.

We had wonderfull experience during our stay here. The staff were exremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast included were great as was the service. We couldn’t have asked for a better place! Literally 10/10- all facilities were great- it was spotless and so clean, really good sized pool to enjoy. the best hotel near Borobudur Temple we’ve stayed in! Really recommend such good value!

My third time here. The service is excellent. Foods are great, with lots of options to choose from, and the portion is super generous. FANTASTIC breakfast! Feels like a queen on a mini banquet. The villa looks very lovely, got a feel of staying in Central Java's traditional house. It is also very comfortable inside, with modern amenities. The AC is cold, helps to cool down if there is any heatwave. Love the shower with the plants and stone wall too. Swimming pool is clean and has a nice size. There are activities to choose from, arranged by the resort. They can also arrange transport to the city center or airport. Staffs are super helpful and knowledgeable. All and all good value for money. Great place to unwind. Resort is beautifully designed.

Lovely boutique type resort with all modern amenities. Loved the cottage I was in. Big and spacious. This was the at the end of the property. Away from the pool. Lovely to sit on the veranda and read. There is an homely atmosphere everywhere. Staff are very helpful. Food was excellent for me. I like Indonesian / Javanese food so was quite happy to have what was on the menu. They even went out of the way to prepare a local dish specially for me called "nasi liwet".

The lights are dim in the rooms. Can add one or two bright lights that can be switched off when not needed.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Upon arrival and check in we got comprehensive information about the breakfast, swimming pool and motor rentals (exactly what we wanted), a wet towel to cool off and a welcome drink. It's called ice secang and the receptionist explained the ingredients and color behaviour of it when adding lemon for example. Very interesting to us. In the bungalow there was a beautiful bathrobe, sugar ginger (for a hot drink) and some local and internationally known fruits waiting for us. Our wooden cabin was a lovely and roomy place with a beautiful shower space (2 big real plants inside). Food and drinks on premises are great and very reasonably priced. Towels and showers for the pool are present and the pool is shadowed too. Great for cooling down and staying out of the sun. The day we arrived we went to the Mendut temple which is at walking distance (7 minutes). With the scooter it's also 9 minutes to the Borobudur Temple.

The food is good - we had our breakfast and dinner there and value for money. Regarding the room, I booked two bungalows, and they upgraded us to a luxury bungalow. We all liked the welcome drinks that changed colours when we stirred.

The coffee house should have an espresso coffee machine so that the guests can enjoy the calm and the resort vibe.

Amata Borobudur is a quaint and cozy small resort located close to the Borobudur temple, the Elo River and Borobudur town. We stayed in a Javanese style bungalow that was quite spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom. The included breakfast was very nice with several menu selections. The kitchen also served up nice meals.

Beautiful resort, the villa’s are very good, lot of space, very nice bathroom, bed is very comfortable. Staff is so friendly, they help you with everything. We drove with Toni, our driver to anywhere we wanted. There were not much guests, it was a little bit too quiet but it was the season they told us. You have to fill in your breakfast for the following day. Enough choice and you can order as much as you want. Some days we got an complimentary dish for breakfast to try or cake in the afternoon.

The sound of all the mosques in the neighbourhood, many times a day. Street just outside the resort is very busy, you cannot make a walk outside the resort but that is almost everywhere on Java. Can’t recommend renting a bike, too busy on the roads.

Absolutely amazing!! Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast. They all were super nice and friendly. Our room was gorgeous. Just ten minutes drive from Borobudur temple. An amazing option, if you want to be close to the temple! I would recommend it 100%!! Terima kasih!
