We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet offers great and delicious fresh options. The staff is incredibly friendly. This goes for each staff member from the reception to the housekeeping. The room is clean and the double room with a small sleeping sofa option and large double bed was perfect for our family of 4.

The reception desk is on the 2 floor and only accessible by 2 elevators, which is super annoying when a group is there or lots of people arrive at the same time. The waiting area in front of the elevators is small. One time it took us forever to get upstairs! There's no access to the stairs, so we could only wait. I would expect a bit more facilities. Like there's a game room, but only with 2 bean chairs. Please add more comfortable chairs so parents can sit too. There's a tent for a younger child, but I would expect a bit more toys or small games for younger children for the price you pay.

The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit. Hotel transportation from the airport to Hyatt Place was perfect. All personnel was super friendly and helpful and we had a great reception. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had dinner at Papillon restaurant which was great!! Both the quality of the food as well as the service. The next morning the breakfast buffet was amazing. I have never seen such variety in food and beverages. Just too much to choose from! (Which is a compliment) We only stayed one night but wished we could stay longer.

The only thing I didn’t like was the window from the bathroom to the bedroom. If one of us had to use the toilet at night, the other would wake up from the light being switched on.

The new Hyatt Place Makassar is the perfect place to stay while in Makassar. Not only the location is perfect, also the rooms & all the amenities are really nice. Rooms are spacious and spotless clean, very comfortable bed, big bathroom. The restaurant offers delicious meals and breakfast is has a huge selection of all kind and all type of wishes ( international and asian breakfast ). The service and the service staff is excellent. Nice swimming-pool area. Hyatt hotels have never dissapointed us so far.😉 We would always come back!

Really lovely hotel - nice, modern, all the facilities you could want! Super professional staff, friendly! Would absolutely stay here again if we ever came to Makassar. Also, the a la carte menu for dinner in the restaurant was really well made and full of flavour! Local Makassaris had birthday celebrations in the restaurant on the Saturday evening and live music which gave it a nice local dimension!

The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and most importantly they were very accommodating, and tried their best to fulfill your request. Food served freshly every morning during breakfast, and had a wide choice. If you are looking for comfortable place to stay in the middle of makassar city, this definitely the best place to book.

the roof top is not accessible to the public so this should not be advertised. we booked this place for a stop over to relax on the roof top and the swimming pool, the latter was also not accessible due to maintenance so we were rather disappointed. the offered dinner for compensation was a very nice touch however the staff was not informed so we received the bill anyway.

Great service, clean and big rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast is very good and a lot of choice. Certainly recommended for your stay in Makassar.

The breakfast is great but the card menu of the restaurant (for lunch or dinner) is small. The food is furthermore very expensive and not that tasty. Recommend eating outside in a local restaurant for better tasting food that's 10 x cheaper....

Everything it was as expected. Clean , cozy and professional staff . The views at hight floors are espectacular!!

Not big deal but the towels for the gym you may get it in the reception desk, it would be much easier just have it in the gym like anywhere else. As I mention is not big deal only for them to improve.

The room and the Breakfast and the location os excellent !

The common toilet near the breakfast area, and the Gym was quite dirty. No stanby cleaner. This was my second time staying there, and I was quite dissapointed with the cleanliness of the commen area.

The accommodations are new, clean and very comfortable. The food is delicious and there are so many options at breakfast. Best of all are the staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.
