This is a great place. It is situated on a perfect spot while right under your nose is a beautiful and easy hike path to Brome (in 30 minutes I ran back from Bromo top to the hotel - walking takes for.example an 45 to 60 minutes) or the direction King Kong Hill. Forget jeeps and walk early in the morning (if you want because the view from the hotel is also beautiful) to King Kong hill; than take your taste breakfast and in the afternoon when there are not traffic jams of pedestrians (you can count the jeeps easily. 300ish in the morning and 3 at 01:00 in the afternoon). The staff is super friendly and together the clean a lot and they succeed in very clean rooms. Yes they are kind of basic but what do you get in the European mountains? More basic. Of yes it is not a all inclusive resort but a place with atmosphere - so some people better stay in a resort and go with the helicopter to the Bromo. For all contacts wifi is great. But if you love live contact: the owner is a most kind man and helps without any problem. For a friendly orice and with one of his most friendly staff he brought us to Bunyawangi. We definitely would stay longer if we should do the trip again, and walk instead around more days and skip the jeeps and keep on loving the freandy staff and unique location. Location, location, location!👍👍👍 What an amazing view of Bromo and less than 1 hour to walk up King Kong Hill for amazing views of all 3 volcanoes! Very basic yet spacious room with comfortable and clean bed/linen. The staff were fabulous and breakfast was great too with huge choice of fresh local food. They even provided a simple but tasty packed breakfast as we left in the night to catch a train.

The room was pricey for what it was. As other reviews, it was very basic and worn out and really could do with the same quality of refurb we could see taking place across the hotel complex. We only stayed one full night and it suited our needs as we spent most time out hiking in the stunning scenery and mountains. The location, food and staff made up for any shortcomings 👍

This guest house has the perfect location, right on the edge if the caldera. You have a panoramic view of Bromo, the sea of sand and two other volcanoes. In the morning the valley is filled with mist. The whole terrace and restaurant face this view. If you choose to walk and climb Bromo, the path starts directly next to the hotel! Staff are helpful and friendly. Radi is great for jeep and transport. We had hearty breakfasts here. The rooms are basic but cosy with plenty of blankets and quilts, which you will need. Honestly you cannot find a better place for views. It's magical! Excellent value

Location wise..its superb .the morning view is spectacular! Love the breakfast buffet. Room is basic but worth the price..

Theres a smell, and i was reading review..but actually the smell probably come from the smoke mountain since the location are close to mt bromo. Its the smell of sulfur and not because of bad piping toilet issue. The view is to die for and i dont mind the smell at all.

The location doesn't get much better. It faces bromo and you can see it all there in front of you. Staff are friendly

Better transparency with booking bromo tour would be good. Verbal deals are fine but feel more comfortable when prices are written on a price list

The staff and the location were top-tier. You will see Gunung Batok and Bromo directly from the hotel. There are also a few nearby restaurants where you can access halal food. You can also rent a puffer jacket from the staff in case you forgot to bring one

View side of hotel are beautiful Hot water for shower provided Breakfast ok Some people sell chicken satay with rice cake and meat ball soup outside hotel. If you don't want buy food in their restaurant, you have choice. Because this hotel up hills so ..... that's enough.

No body wash No tea bag in the room No hot water in the sink Second night no new supply for tea bag or coffee sachet, no new towel or cleaning rubbish.

The location was amazing with views on Bromo from our bedroom. Plenty of restaurants nearby and immediately at the start of the trekking trails. Staff was friendly.

The bed was quite uncomfortable and cleanliness of the linnen was a bit questionable

Great location! One of the best views of Mount Bromo around. Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Wifi in the rooms was poor. Hardly any hot water.

The location was great. It was easy to visit the volcano and the view was marvellous. The breakfast was above expectations.
