The breakfast was not excellent. The western dishes are not exactly what we are used to. The first day was a la carte and the next was buffete style which was much better

This property is wonderful.... The staff is amazing and makes your stay incredible! One of them took me on a tour to a local village and it was so interesting!!!

Oh where do I start? Everything was perfect and exceeding our expectations. The welcoming "ceremony" was memorable and since we booked a suite our checked in was done in a special lounge area for suite guests. This lounge area is perfectly decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We then got upgraded to Premiere Suite which was superb. One thing we noticed from day one is the present of soothing aromatherapy everywhere in the hotel. Could you let me know what aromatherapy is that? Furthermore the choices of food and beverages are diverse and delicious. We do aware that the food price is rather high but this is worth it since the food and drinks are of high quality. Additionally, given the hotel's location and its 5 stars status the price of the food and beverages are not exorbitant. We love the location and environment of the hotel.. It was an unforgettable vacation for both of us and we are looking forward to come back to Plataran Bromo!

I only have one comment, as a hotel that is located in the heart of East Java, I was surprised that I couldn't find Rawon in the Dinner Menu. My family is from the area where Mt Bromo is (Sukapura) and Rawon is basically a household dishes there. So I would love to see Rawon in the dinner menu anytime in the future.. There's no further "dislike" since we love everything.

Very unique architecture and gardens, all in Hindu style. The room was spacious and relaxing. All the personnel is very kind and attentive. The food is excellent. The position is perfect to explore Bromo Volcanos. We also had a massage in the SPA and it was great.

Two very little things, because is was all very good. Maybe the personnel is a little bit too keen on pleasing the customers, which is of course good in general, but maybe a little bit too much. Another thing is that in the villages around everyone rides a motorcycle without db killers, which is fun to see but also noisy sometimes, maybe the staff could use bikes with db killers in the property.

The exceptional localization of the hotel between many hills: it is magic place to stay. We appreciated the variety of possible activities. The niceness of staff and the dedicated involvement of Jonathan the manager: chatting with the guests, taking pictures, giving advice. We booked the campervan dinner which as a magical time and we also visited the sunset hill of the hotel. We had a pleasant afternoon with the cooking and jam lessons chatting with the staff after Bromo tour in the morning.

A recommendation for cooking class and jam class maybe ask more from guests: that they really prepare their own sauce and cut their vegetables so that they are a little more involved. It does not change the fact that we really loved cooking with the assistant chef and with the head of pastries.

Beautiful hotel, comfy beds, very quiet and relaxing environment

Beyond the looks of the hotel itself, the rest is not up to expectations given the price. Staff in the restaurant barely speaks english, and was either coughing or smelled like sweat. Food arrives way before the drinks, for each person at different timing, and is of quite average quality in Java. It was also freezing in the restaurant, with all doors open while people were wearing their winter jackets. All 4 of us also doubted about the drink water quality, and got sick in the afternoon. Last, the taxi booked by the hotel was poor, with the driver not understanding English and almost falling asleep behind the wheel.

The weather and the vibe there are great. The staff and the services are also very good. We are so welcomed there and feel comfortable. Wish could come back again next time

Some flies are around us when we have breakfast or tea time. But on the hand, I know that The staff has anticipated this by covering the food and fruits using serving hoods.

The location - quiet, cool weather, beautiful stars at night. The rooms are well appointed with a patio overlooking the mountains. And we loved the idea of having a common sitting area with dining table, shared among 4 rooms. The service was excellent. All the staff members were friendly and accommodating.

Hotel staffs are very helpful and they provide us exceptional service. All the staffs very friendly and capable to do their job.

The room was not that quite enough. Some sound from the surroundings can be heared through the window and doors. Maybe they can upgrade the alumunium windows and doors for better sound proofing.

Lounge and restaurant was good. Room okay, but have to use stair to claim up. Maybe oke for youngster but not me.

to reach the room, have to use stair and on the way to room not 100% safe on rain, water splash you and make you wet.

A real paradise in the Bromo region! Selly was a real nice and friendly host.

Staff was not always up to date when we had specific questions (Tour to Bromo, possibility of buying train tickets online...).
